Sometimes people call and I dont want to answer and instead continue working on the PDA, is there a way I can turn off the incoming call bubble?
You should have one of the soft keys display "dismiss" and that would make the call and the bubble go away....
or turn on flight mode to disable calls
Hi!
I have the T-Mobile-Version of the TyTN and I have a problem with incoming calls.
Sometimes happens that i could not receive an incoming call, at the caller side there is a ringtone but after a few seconds he gets the "busy tone" and no voicebox.
Disable/Enable the GSM, also restarting (softreset) of the device does not bring a solution. I have to do an outgoing call and then everything is working fine again.
Is this problem known?
Regards,
Johannes
no matter what ringtones i use they only ring for 17 seconds is there a setting or way to alter this.
and how can i silence an incoming call. id like the option to answer the call or press a silence button so the other caller still
thinks the call is ringing and that the call has not just been rejected.
thanks

Sounds like your calls get diverted to voicemail after 20 seconds (takes approx 3 seconds for the phone to ring on an incomming call). Setting your divert can be network dependant, but if you go into phone settings, there is an option called "divert" which yoy can change. Be warned - if on vodafone or other similar networks, the network handles the call diversion. However if you change this, you may be charged for the phone diverting calls to voice mail.
To mute the phone on incomming call, simply turn the phone face down on the desk. This should mute the ringer. If this does not work, you need to install HD Tweek or similar to set this option.
yes mate your right my phone does get divertd to voicemail but i was getting 29 seconds i think it was on my nokia n95 when that was set to divert. on orange you cant set divert on or of by the phone you have to ring the network but cancel divert.
as for the silence calls on flip if i have the phone in my pocket and someone calls the flip does not work as i have no surface to lay it flt on i just tried it .
so if anyone else has no solution the only thing i can think of is
1 cancel call divert with my network and hope there is a third party software that can manage my voice mail . any recommendations ?
2 any recommendations of any software to silence calls by press of a button ?
thanks
ok i managed to get the ringtone to ring longer before it goes to voicemail .
the settings for that are acually in the phone ardsar says but how can i get the
phone to silince callls without turning the phone over .
im looking for a press of a button method.

Press one of the volume buttons when your phone is ringing
blimey so easy eh when you know how .
cheers mate appreciated
or you can dial this number
**61*insert your voicemail number here*11*30#
if you then hit the call button and enter this your phone will ring for 30 seconds before going to voice mail.
cheers
The settings for my HD2 are set to mute. System sounds and ringing. Nevertheless the phone is vibrating when I receive an incoming call. Very annoying in meetings.
Any help?

you can try silent mod, voldown and tap to silent.
I have turned off vibrate for incoming calls. Yet, it seems half of the incoming calls still trigger the phone to vibrate, and I can't seem to find a pattern for which calls trigger the vibrate. Anyone else experience this?
I just put a question in for the same thing. Certain incoming calls will vibrate. I can not figure why or is there some setting I need to shut off. Will keep looking.
