[Updated 12.10.08] CommManager (10 Buttons) for Diamond - Kaiser and Diamond style

Run the CAB file and soft reset of your device.
Having this skin, you can choose type and quantity of active functions. You can edit the register or use Schaps Advanced Configration Tool v 3.x to do it.
This solution don't replace the existing CommManager. You can use both. Use the Advavanced Config to choose between skins:
On/Off Button - for standard Diamond skin
Large Button - for Kaiser or DiamondStyle skins.
Buttons names will be displayed in your language.
In Dimond Style skin you can use 7 to 10 buttons (from 12).
WARNING! When you use 10 buttons, place the Sound/Vibrate button in last line for better performance.
In Kaiser skin - 10 buttons (from 12).

Now all we need is for one of our skinning masters to come up with a more diamond looking interface and this will be really cool.
EDIT: Just noticed there is no option to turn off 3G!

Can this be made a tab in TF3D?

I renewed the graphic files (Look in the preview), but i´m not able, to make a cab out of these files. I don´t have the knowledge in this way. If someone want´s to make this job, i post here the changed graphics. But at 1st it would be good, to get a feedback.
To integrate it in TF3D, you can use the Softkey Changer. With this program you can replace one tab of the homescreen from Programs or else to Comm Manager.

Is it possible to make a 3G button. I use it a lot to save battery.

Here I have tried to make skin in Diamond CommMamager style .
Having this skin , you can choose type and quantity of active functions from 7 to 10 (12 accessible). You can edit the register or use Schaps Advanced Configration Tool v 3.2 to do it. Now you don't need to change buttons pictures as in Kaiser CommManager.
BUT I haven't standard icons for buttons InternetSharing and VOIP to finish this work.

I´ve got it to run...with some tricks. But i don´t like, that this module don´t recognize, that there are masked .png-files. So all, what should be invisible, is now white. But the functions are okay. It integrates itself into the Comm Manager in the Connection-Tab. But not in the new seperate Comm Manager tab, that´s a problem.
Also there are little graphic errors, which are not in the original graphics.

Really like the concept here. Might need some work on cleaning up the images and maybe adding a little depth. Great work though.

Ive tryed it now. I cant delete it at all. When i try to delete it, and when i try to open the comm manager again, ill get a black screen, with white text from kaisers comm manager

Check the registry keys, for Diamond standard must be:
[HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\CommManager]
SupportedFunctions=6
DisableButtonText=3
For Kaiser:
SupportedFunctions=10
DisableButtonText=2
And soft-reset, of course...
Or use Advanced Config \CommManager: choose your 6 function and On/Off Buttons.

You mean found the solution to delete it and install the original Comm Manager, or found the solution to make it work ? If the answer is the second one, please share it with us !!!!!

I found the solution to put the original commanager, all commanager have installed work very good and configurable with advenced-config

No, this solution don't replace the existing CommManager. You can use both. Use the Advavanced Config to choose between skins:

in future I want make default skin available in Diamond too.

SPB Shell on HD

Hi Good Peoples,
Is anyone working on modified menus for SBP Shell so that they will work on the HD?

Spb have just released an UPDATED version of Mobile Shell - this has the issue of drop-down menus fixed.
They cannot give a date when other programmes such as Diary will be fixed, but claim it is a straightforward fix that will be addressed in the next update for each module.

That skinning program (a few posts above) is brilliant and just what the doctor ordered.

I am working woth the actual newest build and it is working fine on the HD.
It has all necessary options and gives the HD the final touch.
It is worth the money. There is also no need to get extra themes - the installed one is great.
I can recommend to use the new SBP keyboard,too.
Althoug the HTC keyboard is very good, the SBP one is better and has also a rumble feedback when touching a key !

does SPB keyboard have the left/right and up/down navigation buttons that appear on the bottom of the HTC keyboards?

I have tried SPB pocket plus. It's a nice program, but it has a problem with drop down menues too
When editing or customizing the tabs (for eg. tab Home), the "Categories" drop down menu doesn't show other possibilities like Programs,... It shows just Indicators.

sorry dont know where is problem in my diamond its working fine
install to internal storage, try turn off touch flo for a while.. may be it just needs more memory

unfortunately, thank you for tip does not go, however, yet. if it anew instal immediately sometimes and looks sometimes whether it goes then!!

So I have look for the internet, and I don't remember but I see a img like the today on WM6.5 with the weather is on the list, and have clouds and more 4 days in line.
So i create this topic to everybody, help other persons have Diamond (like me) and use WM 6.5
So I need know somethings.
1. I don't like the msn weather, How I can use the wheather in the today ?
2. How I put just one soft button on the screen, just CONTACT's or PHONE, cause mine's appear SecondToday / Contacts
How I change this?
3. What is the pixel of the screen on WM6.5? cause mine backgrounds don't fix in correctly in the screen?

Hello Bulut, ofcourse we want to help you.....although your questions are not very hard to find....
1 Themes for your device should be QVGA or re-size them to 240x320 (PNG format).
2 What is all that stuff about Manila? Depends a bit what you want to know.....in general you can say that it is an additional layer on top of window mobile to control your device.....with functionality like slider bar etc. etc.
In the manual of your phone you can find a lot of info or on XDA ofcourse. You can download manual here...http://www.htc.com/www/userguide.aspx?p_id=291
3 Use M2DC. This program let's you easily change home screen and that of all tab's; use "background" in M2DC and select the theme you have put in folder of your device.

what settings did you change mate? go to M2DC and on the second to last tab click "restore settings"

Hello Bulut,
- You should take M2DC version 0.29.235 = latest.
When you only install M2DC nothing happens to the theme you have already installed.
First back-up you current theme (and settings) before installing a new one.
From picture see that you have a custom theme installed. Where did you get it from?
It can happen that a theme although suited for your device will not work. Happened to me ones. I deleted it and went on to find a new one.
- In my Rom the fav. does not work well either.....but I have a custom Rom...perhaps somebody can react to this.
