How to add programs in Today "Home Screen"? - Touch Cruise ROM Development

Hi,
I want to add a few programs in Today "Home Screen". Some programs are automatically added to Today and I can tick or untick it if I wish them to be on my Home Screen. How I can add some programs in Today if they are not added automatically?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Regards,
Xes

Hello,
you can choose what you want to see in Today's Screen.
Go to : Start --> Settings --> Today
in bottom clic on "elements", and choose that you want to see or not.
clic on "OK" to save settings.
Bye,
garou
or if you really want your today screen to be empty then try this app out; called no plugins today. just install the cab and you can put the app icon on your start menu. clicking it will hide everything on your today screen leaving it with the theme or pic you use. clicking it again will have your today plugins reappear. cheers

Can any body add "tasks" in "today" Tab? I need to check how many tasks in my job.

Can any body help on the "Tasks" function? I want to check How many tasks in the "Today" Tab. It's very useful for me.
Or create a new Tab for "Task management", I think many people need this function, it just as important as calendar. Why we can check calendar but can not check task?
Hi dude!
I think is not possible to see more tasks in today screen if you have TF3D.
But you can install a program like "STODAY" to see all your tasks.
Another possibility is to install "MANILA CONTROL", with this APP you can switch between manila and today screen.

If you use BsB Tweaks and enable the option "Windows Settings - Show normal settings in start menu" then the settings icon in the start menu goes back to being the classic settings icon (takes you to "all settings").
Instal BSB Tweaks which has a toggle to turn on the 'real' windows settings in start menu.
I know there's another solution to do this, but i don't know where the folder is located to link it on start menu.
I won't install anything additionally for windows settings
Its not a folder to link, it's a control panel item, and therefore isn't easy to link to like programs are.
DO a google on 'links to control panel items windows mobile'
Are you actually saying that you want the settings icon in the start menu to take you to the same thing you get when you click "all settings" on the settings tab?
If so, a 30 second search of this forum turned up this post...

If that's not what you want then can you please explain better?

Removing taskbar icons

I was able to remove these when i first got my phone, but now ive changed roms and need to do it again, i cannot find out how to delete some of the icons in the bottom taskbar, ie. footprints, music, social club, stocks etc...
whats the way to get rid of a few, have tried googling, searching this site and am not having any luck
thanks
first of all, what you are referring to are called "tabs" on the "tab bar" of manila/sense. knowing this will help you refine your searches next time.
the process for modifying the order and visibility of tabs is simple! on the home tab, open the menu bound with the right soft key called "Menu". the second option called "Personalize Home Screen Tabs" should do the trick!
in some cooked ROMs, this menu is removed and replaced with other custom options. on such ROMs, swipe to the Settings tab and choose "Personalize". there you will find the same option named "Home screen tabs".

Change the Windows Icon shortcut

Hi,
Is there any way to change the bottom left Windows Icon shortcut. Its default is the same as the middle hardkey to call the application folders. I want to change to another application.

Since you're on an EnergyROM, you have AMeBa (X-Button Settings) pre-installed.
Go to Start > Tools > X-Button Settings > there's an option there (I think it's the first page) that has things to do for the Start Button. Change that option to "Run App" and select an application you want to run when pressing that button.
It works . Thanks a lot.
