If you are trying to change the Page Pool, the batch files need to be run on your PC, with your phone connected via ActiveSync.

How are you running it on the PC? Double-clicking on the .bat file? And you are running Windows, right?
It is possible that your file associations are messed up for batch files. Try doing it this way:
1) Unzip the Page Pool files to somewhere that will be easy to find - like c:\PPool
2) Go to Start > Run
3) type 'cmd' in the Open box and click OK. (do not type the quote marks, just cmd). if you did it right, a black "DOS" window should open.
4) Type 'c:' and press <Return> (assuming that you unzipped to the c: drive - and again, don't type the quotes)
5) Type 'cd PPool' and press Return. The command prompt should now read C:\PPool. If you used a different directory name, then substitute that name for the PPool in my example.
6) Make sure that your phone is connected via ActiveSync. Type backup.bat and press return
If you did it right, it should display a line of text starting with 'pdocread', and then another line starting with 'copying'...
All in all, it should take about 15 seconds to perform the backup and then drop you back to your command prompt.
When the backup is complete, you can do the pagepool change by entering the size you want and pressing Return (4.bat, or 6.bat, for example)
Good luck,
ok il try that also how do i install java games for this and i would like to know what games are supported and if theres a gba emulator for this wing?

Java files are installed after launching Jbed or any Java client on your PocketPC first.
There are a lot of emulators including Game Boy Advance. Have a look at here

No, only things exposed by the phone like photos and videos.
i've firstly root.ok.n then xrecovery.ok..but then when i want to enable JIT following this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=877565,
my phone suddenly can't connect to wifi.and then the xrecovery cant be perform...and other things,how can i perform this operation?
(1: enable JIT (in a termnial or adb shell)
cd adb
adb shell
su
cd /sdcard/JiT-toggle-0.1
sh enable_jit.sh)
i connect the phone to pc an enable debug mode,run cmd,but pc says cant detect..watsoever..
can anyone help me?
If you followed all instructions for JIT and your wifi doesn't work means it wasn't the correct version of Busybox. I recommend you to install Titanium Backup hit Problems? and install busybox. Then, when you copy all files for JIT, don't copy busybox, because you have already the latest one. It should work. It happend to me, too. The nasty part is that you need to repair your Android with PcCompanion/ SEUS.
do i need to repair my phone first with pc companion or repeat again the step?
n how to run cmd?do i need to enable debug?i dont know how to do this instruction,1: enable JIT (in a termnial or adb shell)
cd adb
adb shell
su
cd /sdcard/JiT-toggle-0.1
sh enable_jit.sh
Well, if you have your phone rooted with superoneclick, then you got adb.exe. You need to access that folder into cmd. ex : c:\superoneclick\ and then with the phone connected (usb debug enabled) you can enter commands like adb shell and su. Try it. But wifi and xrecovery malfunctions are symptoms that something went wrong. Eventually repair with PcCompanion. Good Luck.
when i run the command prompt,it says 'adb' is not recognized as an internal or external command,operable program or batch file..is this because i didnt rooted my phone well?
Do you have adb.exe? Or superoneclick for root?
yeah.i have both.i downloaded superoneclick and inside ithave adb.exe..but when i click adb.exe,nothing happened.just a temporary command prompt about 2second and then its appeaered..
now open start-run->cmd and go to that folder. And only there you can run "adb shell".
So, in cmd you must be in that folder in order to input all commands.
go to that folder?what do u mean?open cmd from the folder?or open cmd and click to the folder?
sorry for the noob question..

