I don't have any video sorry...I remember only a samsung z500 that have this feature...but is only a phone not a pocket

la risposta è NO, in quanto lo schemo montato sull'S200 è resistivo e tutto il software è stato creato per girare su qllo.
Quindi anche, nel remoto caso che tu riesca a trovare uno schemo della stessa grandezza di quello del cell, non concluderesti nulla...
l'unico WM 6.5 con capacitivo è HTC HD2.

Hi,i think it s not fully possible but maybe it will work at least if you try the one of s100 liquid.If you looked at my thread in the s200 general section you can see the proof that an s200 touch panel could work on s100,so maybe why the s100 one could not work on s200?The guy had the touch panel exchanged by acer untill the original s100 arrived...and said that everything work except for the answer key on the left

i guess the drivers arent working or something.single touch, then device crashed. i dont know a thing about patching drivers. the screen alignment also screwed up.... on second try, my device turns really really warm. scared. bailed out... attached the original screen back...
i still have the screen (which somehow fits "almost" perfectly on the face panel. selling it.

just wandering as to what ROM you are using, im sure i read somewhere that 6.5.3+ supports multi-touch and everything previously does not, just thought i would point that out as it may be helpful

tested on wm6.5.3
on arto's sense 4.0.
also tried booting the newly compiled android by the russians. no go
it does not work.
i repeat.
it does not work.
its hardware limitation. having a capacitive ts does not mean you have capacitive controllers on board.
as far as i'm concern, its cASE closed. better hope the emulated multi touch sdk will be hacked into apps

You re right...maybe it s due to a controller incompatibility.The case that in acer s100 our f1 panel work,made me think that they share the same controller...but as you proved i was not right.So only the s100 controller support both capacitive and resistive touchscreen

what is the best resolution for the flipout?
the original resolution is too large for son application and in some menu!

Default density(120) is optimal, if you set a lesser value, all icons and status bar elements will get pixellated and distorted, if you set a larger value, icons will look OK, but all elements will get too big and program interfaces won't fit the screen and status bar elements will become pixellated and blurred.

I set it to 100... the result for me is very good
but I have a problem.... when open phone application... get error the process com.android.phone is terminated... why? O_O

Hi alessio81pa, I also tried to enlarge the screen to enter more icons, I used an app called "LCDDensity for Root" works quietly reduced to 100, but I also cause the same problem as you, all other apps they stop and say there is an error in most widgets.
In conclusion, it is a bad idea to try to do this.

io nn ho problemi con widget e non ho problemi nemmeno con altro... solo la parte telefonica non va... cmq adesso l'ho settato a 110, nn ha lo stesso effetto di metterlo a 100 ma cmq rende piu cose visibili nello schermo e la parte telefonica funziona!
comunque se qualcuno trovasse una soluzione per poterlo impostare a 100 con la parte telefonica funzionante mi fa un gradito regalo

and I have a fez questions:
1-does the device boot with windows mobile?
2-how to fix the audio problem that I've seen on that thread (I've seen the battery process "kill" but I don't want that) I'm not sure if this one is a problem in blackstone, but I'm already asking it before the install so I don't destroy the phone
3-I also heard about a wifi going off automaticaly after 2 minutes, if that happens on blackstone, hot to fix it?
4-there seems to be roofts (rootfs-20110716-245f68a.zip) and kernels(htc-msm-linux-20110718_223029-package.tar.bz2) to download in order to make it better, please tell which ones (a guy talked about the ones in red and if those are correct, how to download them and where to put the files).
5-any other available updates without counting the ones I mencioned, please tell me.
6-do we really have to use hp tool to format, can't we use the default windows tool?
7-noob question: can we delete the file saying "place startup.txt here"? I'm asking this 'cause I don't if that file will interfere with the install

Hi, I really want the android and not windows mobile, I have all the apps you mencioned but not enough for me dont forget that xda official language is english

For now the better solution is continuo with wm or buy a cheaper android device like HTC wildfire or HTC explorer ...
Without support Android will never work for daily use on HTC HD
they stoped android developement , only if we join forces and may be with money and some donation to developers but .... theres no future for HTC HD will died with Wm 6.x
I still uses may HD and it works well with some costumisation WM
WM is almost dead thanks to microsoft , for me no more Microsoft OS
HTC HD is a good phone after 4 years but now looks old , i need a new phone
WP 7.5 is ugly Android is the Future
i´m waiting for HTC OneX to buy it

I guess you are right, but I was watching the thread i've put on my thread(LOL) and the last comment is from yesterday(1/3/12) which means that some people are still interrested on this. And I don't have so much money to spend in a phone(I buyed the htc touch hd in september 2011, which was pretty dumb but I didn't knew that the OS of Microsoft was so so so so stupid and desactualized, so I was trying to use android xD

Prima problema Youtube - se deschide aplicatia, imi arata tot, e functionala. Cand dau pe un video play, sanatate, se face ecranul negru, nu am sonor dar el ruleaza. Stiu ca e facut sa nu mearga in mers, ca sa nu iti distraga atentia, dar nici cand stai pe loc... Iara, nici filme de pe stick nu pot vedea, ecran negru cu o banda mare verde sus, pe MX Player am sunet dar imagine nu, pe VLC nici sunet nici imagine. O alta problema e ca nu pot folosi cartela din navigatie ca sa sun... Era de mare ajutor asta, de aia am si luat navigatia si am platit in plus, ca sa nu mai conectez telefonul la ea si sa imi mearga toate cele de mai sus. Ce sa fac? Care e rezolvarea? Sigur sunt workaround-uri, dar eu nu le stiu. Si inca una tare - in Google Play nici nu gasc aplicatia Netflix... Ceea ce e ciudat. Va rog daca puteti sa ma ajutati. Mulțumesc anticipat
