French Rom 1.11...

Hello,
It seems the french rom 1.11 is available on the FTP (ftp://xda:[email protected]/s100 new).
The name of the file is S100_MA_DT_FRA_11102_140_11100_TEST.exe.
Does somebody know where this rom come from ?
As somebody already tried it ?

It works ! I had to try five or six times before the upgrade began but it's ok now...
There is a new tab under the bluetooth parameters...
On the splash screen, it's written 'Test version, not for sale', so don't forget the reinstall a normal splashscreen...

I use this rom actually
I think this rom is good:
the system is more speed,
the bluetooth is better ( i can use my gps bluetooth with tomtom and my bluetooth headphone in same time with a good quality in the speaker)
the radio have a good quality to listen and the signal is better
just when you make a cold/hard reset in the Splash Screens you can read "test only Not for sale"

the ROM come from DANGAARD it's a TEST ROM.
If you want there is also a 14002 ROM (next version after the 1.11 :BA_Dangaard_FRA_14002_112_11200_Test.exe
you want to test it ?

Do you have next test version for Magician?

the ROM come from DANGAARD it's a TEST ROM.
If you want there is also a 14002 ROM (next version after the 1.11 :BA_Dangaard_FRA_14002_112_11200_Test.exe

You can find a "clean" splash screen on the FTP ftp://xda:[email protected]/Magician/Splash Screens/QTEK_SPLASHSCREEN.cab
So you don't have the notification about test version...

Looking at the first 5 numbers I can guess it's "maybe" a new 1.4 succeding the 1.11
Wait 1h before you can see it on XDA FTP under \\s100 new\
But please if you did test this ROM post update over here to let us know how it's going and what is new
Each ROM is + - 40 MB, and it's certified true one not fake
Under \\s100\ you will see also the S100_MA_DT_FRA_11102_140_11100_TEST.exe
I just hope no one delete this files :lol:

If any tests the 1.4, please post feedback :wink:

I tried the 1.4 version but it seems to be a problem :
Perhaps we need an other version before using this one or the file "MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe" needs to be updated...

You must flash HardSPL first, thanks Olipro.
After unzipping the file you have downloaded, you must run the ROMUpdateUtility.exe and follow the instructions.
The ROM is fast and stable with the NetCF & SQL Mobile 3.5, 32mb Pagepool, some registry tweaks to increase performance (Font size cache 32768, File system cache set 4000k, FileSystem filter cache 2000), disable the security warning when installing non-certified application and a cleaned up 3G ICON!! Did you check DLL versions of the camera fix before echanging dll's?
I found out that Build 19209 ROMs have a newer DLL included than the fix coming from HTC, hence the 19209 Builds are newer than the fix. Did you check on that?
The fix has - afaik - version 1.50.0.0 and 19209 features CIF.DLL 1.52.0.0
I'm waiting for your upload though, it's interesting to see something new...!

Original Cif.dll is 1.25.00 ,patch from htc is 1.50.00 (included in rom)

How much RAM at the startup ???

Interesting fact, bepes ROMs (I could be wrong though) use version 1.52.0.0 which is in fact a newer build than what you posted above.
I guess he got them somewhere else and custom baked them into his ROM

The up/down and camera buttons are missing on photo page.
They need to remain in original blue (until someone finds a way to change their color without making them disappear).

I downloaded the norwegian .mui's and copied them over to \\windows together with manila2d.exe and now I only get "bank her for å starte touchflo" and when I tap it it says starting touchflo for 2 secs and then gets back. when i try to start manila2d.exe I get the message "Kan ikke åpne... Enten er den ikke signert med et klarert sertifikat, eller.....bla bla" so I suspect that file is the problem

I assume you did a soft reset?
the norwegian files works great for me, but I have not tested the way you did it, I cooked them into my rom.

I have done a soft reset, but that doesn't help. I haven't done a cid unluck or hard spl (kinda newbie - doesn't quite understand what this is...) Could it be that my phone needs some kind of unlocking to be able to run unsigned programs or something?
Skinnet er veldig stilig da - glimrende arbeid. Skulle bare fått det til å virke på min fon...

any word on when the official wm6.1update rom in norwegian will be released? dont want to nag on you, but damn! cant wait to get this rom!!

widgets need the latest version of ie, and this rom does not, v16 has the latest version of ie though...you can flash that rom instead...

Has anyone been able to install any other T9 on this ROM? Whatever solutions I try to get Norwegian I either end up with no output at all or only numbers...
Tried the following:

I have also read up on registry hacks and changing language codes, but no go.
