Cyberon Voice Commander - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

Hi guys,
My Dopod 838 comes with a Cyberon Voice Commander which I find really useful.
The thing is, I havent been able to find its CAB file anywhere in the forums. I recently found one which is version 1.2... but Its just a voice dialer, it doesnt read SMS messages like mine does.
Ild like to install it to a T-mobile MDA phone I just bought. Is there a way to rip the application off my other phone?

Maybe give Voice Command a try?
I haven't used Dopod, but I've found MS Voice Command to be really helpful. I use it along with my bluetooth headset in the car. You can also get it to announce callers to you.
Not that I generally go around recommending the MS versions!
Cheers,

Best Voice dial software ?

Hi Guys, i know hat this forum has alot of different voice command software scattered all over the place.
I just wondered what people thought was the best one for the xda exec (using bluetooth headset) to activate.
I have tried MS voice Command, which is very accurate but does not switch off the BT connection once it closes it's voice rec system. This means that all system audio is then send to your headset until you manually switch it off with the button.
I like the Cyberon voice dial app supplied but having to create voice tags for everything is a pain
I cannot get Cyberon Voice Commander 1.5 to install correctly and the version on xda-dev's ftp site is chinese
I want to know what people think of Fonix apps, Voice Dial 2.0 seems okay but is limited to only dialing, no full control so would like to try fonix voice central 3.0 buit cannot find anywhere to download this.
what do you guys think.....which do you use (if any) and which do you think is best ?

Cingular 8125 Voice Dialing on Sprint PPC-6700

I need the .exe or .cab file from the voice dialing program that the Cingular 8125 uses. My girlfriend has the Sprint PPC-6700 and whenever she sees me use the voice dial feature she goes "ahh I want that too!" Is it possible to download somewhere and install on her PPC-6700 so she too can use the feature?
Thanks.

I know about that... but I wanted to see if I could get the Cingular 8125 app instead of that. Thanks though.
It is called Cyberon Speed Dial.
You will have to google around for it though.
(Might also find it flying around here...).
Get the AKU2 Update from Sprint
A simple Google search revaled that the Cyberon Voice Dialer is included in the AKU2 Update for that device..
MS Voice Command is 100 times better though.

Is there a way to make voice dial not repeat what I say?

When I want to use voice dial I say the name of the person I want it to dial, then it repeats what I've said back at me. I find that really annoying for some reason. Is there a way to make it just dial without repeating what I've said first?
if ur using voice command u can uncheck the 'confirm' option but u may call the wrong person sometimes if u dont pronouce it clearly
where is the "confirm" option, I can't find it anywhere...
Only MS Voice Commander not the default WM5 one

There seems to be much confusion regarding Voice Dialing software. There are three versions:
CVD - Cyberon Voice Dial (comes installed on Cingular 8125 and some other WM5 Phones)
CVC - Cyberon Voice Commander (the Retail Version and big brother to CVD)
MSVC - Microsoft Voice Command
The low down on these (this is my opinion based on using all three)
CVD isn't worth what they charge for it (yes I know it's free)...
1. You have to specifically record voice tags for each contact.
2. It only does dialing, no PDA functionas included.
CVC is cheap at on $15.00 and has a couple of functions that are nice like reading SMS messages to you and OEM integration with your bluetooth headset but I don't like it because...
1. The initial delay and waiting for the voice to prompt you is just too long.
2. Voice recgonition is spotty.
MSVC is the luxury version of these programs. With a little hacking you can get it to play with your bluetooth headset (mostly). It is fairly quick to be ready for your voice command (just wait for the beep). Finally it has the best voice recgonition of the three. The downside of MSVC...
1. It costs $40.00 but I've been using it for almost a year (bought it from Handango when they e-mailed me a 20% off coupon) and it's worth every penny.

Thank you for that good and clear explanation. Always wondered the main differences.

dopod voice command

Hi im using an orange spv m5000 but i would like to install the dopod rom's voice commander as i only have a silly voice dial on the orange rom.
is there anyone who can extract the voice commander so i can install it on my spv?
cheers
You could always use Microsoft Voice Command. It'll cost you either your money or sense of, say, ethics, though.

Voice Dialing

Hi. I recently upgraded my M3100 to WM6. I can't get on with Voice Commander or Voice Command. They mainly dial the wrong numbers. Is it possible to re-install the simple voice dialer that came with my Orange M3100 on WM5? I like the simple assignment of voice tags and it works well with my BT headset. I have searched but can't find anything.
Regards
Tom
