trinity wifi problem

Ho reinstallato la rom originale per trinity 1.23 con radio originale 1.38 ma il wifi non si attiva, nè dal comm manager nè da impostazioni>connessioni>wifi
mi è sparita la schermata delle reti disponibili...
cosa fare o dove leggere per risolvere il problema sul trinity?

Hi, same problem here.
1. You can try using stock kernel. On it, wifi'll start working.
2. Otherwise try putting WiFi folder in from Trinity kernel in SYstem\bin directory of your phone.
It'll solve your issue.

FRONT KEYS DON'T WORK (sometimes...)

Hi to all, I'm new on XDA, I've tried to search for my problem but I didn't found anything...so I hope not to say anything already said.
Since few days, the front keys on my TyTN gone mad!
Let's get through:
I was answering to an incoming call, and the green button didn't work. Then, in normal use of the PPC, I noticed that even the other keys stop to work. I soft-resetted the PPC, and the keys apparently restarted to work, maybe not at all, maybe all.
After, the problem reappears. The keys worked for a moment, and then they didn't. I tried an HARD-RESET, I flashed a WM6.1 ROM, but I started to think it is an HW problem, and searching on the net I understand this problem is quitly common on Hermes...but NOONE of who had spoken about the problem seemed to find out any solution...
Does anyone here know about this?

CIAO a tutti, sono nuovo di qui, cercando tra i thread non mi sembra si sia parlato del mio problema e mi auguro di non ripetere qualcosa di già detto.
I tasti frontali del mio TyTN funzionano a singhiozzo.
Da qualche giorno, mentra stavo rispondendo a una chiamata, ho notato che il tasto verde non funzionava. Nel normale uso ho visto che anche gli altri tasti non funzionavano. Dopo un soft reset tutto sembrava essere a posto ma in breve è ricominciato, stesse modalità. I tasti vanno a singhiozzo, ogni tanto vanno ogni tanto no, magari non tutti insieme.
Ho provato un hard reset, a installare la rom WM6.1, ma il problema è persistente. Su internet pare essere una cosa molto comune, ma NESSUNO sembra aver trovato una soluzione efficace.
Nessuno sa qualcosa?

looks like the cords strip of your phone is broken.there is strap cord in the sliding tray after many times of opening closing i meant realy many times it brokes try to go to hardware shop and find the cord strap it will be fine.hope this info will help you to understand your problem and you will stop hitting your head coz this is a common problem with all sliding phones so dont worry find the strap cord if you will enjoye your device again if not find a good buyer who cant see or feel or move or check the phone (it could be the dead one only) and sell it.sorry its just a joke i am having the same phone but since i baught it the shop owner advised me about sliding so i rearly use it thats why i am still enjoying the device.

Buonasera a tutto il forum...
sono un tecnico informatico ed ho ricevuto in assistenza da un amico/cliente un Trinity che va sempre in modalità bootloader appena acceso...
Il Trinity in questione è originale come rom e tutto il resto...
L'Activesync 4.5 sotto XP SP3 non lo rileva... se provo ad usare l'utility MTTY mi da che non riesce ad aprire l'USB... ho provato diverse volte ad flashare sia l'spl 1.2 che l'1.3 senza nessun risultato positivo... il display del Trinity segnalava l'avvio dell'upgrade ma dopo 1 secondo si riavviava (sempre in modalità bootloader) ed il pc dava file di aggiornamento corrotto...
ovviamente come da FAQ ho riprovato diverse volte ad effettuare questi aggiornamenti ma sempre con lo stesso esito...
Ho provato ad installare direttamente da MiniSD la ROM cucinata con il WM6.1 ma non tenta manco di installarla (ovviamente ho ridenominato il file come TRINIMG.nbh)... provando a fare l'aggiornamente alla ROM originale che avete postato qui (quella da utilizzare per mandare il telefonino in garanzia)... ed utilizzando sempre il metodo della MiniSD mi fa effettivamente l'aggiornamento... ma quando riavvio il telefonino mi va sempre comunque in modalità bootloader...
inutile dire che soft ed hard reset sono stati ampiamente provati...
Come la risolvo questa situazione?

I'm an IT Technician and I have a Trinity of a friendly customer of mine to check... this Trinity is always going in bootloader mode as soon as you switch it on...
This Trinity has the original rom and spl on...
MS Activesync 4.5 is not able to detect it under Windows XP SP3... If i try to use the MTTY utility I receive an "i can't open the USB port" error...
I tried several times to flash both version of SPL... 1.2 and 1.3 ... but I had no positive result... Trinity display show the start of the upgrade process but after 1 or 2 second the device reboot (always in bootloader mode) and the PC utility show the corrupted updating file error... I tried as advised from the FAQ to update again without changing anything... but i had the same result.
I also tried to install directly from the MiniSD both the cooked WM6.1 ROM or the original ROM posted on this forum (i renamed each file to TRINIMG.nbh before copying them to the FAT32 formatted MiniSD)... the update of the cooked one is not even starting... the one of the original ROM arrive until the end without any problem... but when I restart the mobile it keep going in Bootloader mode
I have of course tried to do both soft or hard reset several times...
What I have to do to fix this problem?

Hello, I have a problem with my HTC.
For some days the touch screen don't working well.
When the keyboard is closed, the touchscreen works, but when I open the keyboard the touchscreen don't work.. it isn't an hardware problem.. How can I resolve this problem?

And mine has the same problem...:S. I tried to opened the keyboard very slowly and both touchscreen and keyboard worked. But now it doesn't any more...

Mine is the same problem too.i see another theme saying the planar cable is bad. i will exchange a new one.

Ho provato a fare come dici tu, e la stessa cosa accade a me. Se apro piano la tastiera toccando un pò il display poi funziona.. che sia un problema hardware? anche se mi sembra strano..
