When I try to open it i got this error : Windows sidebar is managed by your system adminstrator .............!!!!!! any help
I had this too.
This solved it for me -
* Click Start, type gpedit.msc in the Search box, and press ENTER
* Navigate to the following branch:
Computer Configuration | Administrative Templates | Windows Components | Windows Sidebar
* Double-click Turn off Windows Sidebar
* Set it as Not Configured
* Repeat the same in the following branch:
User Configuration | Administrative Templates | Windows Components | Windows Sidebar
* Close the Group Policy Editor window.
Important: If it's already set to Not Configured, set it to Enabled and click Apply. Then repeat the steps and revert the setting back to Not Configured. This removes the registry based policy if set already.
I set the windows sidebar turn off disable both for computer config and user config and it's done. Windows sidebar is there now.

Hi all,
Need help on the following issue.
I have install Exchange 2003 on Server 2003 and is working well, OWA & OMA
on my O2 XDA IIi. But when i install the Windows Sharepoint Service on the
same server and configure as per the documentation
(http://support.microsoft.com/kb/823265/en-us).
With the article i'm able to get my OWA up and running but not able for
OMA, maybe i do not really understand the last portion of the article. Can
someone kindly advice me on what i should be doing to get my OMA up and
running.
I believe that it's pointing to my root of the IIS which is the Windows
Sharepoint service.
Error from my Activesync

If you must use Outlook Mobile Access with Microsoft Windows SharePoint
Services, you must complete an extra step, in addition to not including
the OMA path, to make this virtual directory accessible. Open the OMA
Web.config file located at the following path
\Program Files\Exchsrvr\OMA\browse\Web.config
and add the following directives in the Web.config between
<system.Web></system.Web>. Add these directives immediately after
<system.Web> to keep it as simple as possible:
<!--
Clear out the WSS ASP.Net handler and specify the default ASP.Net
handler for all pages
-->
<httpHandlers>
<clear />
<add verb="*" path="*.aspx" type="System.Web.UI.PageHandlerFactory,
System.Web, Version=1.0.5000.0, Culture=neutral,
PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a" />
</httpHandlers>
<!--
Set the trust back to Full. WSS configures a very restrictive
trust policy that does not allow OMA to run correctly.
-->
<trust level="Full" originUrl="" />
<!--
Enable the session module. This can also be enabled on the WSS
Web.config, but is not enabled by default.
If you receive the following message:
Parser Error Message: The module 'Session' is already in the
application and cannot be added again
You can remove the following <httpModules></httpModules> section as
session is already enabled on the virtual server
-->
<httpModules>
<add name="Session"
type="System.Web.SessionState.SessionStateModule"/>
</httpModules>
<pages enableSessionState="true" enableViewState="true"
enableViewStateMac="true" validateRequest="false" />
After you add the directives to the Web.config, save the file.

