World 1st Uni WM5 Support 8GB Class 6 SDHC
Since so many friends like PsiDoc's Matrix Final ROM, so i rebuild for support SDHC card.
I have already try on it, my 8GB SDHC card work stable and no standby & wake-up problem ( So many time tested ), can display & access all folder & files ( So many time reset tested ).
Below are my SDHC Info :
Transcend 8GB SDHC Class 6
Already Partition in 2 drive ( 4GB + 4GB )
1st Partition already used up 3102.26 MB
2nd Partition already used up 2041.03 MB
P.S. If after flashed can't detect your SDHC card, pls soft reset your device.

This is my 1st time kitchen ROM, this ROM are based on KDS Kamal Ultimate to rebuild.
This is English Version but can support Chinese Word, main point is can support 8GB Class 6 SDHC which i already used for more than 3 month and stable until now. But my 8GB card already partition in 2 drive, so i can't test without partition can work or not ? ( I think should be no problem )

hi, to read the memory sdhc from 8 jig has had to install qulche patch or the rom it is already ready.that is as soon as do you install the rom she already reads the sdhcs from 8 gb?or you must install some patches

Well,if this rom can install the Microsoft Chinese Input,I'll be happy

Once you flash the ROM, already can support 8GB SDHC. No need to extra install cab file !

I've tested your ROM & my 4G SDHC works like a charm. no suddenly lost or hidden file/folder occurs. no need to apply any SDHC patch or reset required. Happy withyour rom its just that i miss the smart dialing coz i use it alot. Iknow there is a lot of 3rd party out there but it consume storage & Ram memory and some application such as handy toy dialer, CB dialer & EZ dialer doesn't show the correct resolution for VGA (need to find the VGA theme) so it's quite tidious Anyhow if you could cook the ROM with a smart dialing would be really great.
Other thing is the SMS threaded. It would be nice to have it to. i tried Vito SMS chat but its not so useful as the WM6.1 sms threaded. Anyway thanks again for your updated SDHC WM5 Rom.

WWE OS ROM image in booloader sd-card backup format, patched to reach the following result:
1. ExtROM completely removed out from flash memory
2. Space of ExtROM joined to \Storage part of Magician memory, makes it extended as up, as 26,72Mb, fully readable and writable
How to use it:
Fully backup you Magician (will be hard reseted), copy all files from ExtROM and \Storage card to SD-card 'cause they will be formatted !
Use downloaded image as SD ROM Image, using well-described procedure from xda-developers.com ftp site at \magician\backup1
Description at file Procedure.doc, but i don't know whos author (great thx to him)
write attached image image to SD card, flash you Magician and enjoy !
This patch is really safe - don't worry.
Note: if you will up/downgrade you OS ROM to non-patched version, before flashing you MUST back-up all files from \Storage folder \cause it's size returns to original 7,6Mb.
For more ease use of this new feature i give results of my explorations to my brother, which now studing computer sciense in NZ
- he promise to write useful program to enable this feature much more easy way and flexibly divide space between ExtROM and\Storage parts.
But, before he write such program, i will patch new Magician OS ROMs as soon, as they will be appears at xda-developers.com.

deoli, ExtROM and \Storage is a similar type, it is flash memory.
it's cannot be joined with main (RAM) memory.
only one way - it's develop some kind of swap/paging memory driver, but it's significantly degrade device performance - so is not good idea

its not so easy to give exactly algoritm how to find this bytes in unknown os rom, and playing with rom may be dangerous for unexpirienced user, so i still cant post info, may be later

It's working with shipped ROM and HTC sdhc driver. But it could not be detected with this ROM.

There is a little bug with pim.vol in this build (only with contacts from SIM). You can apply patch, which restore another pim.vol.
Install patch:
- backup your contacts (you can use Jeyo Mobile Companion), because this patch erase all contacts from phone (not from sim)
- apply patch
- restore your contacts.

Usually 8-9 mb. Leak of memory is small (after 11 days without reboot it will be 5-6 mb). Another screenshots I put lately.

Compared to andot's WM6 ROM, I have some concerns first before I try.
1. Is this more robust and responsive?I mean menu loading, and especially Messages and Contacts loading, is this faster?
2. Also is this in a near Vanilla version?I mean more or less it contains ALL the default applications that WM6 includes?Not just some replacements?
3. Is this AKU more latest than what andot used?
I am currently using andot's ROM, but I am having so much doubt that he is cooking a new and improved version since it is now killing me about the lagging and everything.

1) Hm, for me is better because include latest AKU (I port it to typhoon), no chinese, coolcamera works fine and more.
2) If you send me German language pack (for kitchen), I will make German build

1. May be no more faster because it depend on cpu, my rom no have unnecessary components and settings.
2. In my rom you don't find: STK, windows life, office, ... because it don't work (STK) or you can install separately (windows life, office), my rom include codecs for wmp, MMS and more.
3. Yes, andot used AKU 0.4.0 (18120.0.4.0 v.5.2.1616), my version is AKU 0.5.0 (18165.0.5.0 v.5.2.1711)

Cleartype have included in ROM and have activated yet. Choose other java-machine.

Buy the "softick card export" or use the free "wm5storage".
Usb to pc has compatibility driver issues on polaris ....just.. ignore it

I don't remeber exactly but there is only one ROM exist with this programm working good. I think this is M-Amine 2.0 or shecar's rom
sorry guys, wm5torage only worked a few times with my polaris then it went back to normal. i installed v1.8 then stupidly decided to upgrade to the latest 1.92x.
So if you want to give 1.8 ago.. . it might work

I have read that people frequently said to forget it due to driver compatibility, similar situation in Kaiser, Polaris as well as Niki. But it is only Sundream I believe who understand the secret of the recipe - he got it working on Niki wm6.5 rom

yup a LITE version... meaning a bigger PROGRAM memory (which is MORE important) instead of STORAGE memory... so please don't include apps that can be installed on the microSD card... remove Office, Opera, Voice Commander, Google Maps, Manila 2D and other 3rd-party software, icons and themes (all of these can be downloaded from XDA) ....
just make it simple please.

yup as i have cooked its lighting fast (Faster than wm 6.1) but i cant share coz it has no bluetooth working i mean to solve that wifi bug i had to remove bluetooth.

yup as i have cooked its lighting fast (faster than wm 6.1) but i cant share coz it has no bluetooth working i mean to solve that wifi bug i had to remove bluetooth.

Agree, especially please don't install any Opera in your ROM. If you do that I can't install a newer version of Opera for QVGA.
