Hey guys ....just got my Samsung i780.
Ive set it to the lowest font size within the menu under screen.
But still the font size to me is too big.
Are there any apps/tweaks out there which will allow changing of the font sizes?

after install realVGA, my i780 can't make or receive VIDEO CALL
If it is still too big, try a different font.

Go to settings - system - screen and hit the text size tab. Then you can adjust it.

I'm an O2 Xda Atom Life user and I'm using the ROM Xda_Atom_Life_WM6_CHT_RC2140907B2. I have a problem with the Windows Live Today plugin, 'cause the fonts are too large and they use a lot of space of the Today page. How can I change the size of fonts of this plugin? I have checked the registry but I could find no way to do so.
I don't know whether this only happens in the CHT Atom Life or not, so I decided to put the thread here...

HKLM/Control panel/Stylus>96DPI....Current Font...I have large fonts and set at 1100. For smaller fonts, set lower than 1100...soft reset.

The hack should affect homescreen fonts only. There are other hacks for the system fonts.

No, I found that some font size of the system programs is smaller after hacking, e.g. Message Centre, Windows Live, words in Office Mobile programs...
But never mind, I love the font size after changing...
I've also found that the option of "Settings==>System==>Screen==>Fonts Size" changed after hacking... It seems that the registry hacking is not really necessary...?

That made no difference. Soft reset too.
It's a good question though. I don't often recieve text messages would fill the screen so a bigger font would be nice.

This only increase the font size of the official SMS software. I refer to the font size of the SMS text that is displayed inside the Message Tab of TouchFLO 3D. The suggested method has no effect on the font size for TouchFLO.

That's what I'm after too. It would make so much sense.
I spent hours trying to find a way to Increase the sms size in touch3d (it's too small for my eyes).
the only thing I found easy mun zoom for diamond BUT it doesn't work on hd. if u zoom, it only the font won't change until u scroll to another message. and it doesn't remember ur zoom preferences if u change to another touch3D tab
I think the reason the fonts are so tiny is bc they've over compensated for them being too big on diamond .
I scoured the registry for a font string associated with the messages tab but couldn't find 1.
would love to fix this problem, please help
use sms tweaker 1.5. its working well on my xperia so should work on touch hd also.

Comfirmed SMS Tweaker 1.5 has no effect. Only the official SMS software font will change.
My number one request is to INCREASE the FONT SIZE of SMS messages in the TouchFlo 3D MESSAGES TAB.
It's a great tab but the font size is too small for my eyes to read.
I've tried MUN zoom but it doesn't work properly.
I've also searched hi and low for a way to edit but no one seems to know how.
A registry tweak would be best but I can't find an option in there.
PS. It used to be too big on Diamonds so they over compensated and made it too small on the HD. It might be 'just right' on the next touch phone HTC invents!

have you tried using HD tweak? that gives you an option to change the system font size as well as the messaging font size. i found the standard fonts too small. this one works fine.

Q. Are you sure you used 'HD Tweak' to change the font size?
I can't find this setting in HD Tweak 0.5.4 (latest v).
If so, Under which heading in HD Tweak is it?
If not, which tweaking app did you use?

Yes, but this doesn't effect TouchFlo 'Messages Tab' SMS font size.
I too would like to know if this is possible. I cant see anything in Tweak HD that works.
This is also something I would like to know, the font is simply too small for such a big screen. I know Duttys Diamond Roms had the zoom feature but nothing on the HD so far...

uninstalled and rebooted the phone but the fonts are still here.
what can i do to revert this ? the installed font is a pain for my eyes.

Brilliant mate got myself a nice looking fone now ur fonts topped it right off..
Although IE shared the font and messed the web browsing up .. other than that brilliant

Hi guys,
Great work GODZOSON - however just a slight pre-warning to you all: I have tried a few of these fonts so far and some of the tabs don't display correctly.
Currently using the Hands font (It looks awesome !) but it does ruin the weather tab and you cannot see the temperatures on 'Today' - Work around is going into the 5day view and looking at it there.
Maybe the next step is to work out how to hex-edit the font sizes HMMM!

EDIT#3: Method failed. Looks like the font does need the AutoName changed for it to work correctly

Use WinCE.. It allows you 30 days free trial, you can also you the cab maker made here in xda, all you gotta do is create the ttf for TF3D, then move the files into the cab maker under files and make sure you select windows for final installment.. Once that's done just name the cab, compress it, and save.
Don't forget to share it here.. I'll place it in my post to make it easy to find.. with info on maker of font. take a pic of the screen also.