thank god.finally i know how to run command.thanks a lot redpik
guys..help me.how am i to solve this command error?
Please follow this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=877565 .
If you connect your phone to computer, make sure not to mount the sdcard. So, click on USB CONNECTION and select TURN OFF from the status bar. Make sure you have SUPERUSER application installed to grant access.
If it helps you, please consider pressing Thanks button.
sorry redpik..
i got big probs.. my homescreen and apps icon become smaller and i dont know whats going on.
is it brick or something else?
i try to use pc companion and seus,but it keep saying no update for my phone..
seriously,this small icon thing make me crazy..
I don't know what's with the screen, shouldn't have happened. Seus says no update, but Repair button is active so you can make it brand new. Then try again rooting and jit.
I have a nook simple touch reader, I installed android with a sd card following these instructions
--------------------------------------------------------
For Windows users:
Run WinImage.exe (Right click, Run as Administrator)
Select Disk from the menu and select "Restore Virtual Hard Disk Image...".
Select your SDCard from the list and click OK.
In the Open dialog box select "All Files" in the lower right file type box, browse to nookhoney.img, select, and click Open.
--------------------------------------------------------
When I rebooted it was a screen that allowed me to choose two options, one was "ADW"(I suppose that is android) and "Home" (usual nook). I selected "Home" and made a tick on the box to make it default. Now I do not know how to go to android from the nook "Home".
Could you help me, please?
Don't know about nookhoney.img - I used MinimalTouch.
I have a faint symbol on the right hand of the screen. Touching the symbol makes a faint menu pop up.
@niaosan: That's Button Savior, it will get you back to the Launcher, but won't change the preference.
@genoxygen: I'm not familiar with nookhoney.img
Some folks have Nook Touch Tools or Nook Color Tools which have functions for changing activity preferences.
Do you have ADB to your Nook?
I just do this stuff by hand.
Code:
adb pull /data/system/packages.xml
Then edit the XML taking the "guts" out of <preferred-activities>
That is, deleting the lines between, but leave <preferred-activities> and </preferred-activities> alone.
Code:
adb push packages.xml /data/system/

Are you sure you are speaking about the Nook Simple Touch (black and white ebook reader), and not about the Nook Color or the Nook Tablet? nookhoney is for the Nook Color. They are supported in different sub-forums.
My nook is the "simple touch reader" and the software android software is touchnooter-2-1-31.
Sorry about the confussion.
-------------------------------------------------------
I observed I have a button on the screen, to right, I pressed that button, and there are 5 options.
-three cercles
when pressing them, it shows me another menu, to choose a telephone, a camera and a seacrh option.
-arrow
Superuser Request. Button Savior is requesting Superuser access.
I pressed Allow, but I do not know what is its utility.
-four squares
- a house
goes to nook home
- a power down button
does not do nothing
-------------------------------------------------------
I pressed all those button but none of them takes me to android. What could I do next?
Did I installed correctly android to my device with these instructions?
--------------------------------------------------------
For Windows users:
Run WinImage.exe (Right click, Run as Administrator)
Select Disk from the menu and select "Restore Virtual Hard Disk Image...".
Select your SDCard from the list and click OK.
In the Open dialog box select "All Files" in the lower right file type box, browse to touchnooter-2-1-31.img, select, and click Open.
--------------------------------------------------------
"House" is going to Nook stock Home because you selected the wrong activity.
My advice is as above or use one of the "Nook Tools".
By the way, you didn't install android, because it was already in there. You were allowed to bypass the restricted Barnes&Noble reader part and run your STR as a full android e-reader/tablet.

I do not know how to use adb, although I have it installed on my Windows OS...
------------------
What could I do? Should i...?
- Restore my nook firmware, installing n2T-Recovery_0.1.rar http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1289233
- Install touchnooter-2-1-31
- Choose "adk" instead of "home", should I make it default or not? If made default, can I go easily to nook "home"? Or there will be the same problem like the one I had?

