Quick question about skinning

Did some searching and didn't find anything that seemed to be of use.
How do you make a skin for the dialpad? Either reskinning one or making one from scratch? Seems like I'm the only guy who doesn't know

What to do with Manila files?

Ok. I have done a good deal of searching and would have rather figured this out for myself, but I am not finding the information that I need.
I know for themes all you have to do is zip the manila files then change the extention to .theme. Now, for clocks, icons, and just about everything else, what do you do with the manila files? Are they dragged into the Windows folder on the phone?
I think I saw a thread here at one time that actually said what to do with them. Maybe it was at ppcgeeks. I dont remember. I dont need, or want, someone to hold my hand through this. I wanna learn. If someone knows the thread I am referring to could you please link it? I am just trying to learn as much as I can about this stuff. Thanks.

Get Manila Customizer.

Newbie needs help "pimping" his diamond.

Good morning all.
Basically as the title says, I need help customizing my diamond. I've had it a while and am getting pretty bored of the same old TF3D home screen etc. I've looked over all your designs etc and they are pretty dam good.
I would like to customize mine but have absolutely no idea where to start, if any of you could give me an idea on where to start and what to install etc, that would be great.

The search bar is ur bestest best friend. But to help out, any post with [THE] before it is theme-related, and [WALL] tends to be wallpapers. You can achieve virtually any look for your Diamond by combining different apps. Here's a good link to get you started:

i started with manila editor to create my own custom slider bar and icons
and dl-ed some dll's for the taskbar and used someone elses clock from a forum

I started with installing A.Z.T.O.R.
got myself Manilla
Downloaded some nice themes etc.
atm i am looking for a program wich makes it posible to give all tabs in TF3D a nice background instead of just the Today screen

Easiest way I found was to get yourself some .cabs, easy install and uninstall.
Almost idiot proof! (well I worked them)
They're dotted around everywhere on these forums, just look in clocks, customizing taskbar, etc. threads....oh, and remember to thank the creator.

Noob here needing help

Im new to this forum, never done much messing about with smart phones I get by with pcs.
I got an x1i yesterday so far ive got TF3D working installed a couple of panels, xperia tweak. I installed diamond tf3d config and i keep getting an unexpected error when i try to open it. Everything else im relatively happy with. But at the moment im unable to change backgrounds or themes, if someone has the time i would really appreciate an idiots guide to changing themes and backgrounds on tf3d. And i mean idiots guide, I have looked for a guide but the one i found kept getting a 404.
So from start to finish if you have the time or patience thanks, any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance

Changing backgrounds in TF3d is easy, just go to the settings tab and hit wallpaper, then search for the pic you want on your phone and select it.
If your looking for wallpapers you can start with my thread HERE, these are all formated to fit TF3d nicely.
to get the background to show up in all tabs, I recommend using mun_rus's mUn background4allpages.cab There are also several applications out there for further modding your phones appearance, I suggest using the Forum's Search feature, your bound to find some useful info.

Yeh, go into the install folder and delete the file tweaks.xml then run the app again. will work now

transparent search bar background

Hello everyone,
Im rather new here.
I did search about 50435940 times before making this post but I didn't find what I was looking for. I have the tmo stock 6.5 rom with I think manila 2.1, anyway I am looking for the background to be transparent behind the search bar on the internet tab.
Like whats on this thread /showthread.php?t=630402 (still not allowed to post links I guess ... ) only for tf3d 2.1. I looked through a little bit of code on the device as well, and I looked through that cab file in hopes of finding something similar to tweak, but I remain puzzled at how to do this... or where to find the correct file to get started. There seems to be ALOT of manila files.
Any help or pointing me in the right direction is appreciated. Thanks everyone.
