There's a bundle of splash screen changing methods in the forums (particularly Kaiser, Wizard and Prophet). Has anyone used these on the Poalris yet? Many suggest they’re not compatible.
Thanks

Hy all
Anybody figured already something out about the splashscreen in jasjar?
Can everyone change their splash screens of their device, using a wm2005 splash screen or is this done differently? for my Blueangel i am not able to change the screens in /windows nor /my documents, I did not see them on the extended rom of jasjar.
Anybody can give me a hint?
i would look at the threads about splashscreens for 2005 for himalaya and blue angel
and asume that it's handled the same way on universal
only of cause the resolution being 2 times as big

Click to collapse
Thats the problem, wm2005 seems to locate them somewhere else for the Blueangel, it is not handled the same way as wm2003 on blueangel or wm2003 on himalaya or wm2005 on himalaya.
So witch one works for the Jasjar, none!!?
OK I am still using windows mobile five due to work related reasons. Hopefully they will upgrade my active sync to a WM6 compatible version so I can upgrade. I am trying rlToday and the TouchLike theme. It looks really good... Well what I can see of it. But everything is very big.
I have looked around and the 8125 is suppose to be QVGA... or am I mistaken? I have tried themes for WA, SBSH, SPB, ... but it seems like all QVGA themes turn out to be very large on my screen and unusable. I then try the VGA themes and they are the same way. Am I doint something wrong? is the 8125 a non-VGA PDA? do I have to turn something on?
I have been searching these forms for a week or so now and can not find anything.
Best Regards,
SoBBie
The 8125 is definitely a QVGA device. Not to be insulting, but you are for sure installing QVGA themes? I would think if something were wacky with your device everything would look "wrong."
Wizard is definately a QVGA screen.. when you have thing bigger than your screen, chances are, you are using a VGA program/theme/skin. Think, a 640x480 stuff inside a 320x240.. bigger on which screen?
I've just got my second refurbished V1605 (HTC TyTn) back from Vodafone.
Voda install a load of customisation software when you do your first boot. One of the things this does is take away almost all of the useful stuff you can put on the Today screen and replaces it with Vodafone apps. In particular, I like to have my Tasks list on the Today screen, but thanks to the Voda customisation, Tasks no longer even appears in the list of Today items under Settings>Today>Items.
Does anyone know how to uninstall the Vodafone customsation software or is there a registry hack to put Tasks back on the Today screen?
For info, my first TyTn from Voda had this issue. My second one appeared to have a more recent version of WM5 installed (green splash screen with a "direct push technology" logo). On this one, all the usual WM5 Today screen items as well as the Voda apps were available. Now my third TyTn has gone back to the previous version of WM5 and the issue is back. I don't know is VOda are shipping replacement phones out with different OS versions, or whether my second phone had been updated by a user, or whatever, but I don't fancy trying to explain any of the above to the infinite number of monkeys working on their "help" line!
Hi fellas, i am sure there are many of us like me, who are lookin' for Official ROM Splash Screens (if Official ROM is unavailable), particularly while sellin' off the phone.
I have extracted splash screens of O2, Dopod, Vodafone, Orange, Q-Tek, I-mate, T-mobile, & few are my customized ones.
I am posting 'em in 320x240(quite common) and 640x480(b'cuz i am usin' Universal).
I am sure you can edit 640x480 into your own required screen resolution, in case your phone is not 320x240.
Since i am unable to post it here, b'cuz of some account-related problem, i am postin' it on Rapidshare. It's an 1 MB file. Lemme know, in case you are unable to download it, i will mail it to you.
This is the link:

Hope it helps, Adieu
good work thanks
Hi,
This has probably been answered before, but I can't find the answer.
My girlfriend has just purchased a Touch Dual (T Mobile) today, and would like to change the colour of the clock digits.
I kindly obliged by photoshopping a set from the HHC collection, and made them black.
I tried to copy them into the Windows directory, but it would not let me overwrite the existing files.
How do I do this?
I have had a couple of HTC devices before, and currently have a Kaiser.
I have never had this problem before, but have never had the HTC Home built into the stock ROM.
Any help you guys can give would be HUGELY appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
