SPB Mobile Shell 2.1 without speaker icon?

Hi Lads!Somebody tell me why in oryginal version SPB Mobile Shell 2.1 (1 picture from SPB http://spbsoftwarehouse.com right down side no speaker icon, but here (picture 2) i see this icon??Second skin looks better,someone nows how to add this icon??I have SPB Phone Suite but in Classic Today Settings in Shell i don't have speaker icon!Why?Help please!

because in the original it will only show in professional mode i think...or at least without the analog clock...u can search around to see how to add the icon there ...maybe in the how-to guide

Hello to all brains
i have question
Is there a possibility to include spb diary or today agenda into manila2d surface?
It is for me very important that i see my apointments and my todolist when i open the phone. But today agenda and spb diary is only for the home of windows mobile and i cant see the progs. It would be perfect anyone of the brains can include it.
i know that it is possible for the spb mobile shell manila skin with a xml code but i dont know wheter it is possiple for the real manila2d

Best solution so far is to use SecondToday and map it to a hot key, that way any today plugins that aren't in manilla can be accessed with a single button push.

Hey there's a new workaround check this post...it took me a while to set my screen up but looks great now....

Using the SecondToday works just fine for me. Looks good and mapping it to a key. Is great. I rely too much on todayagenda to lose it on manila.

Contact tab on my Today Screen?

Hi guys, I have searched and searched but cant find.. Is there a prog that can fix so I can have lets say five contacts on my today screen? So I just tap them and either get some options, sms or call up. Or it just calls them up.
Hope u understand what I'm out after =)
Of course I mean the today screen with the TF3D disabled =)

You can also add Contact's pictures as a quick shortcut on the main screen of SPB Pocket Plus.

sadly speaking all doesnt work on manilla... only 1 i have awork around is icontact and changing the left key to icontact... but i really love mobile shell contacts

You can definately use it with "2nd Today", I am using SPB Traveller with 4 different clocks & VOIP on the normal Today Screen.

I run SPB Mobile shell, it's not active as a plug-in, I can still use the slide move from "Start" tho ( 15 extra fav contacts and stuff ), and by using Fantastic Bytes Softkey Manager 1.1 my right softkey is set to SPB contacts, works like a charm

imho, yes
we can have touchflo3d, spb mobile shell isn't confortable as it can seems. It has poor integration even with spb products, i.e. if you need phone profiles and use spb phone suite you can't have a wireless switch on today, you have to navigate trough menu (feature request from about 1 year!!!). Also menu customization isn't simple and some basical function are still difficoult to reach. And I reported a lot of crash when customize.
It's UGLY and we don't have much skins for wvga, and skinning is a real pain as they don't release any documentation and all new version messes up all our knowledges changing layout, calls, api... I was about to release a pretty wvga xperia theme for mobile shell 2.1 but the upgrade from 2.1.1 to 2.1.3 has break too much things and i have to give up. They don't deserve us and I don't encourage people to use it
tflo3d is a mess too to skin, but at least it's free for us, much cooler by default and more stable even on xperia

I don't think that you're stupid if you buy SPB mobile shell 2.
I've tried both spb panel and tf3dhd, and the fullversion of spb mobile shell 2 beats them hands down. It's quite easy to customize the menues and is lighter on the cpu than the hog tf3d (in comparison to spb MS2 it is a hog.).
I say go for it.

The real thing has more options and a "today" plugin and it looks nicer.

i tried the spb mobile 2 and i like it overall, but would prefered to have it as an panel otherwise i had to keep pressing the button for the spb shell to appear every time. is there any way to have it as a panel as i could not see the option to?
at the moment i use the spb shell panel from SE which i like to layout of?

if you use s2u you can set it to wake uo directly to spb, otherwise if you use search you'll find some sort of "daemon" that cares about switching automagically to spb when normal today comes up
but the point is: spb is undocumented, heavy and a pain to skin/customize

using 2.1.2

The first option in Shell settings is to "Show the [Spb Shell] Now Screen when device wakes up."

as a one on one compare, does it WOW much more than the SE panel?