Hello, I have a spv m2000.
I try to instal windows mobile 6.1 on spv m2000, but i can't connect BA to pc in Bootloader mode with windows vista. I try all metods that are describle in ( http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Blueangel_WM6_WizzardUpgrade4_Vista ), but i haven't success.
But now, when i turn on device, i see that i loose many programs (PVPlayer, Album, WESTTEK Native Office Viewers and Orange configurations).
how can I return to these programs?
sorry my bad english, but english isn't my motherlanguage.
regards
Well
I dont have vista but in bootloader you dont need to sync it you just need the drivers... maybe your WMDC is not updated... check it out...
I have WMDC version 6.1.6965 and I install drivers for my vista 32bits
can you xplain it?
So... can you xplain where did you get stucked?
maybe the error that the RUU shows you?
or what else... has happening to your device please?
Edit: Xplain all detail please... to see if anybody can help here...
or you just need a XP pc... is suggested to everybody here.
whell, i follow step by step the tutorial.
1. I install xda-developers_Unlocker.CAB
2. Then go to start -> Programs -> ExtROM tools -> then first run "unhide", then "Unlock".
3. Do a soft reset.
4. Once your BA is restarted, locate the Repart_DOC.exe file with your filemanager and start it.
5. Set the size of Extended ROM to 128 kb (which is already the default).
7. I press "format now!"
8. Soft reset your BA.
after I download vista 32 bits (driver)
9. Extract the contents to a folder on your desktop, to "AS_DRIVERS" folder.
10. I put your device into Bootloader mode by pressing and hold the "Power" & "Record" buttons, and then press the Reset Button.
11. Connect the phone to the sync cable/cradle USB;
12. Now navigate into the WMDC (Start -> All Programs -> Windows Mobile Device Center)
* Click on the "connection settings" menu icon
* In the connection settings menu uncheck "allow USB connections" then press OK.
* Now exit the WMDC and return to the desktop
13. Go into the start menu and type "Services", this will take you into the local services dialogue and show a list of all services either running or registered with your pc.
* Scroll down the list and make sure these services are present:
* Windows Mobile-based connectivity
* Windows Mobile 2003-based connectivity
* If these services are not started then double click each one and set them to Automatic start by clicking the "startup-type" drop-down menu and selecting automatic then click the start button in the same window, apply the setting by pressing OK.
* Return back to the desktop again
14. Go into the start menu and type "Device Manager" then run, this will take you into the device manager.
* Click the "+" symbol next to "Mobile Devices" and double click on "HTC USB Sync".
* This will bring up the properties of the currently connected device.
* Go to the "Driver" tab and click "Update Driver".
* Click "Browse My Computer for Driver Software".
* Select "Let me pick from a list...."
* Click the "Have Disk" button.
* Click "Browse" and navigate to the AS_DRIVERS folder we created earlier.
*
Now select your file
o Vista 32bit users select the file "wceusbsh.inf"
o Vista 64bit users select the file "wceusbshx64.inf"
* Then click Open.
* Click next and the driver will be installed (wait a moment).
* Press close and escape back to the desktop now.
---ยป In this step that i have problems
9. Now we must stop the WMDC process
* Start the task manager by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Escape.
* Click the WMDC line and click "End Process". In the confirmation window, again press End Process.
* Now re-enter the WMDC and re-enable USB connections (click connection settings and check the box "enable USB connections").
my BA doesn't appears in WMDC, i don't have any conection with BA in bootloader mode
I thinks that problem is in extRom.
The BA cannot instalt the extRom program
I was reading and searching, when i saw this:
Some Windows Mobile smartphones have a safety lock that prevents the installation of "non-certified" (eg MIGSoft SmartTweaks) or editing the content of the record. But beware: this block has nothing to do with those that prevent the use of a device outside of a particular operator.
To perform the unlock, just change two registry keys using a registry editor (but read the specific topic on hacks and the care you must have):
1. Go to: hkey_local_machine \ security \ policies \ policies
2. Change the value of key "00001005" to "40" (without quotes);
3. Change the value of key "00001001" to "1" (without quotes);
In my first Motorola MotoQ CDMA Windows Mobile 5.0 could make this change without any major problems. However, after returning from service, which has changed the board and the ROM version of the device, this key Windows Mobile could not be changed. After some research, I found the procedure that allows the release of ROMs where the editing of this registry key can not be changed - by remembering that this is a hack I'm not responsible for any damage that might do to the system. Test at your own risk:
1. Download and install Device Security Manager Powertoy for Windows Mobile 5.0 from Microsoft. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...8c-d587-47e0-908b-09fee6ea517a&displaylang=en
This application shows the type of security policy in the existing Windows Mobile device connected to the PC. Warning:
this software crashes on Vista, but you can use it according to the desired result;
2. Connect the Q to the PC, wait for sync and run the program. You will see "two tier" in the "security policy" if the device has the protection of editing the registry;
3. Download the file secpolicies.cab http://sems.org/content/download/secpolicies.cab amending the security policy. This file is from Telus States
United States;
4. Install the file, moving it into the device and using the file manager of Windows Mobile, click it (run it);
5. Run the application again Device Security Manager Powertoy for Windows Mobile that should now show the value "tier one".
It is done.