You can always get back to the Nook Home page (unless you deleted it like I did ).
The adb you want is in the Android SDK. http://developer.android.com/sdk/installing.html
You can use it over Wifi or USB. The USB needs drivers on your desktop though.
The file is adb.exe
It should be in something like C:\Program Files\Android\SDK\platform-tools
Code:
adb connect 192.168.1.27 [i]or whatever[/i]
adb shell
ls
Thank you so much. Finally I did it.
This will show you how to Decompile and Recompile SecPhone.apk (Deodexed) for Jellybean 4.1.1 and 4.1.2
Tools Needed:
This zip file: http://www.mediafire.com/?0b2ad2ow254ou3a
Java jdk and environment variables set correctly (if you don't know how, Google it)
Notepad++
7Zip
Decompile:
1. Download attached files and unzip folder to Desktop.
2. Place SecPhone.apk in Tools folder you just downloaded.
3. Hold Shift and right click inside of folder then click "Open command window here". Make sure no files are selected or it will not show.
5. Type apktool d SecPhone.apk and hit enter. This will create a folder called SecPhone.
6. You’re done you have decompiled the apk.
Recompile:
1. Hold Shift and right click inside of folder then click "Open command window here".
2. Type apktool b SecPhone nSecPhone.apk and hit enter. This will error and look something like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
3. Now look at the code. If you look you will see there are 3 errors like this: Desktop\Tools\SecPhone\res\values-es\strings.xml:195: error: (they might look slightly different with your apk).
4. The things you need to fix this are right here (values-es) refers to a folder in the apk Desktop\Tools\SecPhone\res\ and strings.xml refers to an xml file inside that folder. Also if you read the whole line you will see it is some sort of format error. So go to Desktop\Tools\SecPhone\res\values-es\strings.xml and open it with Notepad++.
5. Now refer back to the error log and you will see values-es\strings.xml:195 the 195 refers to the line in the file that is causing the error. Scroll to that line, it says something like "%1$d% del ciclotranscurrido. So what’s the error? Let’s find out. Copy the code between the "" in this case its throttle_time_frame_subtext.
6.Now go to Desktop\Tools\SecPhone\res\values\strings.xml and open that with Notepad++ and search for code you just copied throttle_time_frame_subtext and compare the two files. You can see the difference error code has this %1$d% and the correct code has %1$d٪ so correct the code and save the file. Now do this for all 3 errors.
7. Now with all errors fixed we can Recompile so type apktool b SecPhone nSecPhone.apk and press Enter. This time it will complete without errors.
8. Open original SecPhone.apk with 7zip and open new nSecPhone.apk with 7zip and copy META-INF and AndroidManifest.xml from originalapk to new apk. Rename new apk to SecPhone.apk and its ready to be flashed. Don't forget to Zipalign. DONE!
If this helps you please don't forget the thanks button

Thanks for this mate.. I was wondering for a long time on this error

Thanks for your work!
This is a guide on how to install an app using terminal emulator on a rooted device.
First make sure you have terminal emulator installed and root with su
Open terminal emulator and type in
cd sdcard
Press enter
Then type
Ls make sure the L is in lowercase
This will display the entire sd card contents
Then type cd "folder name" I.e Bluetooth or download so it will look like this
cd bluetooth
Press enter
Again type
Ls with a lower case L
Again you get a list of what's in the folder
Then type
su
Press enter
Then type this line
pm install "app name.apk"
So it would read like this in terminal emulator
pm install "root browser.apk"
You should get a message stating pkg name installing
Success
Exit terminal emulator and open your app drawer and search for the app you just install and open it
Congratulations on using command prompt with terminal emulator to install an app
I will be posting pics later for a visual walkthrough
If an app won't install try to rename the app to something smaller if you need to like if root browser app is named "root browser-233.apk" for instance just rename it to "root browser.apk" and then run the
pm install "root browser.apk" Command line in terminal emulator
It should successfully install some times an apps name is to long so it's invalid (I'm not positive on the exact error message offhand)
Hope this helps if you flash a ROM and don't have WiFi and need and app installed but only have terminal emulator like some aokp aosp and cm Roms do
I apologize for the pics on their sides before hand this phone sucks when it comes to pick can't wait to buy my galaxy s4 developers edition lol but anyway
OK as I promised to add pics for the walkthrough I used my titanium backup key.apk for an example
First open terminal emulator and type this

Enter
Type this to display contents of folder
Enter
Type this and accept su request
Type this line exactly as it looks with the quotes except use the name of the app your installing
If done correctly you should see this
