i was pushing the icons so i could show you the effect as to what happens when i push (was trying to move my fingers around)

Aboinger, I am also interested in exploring Ultimate Launcher. Your Athena Ultimate Launcher Interface looks so nice. How did you do that? Can you explain step by step. Cos I also installed Ultimate Launcher, but Ultimate Launcher can only slide from right to left or vice versa, functions like the "easy shortcut". But Ultimate Launcher cannot move up and down.

Landscape is supported and works perfectly fine...
my ultimate launcher is also limited from side to side / fade animations
when you are in the tabs option and hit create new it should give you an option to add in plugins / shortcuts
what exactly did u need help with id be more than happy to help

I know this is a thread to demo the UL (which I just got put on two days ago....awesome software). But boinger, I notice that you have flames on your S2U2. One: where did you get that animated background for it? Second: your S2U2 looks as if it was designed for VGA....mine looks like a stretched QVGA screen. How can i get mine crisp like yours?

yes this one is the english version
and about S2U2 i changed the graphics for vga.. you can do that simply by editing the .png's
i just changed the clock files to be honest.
and in real vga mode the slider doesnt work. so i enabled dpad support cause the screen mapping is off.
i can send you the flames gif... i got it off another member and edited it for vga.

You said editing the png's. Does that mean you changed the icons themselves, or you adjusted the values of the png to fit VGA? Just a little confused on that. Or all together, did you edit the pngs in a software such as Adobe Photoshop? If that is the case I might have to ask are you willing to share....thats a little over my head.

What sort of icon format does ultimatelaunch accept. Is it only ico? What about png format?

you can use 32bit xp icons though.. so they look just as nice... only dillema is you have to convert most icons from .png
i can upload my ico icon pack for you all if you like ?

That would be awesome if you uploaded some of your icons boinger. I'm also trying to find some to share here as well.
I'm struggling a little with the "not activated" signs in the corner. I have registered this app, and entered the code twice. Soft-reset. After a couple of minutes and some navigation, they reappear.
I searched for some answers, and it seems there isnt a fixed from what I was able to find.
Anybody else having this annoyance!!

I think I have the wrong version of S2U2. I just took the WM5 version that I used for my x51v. I say this because, I cant use gif. as a wallpaper for it. I'm assuming that I might not have the most current version.
Lastly, I have been trying to incorporate your icons, but for some reason UL will not show them when I select them. I can only use the default icons that come with them.
Any ideas!!!

I don't seem to be able to enter text for the application icon, although I can see that the config icon has a description.
What is the trick to enter this text?
I'm also unable to choose tab icon. Does tab icon got to meet certain criteria for them to work?

For this you have to click the with text button (next to the xp32 icon)

set the icon size to 72 x 72 that should work..
UL wont show icons unless they are the proper size...
and im running s2u2 .99c

Today Background Not Working

I just uninstalled cLaunch, a couple of Zombienexus themes and dialer skins, iContacts and Slide2Unlock. (Gonna reinstall and start fresh)
I'm pretty sure that it has nothing to do with it but as I am choosing a wallpaper/BG from Settings>Today >"Use this picture as the background"; It is no longer giving me a preview of the wallpaper with the slider for the opacity.
Did I delete it?
Does anybody know what I can do to fix this as all my backgrounds are washed out.

Anyone have anything on this? I'm having a similar problem. I tried to install HTC Home on mine and it locked it up. Had to do a hard-reset, then reinstalled the WM 6.1 ROM and it still doesn't give me the slider or the preview.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you set the image under settings/today, thats what you will get. For some reason it uses a transparency value (nowhere to change this here).
The best and easiest solution I have found, is to open the Camera, and view the Album. Browse to the image you want, click it and keep it pressed so that the context menu comes up, select "Set as Today Background...". This will show you the image, and allow you to set the transparency level. Set it to zero, and the image in the Today Background will look exactly as it should.

