There is a registry edit you have to make on your computer to use the internet via a cable/comp, sorry I don't have it handy but if you search the forums you'll find it. For the flashing, it is really simple if you read the wiki and stickies.

your post doesnt say why you are unable to connect to the net via activesync. I had trouble with an error saying 0x80072f78. I solved it by doing the reg fix that demotefixo advised.

make sure you realise what type you have first ,if it is a G3 or a G4 , before unlocking if you get that wrong it is bye bye phone hello paperweight
All the files for sim and cid unlocking, which include the button downgrade rom an official o2 rom and lokiwiz that you need are in this file

HELP PLZ!how to Jtag a Prophet G4 device?

Hi,
I've found jtag pinout for HTC prohpet G4,
HTC Prophet Jtag Pinout
I've killed my device during update, and as far as i know i must use Jtag to unbrick my device,
I've built Xilinx DLC5 JTAG Parallel Cable III for this,but donno how to do that...
so i donno which adapter or software i need to use for jtaging the device,
where can i download the bootloader file to flash into my device?
i'm asking because i donno how to do this at all !
can anyone help me to do this ?
I need a complete step by step solution for this questions.
