Maximum of Battery is 85%?

I just bought T-Mobil from the secondhend shop.
It's quite cheap ad good for me.
After I leave it with charger along the night, in the morning it still 85%.
Another thing is the Battery status often reducing to ZERO and back to normal.(look ok but it's let the phone and BT off as well.)
Any idea for this?
Anybody ever met this before?

No, something wrong with your battery. Tell the retailer that the battery is faulty and never reaches 100%.

hi I have XDA Exec. i was using it in fine way but now from few days it gets switched off in between 50-60% of battery or network goes away while talking on d fone, it goes hang smtime also, from 100% to 60 % it works fine.
I went to gaffar (well known mobile market India Delhi) one of th shopkeeper told me to change ROM. now i m using 2.02.02 ROM still same Prob.
ne1 can help?????????????/

HI Kamaldeep. if u can avail me ne genuin link to helmi 3.5.1 rom. i want to upgrade. or please help me with the difference between 2.02.02 and helmi 3.5.1. i will b thankfull to u

my problem was solved when i flashed my rom, in my case WM6
then it would reach 100% again.

Blokes at Gaffar are IMHO, illiterates. AFAIK, no ROM introduced changes in battery monitoring How can a ROM make your faulty battery work nicely?

Very thanks for all discussion, after I post this problem here I go back to try another 5 or 6 Roms Upgrading.
I'm not sure is it about the Rom issue, But for now it back to normal.

ROM version : 2.60.10 WWE
ROM date: 12/20/06
Ratio version : 1.15.00
Prorocal version : 42.51.P8
ExtROM version : -
I have tried many many ROM, so for now I can't remember this one is from where?
But very Thanks for your ROM...
It's not immediately 100% after finished the ROM upgrade, it still max at 85%.
But on the way I back home in the evening, I notice that the Battery step down more slow than ever.
And in this morning I take look at the screen, cool 100%.

WiFi and Battery discharge

Hi Guys,
A weird problem I encountered with my recent play with acbPowerMeter.
In normal state my Elf consumes about 140 mA +\-20 (Due to various CPU load).
However, after turning WiFi ON this value jumps to 400mA, well nothing you can do about. So, I understand that after turning WiFi OFF, the battery drain should come down to normal value. This is not a case at all. Battery discharge stays on around 400mA.
Only swithcing Off/ON Flight mode resets WiFi module. A quite starange behaviour !
My question is anyone came across this problem and knows the solution apart of switching Radio module On/Off every time after using WiFi to save battery charge?

I heard this problem before and it should be fixed by flashing the updated stock ROM of htc or flashing the new onyx 4.6 ultimate.
Dont try Onyx 5.0 first.

My Elf is way too slow on stock ROM (official HTC version you mean as I understood) neither I need all the stuff from ultimate Onyx version. Micro version is OK for me.
Before I had similar problem with Blue elves v5.
Pity, the problem still there :-(

Before using onyx, im using blue elves too.
and everytime i had an issue like that, soft reset.
But after using onyx, its so easy.

This can be done by a free software mentioned in first post ( acbPowerMeter)
search it in forums

Here is my power consumption usage.
WiFi - 2hrs
Normal usage, a day or 1.5 days.

Camera problem in Atom Life under WM6.5 builds

Pal's:
I have cooking experience for years. I got an Atom Life (brand new) recently and now playing with that. But one problem buging me very much, that is camera problem. Camera refuse to start on cooked rom. Actually it works on WM6.1 core but not on WM6.5. I have tried couple of different builds but result is same.
Is it a known issue? Appreciate if you could shed me some light.

I have also this problem with some of the new roms. I solved it for most of the 6.5's by updating from the latest MWG original ATOM Life Rom. It updates the radio versions etc then reflash using a dio file as per the ROM you wish to install. Excuse maybe some of my terminolgy, but hopefully you will get on the right path.

camera flash issue

Hello to everybody.
I have rom 1.48 and some programs installed (BsB and net 3.5 above all plus some games). I installed also the hotfix for the camera but now my xenon flash seems to be dead. When I turn on the camera, the flash butto remains always off even if I try pressing the flash button. I don't think it's a hardware problem but software or maybe registry because if I use TorchButton program, the leds are working properly (bright, SOS and so on).
I there anybody able to help me?

Is your battery low? I know the flash gets turned-off when the battery is low.

it was above 10% (the first warning level). but after your advice I will try again when is above 50% at least and I will post here...

I think the flash stops working @ 30% battery level.

phew...!!!
ok guys, everything is gonna be alright....
I waited patiently and checked every 1% step up on the battery level...
Below 20% the flash is automatically turned off...

so not a problem or issue but speaking of camera flash, does anyone know if theres a program to use it as a flashlight only? i mean, i could always open up the camera program and turn it on from there...

Any sense based rom will have no high bluetooth drain

I use RAFDROID HD LIGHT SQ - without any problems with battery drain.

I too would like to know

I also don't know why, but I think this has connection with kernel version.
I have been testing for 2 days CoreDroid sense ROM, and I can confirm that battery don't drain when BT is on.

Can someone here please recommend a ROM that got neither the 60mA drain issue, nor the WiFi drops on standby one ? For those unfamiliar with the second issue, try pinging your device over WiFi and shut the screen off. The device is going to stop responding to pings if the build is affected by the issue.

any sense rom solves the high BT drain.. u can try using DL desire ROM..,

im using ozrom, its do quite good actually...
im using handsfree bt, n i can used for about 12 hours before my battery drop to 30pct..
