Conatcts appearing in SMS Messages

When I receive some SMS messages, a contact is added at the end od the message. Something like this:
Will see you tomorrow then. <James/M>
Where the message is 'Will see you tomorrow then.' I don't know why the <James/M> comes on.
Could it be because I am using PI2007?
Anyone knows how to overcome this problem?

same here...though it has occured only once, that too when i got a msg from my service provider!!!
and i'm using PI2007 to, might be a connection there

picture messaging problem?

Today I sent a picture message to somebody and it sent the same message 6 times on it's own,they called me and told me so I checked messages and it showed that the pic message was still sending so I deleted it and it stopped.I experimented by sending it to my girls phone and the same thing happened,I don't know how many times it would of send it if I didn't delete it.I'm wondering if it's a rc33 problem cuz I never experienced this with the previous versions,has this happened to anybody else.

I've had that happen a few times. Was before RC33 too. Not sure why it does that.

probelms with mms message!!

i just downloaded htc rom on my wing..its freakin awsome...but just one problem.
when i send or receive picture messages the pictures come out very small...ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS?????..

i was wondering the same thing... a friend sent me a picture of her and it was the size of a postage stamp. i don't have a problem when she emails me the pics. is there a reg hack to fix this?

[Q] SMS error

my legend have an error on SMS.
I have sent a SMS to person A, and the SMS is also display on person A's SMS dislog, but after that , person B tell me that he received it, and person A didn't receive it.
does any body have this problem??
and how to slove it??

I've read about this in some news which says that it is a official failure by Google.

Yeah i've been there too.
If you long-press on the message that went wrong and select info, then you will see what number the sms went to for real.
This started when I used an app (think it was SMS Popup).
Now I only use handcent and haven't seen this problem since.

Android bug. Nothing you can do really except if you use a third party messaging app. Wait for a fix from Google.

Picture message problem

Hey everyone
I was wondering is anyone else having this problem I am. I have tried multiple ROMs and still this has remained constant. I have had multipul people send me picture messages and most of the time my phone tells me i get some sort of message but when I click the notification there is nothing there and it takes me to the new message field. Idk if its something I doing or what but please need help.

I get this too. Mostly if someone uses an email to send an MMS to my phone number. But sometimes it's regular cell phones

My Nexus doesn't care for some things sent from iphones, for instance, contact cards ad slide shows. I just assumed it was an incompatibility between formats.

I seem to be having the same problem it shows me a notification for the message but when clicked on it sends me to the compose no message or the original msg thread.

For me what seems to be the issue is I turn off data or have wifi on and the message wont come through