I think It's system Time... so just change it in Programs->System Clock

You connot change time, because I rename standard clock.exe to system_clock.exe and rename gentimer.exe to clock.exe. It is nessery for run gentimer from main page. Please run Programs->System Clock to adjust time.

is it possible to use this without a clock installed on the home page?
(i have applied NisseDILLIGAF's Noclock cab as i hate the manilla clock)

I really like your HTC look alike Phone-skin and HTC Calculator, but I am sorry that I must admit that I am not so happy about this one...
It is just too fancy... I would love to see just a HTC look alike skin for the current alarm page...Basically with the same options and same software behind it...
This is more a replacement alarm/clock application then a HTC skin for a default WM6.1 application, and it does not really give me the HTC feel.. Sorry.

Just a suggest:
* possible to make it "Scrolling"? Like those TouchFLO Tabs, but... of course, they are program icons...
edit: The concept like the TouchFLO tabs... those icons only take 1 row to display, so when they have more (>6 icons in my case) those icons will drawn off-screen, then a swipe (or drag) a icon horizontally scroll the row of icons to reveal those off-screen ones
This will save a lot of screen estste when people put a lot of icon inside.
edit: This piece works well with my *OLD* Asus P750...

How about having the option to add links to programs? And perhaps with parameters as well. In that case you can skip the option about doc's etc, since you can add link to any doc, program on memory cards etc. And we can freely add programs always located at the same place that are not installed after a hard reset.

Excellent app - replaces the old Eten quicklinks, which suffered greatly from "losing" entries when a new shortcut appeared in \Windows\Start Menu. EasyToday does not have this "feature"
But, SELECT is only one link at a time, you have to return to the list screen for each link that you want checked. So maybe v1.2 willallows multiple selections off the list screen ?

Like this app a lot, but have a suggestion/feature request:
Add the ability to have multiple "pages" of icons that you can flip between with a left/right swipe motion.
I know that's probably not the easiest thing to implement, but it would be awesome.
(actually just noticed Clound pretty much said the same thing -- great minds think alike!)

Second vote for this! This is a great application for those of us who prefer today screen over the touch flow.
I would like some space between the icons to make selection easier. 5 or 4 icons per row with a buffer horizontally, vertical height is fine...

Windows Mobile Unlock Screen

Do any of you who are more smart than me (all of you,) know of a .cab with the standard winmo 6.5 lock screen? The ROM I am running overwrites it with a more bland looking screen. Thanks for any and all help.

Do you have the htc version of the lockscreen? Or is it the old style ulock softkey and then ugly old style unlock button..?

The HTC, I believe. It has a white and black color scheme with rows of square number and a large rectangular unlock button. It's not the classic style with the rounded buttons, owner info, and softkey unlock.
I would like the rounded buttons with the contacts and mail shortcuts in the row of the unlock button.

Shoot... Installed and both "Classic" and "Default" look like "Classic" now. I wonder if I borked things up when I installed and then uninstalled Dusk_6.5_Lockscreen_v3.0.CAB in an attempt to get something closer to the look of the "Default".

It appears that NRG uses a registry key to redirect the lockscreen to C:\Windows\Lockscreen as opposed to the default (or I think default) C:\Windows
Restore Lock Screen - HKLM\Security\Shell\Lock\CustomLockScreensPath set to \Windows
Restarted my device and I had the old lockscreen keypad back as opposed to the HTC Leo keypad.

OMG! Spent hours trying to get my lock screen back to normal and I was ready to do a hard reset. Followed all the above worked and love having the slider lock back.
I too tried using one of the Dusk themes and it messed up some of my settings (and never worked for me). Cannot get it all uninstalled either - irritating!

can i use that path to change my lockscreen background? i'm using the dusk 6.5 lockscreen 3.0 too but want it over a different background than my dusk ga wallpaper. have tried changing the stwater cpr. but that changes the wallpaper too.

For those of us NOT using Sense 2.x, the old style screen makes some sense, because it shows the home screen - which has plugins showing information even while locked.
Having said that, I am still using the newer "slider" unlock with my SPB Pocket Plus.