Hello,
It's been 6 months since I'm looking for a solution to run the MMS on my mobile LG-E900 (Optimus 7) Windows Phone 7 (OS version: 7.10.8862.144).
The phone came with the Orange network and I use it now with Free Mobile card. Internet access works well but I can not send or receive MMS (despite the activation mode "Data Connections".)
- when I send an MMS, I get the message "Sending message impossible. Retry. "
- when I get an MMS and I click on the link "Get media content", there is a message "Getting media content" and then redisplay the link "Get media content" and nothing happens .
Having looked around many forums, I tried several solutions without success:
1 - put me near a Free Mobile antenna array and send me an MMS: unsuccessfully
2 - change the APN settings: for the moment, I 'have the following settings: APN = free, Username = "" Password = "", Proxy Server / URL = "", Proxy Port = ""
3 - try inserting a card and Orange launch the application "Network settings" (version 3.0.3.0) as described here: http://www.monwindowsphone.com/solution-mms-free-mobile-omnia-7-t14550.html. This does not work because I do not see profile when using a Free Orange card.
4 - change the table registry as described here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=16363034&postcount=3
I heard that a solution would be to get the XML config file for Free Mobile but I don't know how to get it and how to use it...
I confess that I am discouraged and a solution in this Christmas season would make me happy. Thanks in advance for your time and help!
Happy Holidays! Gigi

[SOLVED] Request to Santa: MMS on LG-E900 with Free Mobile network !
It works !!!
Thanks a lot for your great help ! After several months without MMS on my LG Optimus 7 with Free Mobile, now MMS are usable on it thanks to your solution below.
I just launched DiagProvXML on my phone between step 4 and step 5 in order to make step 5 working. I just precised also that lockscreen of your mobile must be off during steps after 4.
Santa came as I wished
I am going to send your solution on french forums : http://www.monwindowsphone.com and http://www.windowsphonefr.com/forum

Hi, welcome to CustomPFD Remote! This is a new tool that allows you to edit your phone registry values from your Windows 10 device, just
- connect your phone with CustomPFD and your Windows 10 device with CustomPFD remote within the same WLAN
- get the IPort values from CustomPFD (slide to "Tweaks Page" and choose "Enable remote connection")
- put them within CustomPFD Remote and press "try connection"
Latest release: 1.0 BETA
This is the first release and there will be some errors. Please advice me if there's any important error or bug
This app AD supported. You can remote the ADs with an in-app purchase. That's a good way to support my work
F.A.Q.
Q - CustomPFD Remote needs an interop-unlocked Windows 10 device?
A - No, don't worry. This app can't edit or hurt sensible system files or registry values within your WIndows 10 device. Only the device with CustomPFD will get the hacks
Q - I see more than one IP, which one is correct?
A - Just check within WiFi settings. Tap on your WiFi newtork name (or SSID) and check the IP Address
Q - How I can close the connection between CustomPFD and CustomPFD Remote?
A - Just close CustomPFD from task manager. Connection is only "on request" and your phone is in listening mode only within the "Remote App" section
Q - The app doesn't not show any value or isn't responding
A - Be sure that your phone is unlocked andis showing the "Remote app" screen. Don't tap too much if the app doesn't respond, because actions get stacked and you may damage your registry values. I advice you to remote the lockscreen timeout.

I cant get update 006 custompfd to install ...but 003 installs fine ...using 950, full mtp access, but for some reason I'm limitd to 20 unsigned apps and cant change the value, only have about 4 anyway. I read somewhere that splashscreen enty in an xml could cause the error but have no idea what to do, the guy that owns the thread (you lol) says the errors related to the fact I'm not interop unlocked yet other packages including the003 package deploy fine.
Thank for this app ! keep going ahead !
