Hello,
I've installed HTC streaming media on my Hermes (the pack with codecs that I found here on xda). Currently I'm using windows mobile 6 with Schap's ROM 4.31.
I've noticed that aac+ does not work. When playing a rtsp stream encoded in aac+ the device plays ony in aac (poor quality).
Do I miss some codec ?
Thank you

for somereason it says this feature has been removed it plays divx fine and mpeg but no mp4 any suggestions
just realized that i needed a aac codec got it now .
I did use GSplayer but ACC, ACCplus, WMA, are not supported. Does anyone have any ideal to make it works?
TIA.
TCPMP with the AAC plugin works ok for me. Not sure about AAC+, never streamed anything on my mobile device.
By the way it's AAC not ACC.
Resco Pocket Radio is sucks, too.
Tks Chris. My bad.
The main purpose for AAC and AAC+ is for streaming audio from internet radio. Does the TCPMP on WM have streaming audio online function?
I tried Resco Pocket radio; but many chanels/format can't play. Darn, I'm very surprised that WM lacks of kinda applications which run extremely good on Palm OS e.g Pocket tunes.
Hi,
I've installed divx player mobile. When I play a movie file I do'nt have any sound, just the picture. The audio codec is
mpeg 1 or 2 Audio layer 3 (mp3)
channels: 2
sample rate: 48.000 Hz
Bitrate 124 kbps
Is this audio codec not supported? Is there a way to install different codecs? Is there a better video player for divx/xvid files?
Thank you for your help.
use CorePlayer
Coreplayer seems to be an great application. But it costs $30. Is there any freeware? Or is there a way to get divx player to work?

Same problem
Hello,
i have the same problem with my girlfriend HTC Touch 3g. Any soulution, to play sounds with DivX Mobile Player?
Thanks gingo
no codec
I have the coreplayer, and when I try to play the .avi file it gives me an error box saying that it needs an AC-3 codec wich is not supported by the player(the same happens in DivX). Is there a way to download the codec, or do you guys recommend another player?
Hallo, I have the same problem with divx player on my HD2. No sound when playing avi files. I have TCPMP installed on there is error: Unexpected program failure. Please send "crash.txt" to the developers. Programm will now exit.
I don't know what to do now.
Previously I had Samsung I780 with WM 6.5 Pro and divix player was working fine. What can be wrobg with this one. The same software as my previous phone but not working.
Is there any media players for HD2 that can play VC-1 streams, encoded using WM9 Advanced Profile? the built in Windows media player plays only sound, and the over rated Coreplayer cannot play it.
I've been trying to find a mobile video player that either enchances Windows Media Player Mobile or thorugh its own player.
Looking for something that can play different formats but mainly divix, .mkv and .avi files.
Any help is appreciated.
TIA
Derrick
Coreplayer!, supports Qtv acceleration. HTC Album also is good player, support Qtv and easy of use. TCPMP is slow for high bitrate or high resolution videos, not support Qvt aceleration but support external subtitles.
Sorry for my english
Ditto on Coreplayer. Do consider switching to h.264 .mp4 formats for SUPERIOR performance.
