Storing Messages under Memory Card?

Hi...
Does anybody know how to set all the messages to be stored under Memorty card instead Main Memory or Extended Memory?... Since I receive lots of MMS Message I am running out of Message storage, I set that Store Attachments under Memory card also, still no difference.
Another thing... Is it only me having prob of freezing once in a while when I try to open Text Message or its with everyone?...

SMS to storage card

I know there's a lot of programs that let you back up and manage your sms on a storage card or desktop - but what I'm wondering is if there is a way to make incoming/outgoing SMS' stored directly into the storage card rather than taking up space on the device by default?
I've done a search on this but couldn't find anything.

when the device is off sd interface is 100% disabled to save batt

So what you're saying is that there is no way to make the default sms messages to be stored onto storage rather than system?
Do you guys periodically delete all sms' on your ppc to save space? Or are these sms' really insignificant in terms of space taken up?

i guess if one did a program which would hook to the dll that recieve sms's
and when the device had sd contact it could move the sms to the sd card
and display all sms's moved there
but it could be issues with the sms's being in that db structure
i delete sms's i read unless i need to keep them for some reason
rarely have more then 7sms's in my box
sms's are pure text so they really should not take up that much room
if it's ascii 8bit per char and 16 if it's unicode
an ascii sms is 160chars and as 8bit is a byte
it's 160bytes pr. sms
you need alot of those for the storage to get full
of cause irl an sms stored would prob end up a bit bigger
if for no other reason that the sectors of the storage will prob not
save that small values

Copying texy messages to a memory card

Please how do i copy my text messages to a memory Card or view them in my computer. I change phones periodically and i have important text messages i want to keep.

Is this possible?
Am using "Microsoft® My Phone" to backup all my messages and stuff.

Nexus 4 sms saving into sim card.

Hello there,
I am facing a strange issue in my nexus 4. Its related to SMS that i receive. Issue is all the message i receive gets save in internal memory,but messages from one particular contact is getting saved in SIM MEMORY every time, which is eating up sim memory and once SIM memory is full i phone asks me to delete sim message to recieve another message. And ITS HAPPENING WITH ONLY ONE CONTACT NOT WITH ALL CONTACTS IN MY PHONEBOOK.

Have you looked in the settings of the messaging app? There's an option to Manage SIM card messages under Text (SMS) messages.

Yes that setting only shows the SMS present in SIM. So whenever i receive any SMS from that contact it goes to SIM and I go to MANAGE SIM CARD MESSAGE setting and delete all the SMS. And again if I receive SMS from contact it goes and stors again in SIM.
I even deleted all SMS and even that contact and its call history, but again its getting saved in SIM for that particular contact. For rest its storing in internal memory.