Im using SPB 2.1.2 and I tried TF3D.
IMO SPB shell is much better and easier to customize and gives me satisfaction. Im using several plugins and it works as a charm. Quick and nice looking and its setted up as my "Today Screen" so I dont have to push anything to make it come up.
I love it and would recommend u to buy it. But try the Trial first to see if it fits u..

For SPBMS users:
is the standard version able to work together with panels? i.e. in case you install MS AND want to use another panel, like Facebook or Google?

I have bought it and thinks it is a great program til i noticed that i had to charge the battery every day. I uninstalled it and now i can wait four days before i have to charge it again.
They have a 15-day trial that u can try, but remember to check your battery

I enable the Spb Phone Suite plug-in/tab in Mobile Shell settings. Then enable Spb Mobile Shell in Start> Settings > Today > Items. Phone Suite wireless and profile switchers are shown as drop down tabs on the WM Today panel. Can't imagine how a more "normal today plugin" would look.
Re. battery life. Wrote this yesterday in another forum; will quote myself here -
100% when I left for work this morning at 6:45am

Spb Traveler is set to auto-update weather & currencies every 2 hrs
10 texts
15 mins of calls

right now[17:45], my battery is reading 60%
mobile is set to GSM/EDGE with auto band selection

Is it possible to integrate the full mobile shell as a panel, like the lite version?

Maybe its possible to simply overwrite the files from mobilebshell panel edition with the files of the full version?

well in a way it IS a panel as it works on your home panel (which I have changed the image of to show Mobile Shell) and on your fish panel too. but if I want my Mobile Shell panel, I just choose my home panel.

SPB Mobile Shell & HTC Sense?

I have SPB Mobile Shell installed and have HTC Sense as my Today screen. I have tried to resequenced them in Start-Up and still works as such:
1. When I boot up SPB MS shows but then HTC Sense Today (ST) displays.
2. I have a shortcut/Icon to get to SPB MS on HTC ST screen. However, if I go to SPB MS it takes me to that screen then immediately returns to HTC ST.
3. If I change the shortcut/Icon to SPB Carousel it does take me to the carousel and I can select any screen except SPB MS and it will stay/display that screen until I go back to HTC ST.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this so when I go to SPB MS and still use HTC ST I can stay there on SPB MS?
On my Omnia I900 I can do basically what I want, however, I am using Omnia Home Option 1 or 2 instead of HTC ST. Tried comparing the two sequence and that is the same on boot-up.

download shell switcher (freeware) from omarket works perfectly ..just select the shell that you prefer either spb, htc sense or windows..alternative would be go to settings and de select sense from today screen options.. its best if you save spb on the device rather then storage card also please note if you select spb you would not be able to access the htc sense today screen only.sry if i misunterstood your question.hope that helps

Thanks! I tried that months ago and must have had an older version since it was not very responsive. Trying the latest that I downloaded and installed, and it seems to work better.
I only wish there was a way to go directly back and forth without making a selection each time. I will play with it to see if there are any options to set default, i.e., SPB SM to HTC Sense (if on SPB SM) and/or HTC Sense to SPB SM (if on HTC Sense) without making a selection each time. Meaning if you on on SPB MS have an Icon to take you directly to HTC and vice versa.
The options shown are:
1. Switch to Selected Shell (but you have to go to the Shell Switcher and Select HTC Sense or SPB Mobile Shell then Switch to that (SPB or HTC Shell.)
2. Switch to Classic Today screen such as: Resco Today Plugin, Pocket Player, Iconsoft PhonEx, Google Search, Skyfire, ElecontWeather, Windows Live, Bing, Instant Messaging, SPB Diary, SPB Backup, SPB Traveler, etc.
Do appreciate your help. My Shout!!

Definitely, I will post here. I been on YouTub looking for a solution, too. I thought I found one where a bloke posted about SPB MS V5, but it was not V5 and it wasn't showing how to switch back and forth.
