VGA Hack worth it or not(poll)

I think it makes the Universal worth having - I just got a Hermes yesterday, and despite it being a beautiful device with feck small buttons, QVGA is too old school these days.
VGA will make you blind faster then the Victoria Secret's catalogue, but it looks beautiful. With careful tweaking it can be made usable for day to day work, but for remote desktop or PocketWord etc, it's great.

He is a top fella but they say he has gills and two sets of knee's and can our run a 911

VGA mode is fantastic - I couldn't be without it.
I have it turned on all the time but find it mainly useful for:
Web Browsing and actually being able to see worth a damn
PocketPutty connections
Terminal Services

You think that's weird, you should see my table-arm attachment:
FYI - I'm working on a new app for the phone, to make it much better then VJBigPhone. One day some time, hopefully this year
But seriously, VGA is great technically and it's a real shame to use QVGA afterwards, but it is painfully small sometimes. But with appropriate UI tweaks, it can work very well.

qvga=320x240 (quarter vga)

Which means 4 times as much image on the same screen size.
However, on PocketPCs, as the current crop are typically not made to use a 640x480 screen, they use "pixel doubling" to enlarge a 320x240 image into 640x480. This means that you actually get more detail, but still "320x240" of pixels.
This is why screenshots from the universal are a much better quality.

I think he means registery .BTW I too like ur Today screen and I can afford to play with security holes.

So whats the secret to how you did this to your XDA. I'd really love to know what you did.

I used the VGA hack on the Universal, and then I wrote VJSihaya.
It was almost too easy. Not...

Can u tell me the way to get this thing work by ur way coz it is really nice .Plz......

VJSihaya is not for release yet. It's something I'm working on very long term, many things I would like to do with it yet.
Also, the windowed interface unfortunately only looks good at VGA, it's not effective at QVGA, so I'm not sure whether it'll need releasing at all until VGA screens become the norm... hurry up HTC!

pocketcm skinning is more cool and looks more like iphone

iContact! is more comfortable than both in my eyes.. still under developement but certainly has the best potential.

PCM is free, EasyPhone is shareware ! so I keep iContact !

hahahaha not very professional for someone who is trying to sell their software, rather than letting people use it for free.

To commercialise a program you have to first justify why youre better than the free versions, then you talk greasy. From a UI perspective and the flash animations I see that it has the same aspects of PCM, but with bigger buttons.Give it a week, somebody will come up with a PCM theme that looks like that

EXCELLENT! One of the geniuses really needs to get this off the Diamond. I think by far, this is one of the best stock skins I've seen.

ask the creators of Athena Project 4.0 to help you with it.
they are the ones who created the dialer(i think since its in their AP4.0 ROM)

Yes, yours is my second favorite dialer skin! Anyway maybe u could make one like the one posted above with all the other screens that go with it like missed calls, landscape, etc? If these pics above is the stock diamond dialer then it shouldnt be hard for our top developers on here to rip it and make it easily available to everyone on here.

ok, enough spamming. spencepu3's dialer is nice too but he forgot to skin almost half of the dialer. E.g. when a key is pressed you will see the original iPhone skin again.
