I have try to install the microsoft_cf but this is impossible
The cf2 get a error (memory)
The 3.5 give me the indication that the ms compact framework is already installed on the rom
My software get the error on the installation because do not find sytem.windows.forms or dipendences
With different rom version(ie Pepe)I do not have this problem
I like your rom so if possible I wold like fix this error

download,unzip and overvrite this dll file into \windows dir
and try it.
if not work disable cf 3.5 and enable 2.0 whit regedit
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\.NetCompactFramework
change dword key
1 for 2.0.xxx
and 0 for 3.5.xxx

Problem with tomtom

I installed this all works Roma and the only problem that installing the tomtom unfortunately fails to see the integrated gps. You know whether it is a known bug?

ok, as we all know as fantastic as energyRom is, it is unusable on our diamond so i have made a small collection of stuff from all over this forum and it gives you the style of the EnergyROM...
thankyou to all the people who made the .cab files originally. i am not trying to pass this work off as my own, i have just put it all together.
This is tested on the ROM in my signature plus the R3 ROM aswell

[Q] ROM Cooking For HP iPAQ Hx2

I have an HP iPAQ Hx2 using the v2 of the Spiaatie WM6.5 ROM, but now I want to start cooking some ROMs to understand better about the Windows Mobile kernel, because at the time I just know it's API very well(as a developer). Then I want to know two things:
Where I can get the best kitchen to cook ROMs for it?
Where I can get the WM6.5 ROM file to customize?

I guess you need a CustomRuu.exe not the original,at least we do this way for HTC.

But there is any custom RUU for iPAQs?

1. To convert cab's to packages you can use this app [here]
2. You will need to add hTC Animation to kitchen.
3. Change classicblue_stwater_240_320.jpg, classicblue_stwater_320_240.jpg and images in Classic Blue.tsk (theme) file for example.
4. I use the same old style kitchen, as the new one does not work with iPAQ. I will not share my kitchen as I have spent many hours tuning it up and figuring things out. If you want to cook your own ROM - you will need to learn and use search a lot, same as I did years ago. And don't post unnecessary threads, if you have a question about ROM cooking for hx2000 series - post them all here.
5. You can't flash iPAQ from EBOOT mode - use PRE-BL mode and if it still does not work use RUU from my lastest ROMs.

I've been trying to find a solution for the pisition fix of the curtain of the menu enhacement. Courtains are showing a gap on the top as per the picture:

This is happening in all menus (except those on manila)
Is any fix for this?
I'm using Menu Enhancement v1.1.20113129.00 (from Topaz 2.53) and manila 2.5.1921 (with interceptor position fix)

you have to use a position-fixed cuihandler.dll module.
how to fix it manually in Menu_Enhancement_1_1_20162731_00_leo_3.14:
two matches of 0x34 should be replaced to 0x24 -> search in s000 module part for 3430a0e3 (hex) with hex-editor and change 34 to 24 (ultrashot told me this)

Thanks for the advise. I tried to use your fix with my package but didn't work, and I'll have to manually fix my package.
Quick questions:
- Any suggestion for an easy to use HEX editor?
- After editing, do I need to sign the package or something?
I'll also try to use the package from the LEO with the fix, as see how it works, But I don't know if there is any dependency with other packages of the LEO 3.14.

try the package i uploaded first (i flashed and tested it myself).
if this doesn't work for you, upload your cuihandler.dll and i will ask ultrashot for the correct value (maybe different).
try hxd hex editor or similar to edit.

Hi, just use the 2018 Menu Enhancement from the Oboe device. You will find this attached.
It was designed for WM6.5.3, so there are no gaps in it.

Well, all of us use different ROMs and have a different customisation style. I'd like the whole of my members to take screen shots of what ROM they are using and how have they customized it. I have posted it in this forum because I want everyone to participate and solve/ask problems to the chefs.
You need to post the screenshots describing the ROM, the way you have customized you ROM, the theme you are using and the newest and best application you found useful. You can also put in the most used application's screenshot over here. You may also suggest any application[NOT WAREZ] to the members.
Alternatively, if you are facing any problem with the ROM, just screen shot it over here and describe the problem and the members/counterparts/chefs may help you out.
