I have Skype ppc on my mini, should I be able to call other skype users through the mini?....meaning talking through skype with the phones earpiece and mic.
I have tried to call someone but the sound (thier voice) comes through the speaker on the back of the phone and it seems they can't hear me
Is there a setting somewhere that perhaps I've missed
Thanks for any thoughts

Are there other programs people have successfully used the mini's mic and earpiece to talk with?

I am using the Cingular now AT&T 8525 with WM6, Voice Command 1.6 and a Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth Headset. I would like to be able to voice dial to call digits "call one, two, three, four,...." Is there a program that will allow me to do that? Currently I am having problems with the VC 1.6, I can tell it to call someone and then it dials and rings but as soon as they answer it drops the "hands free" and I have to turn it on again. It just started happening.
Any help or suggestions out there?
Thanks

I can't get the (last) Skype 3.0 for Windows Mobile to work on my X2 (MR2).
The app installs fine, connects fine to the Skype NW, shows status information correctly, etc.
But when I call echo123 to try and test my VoIP call audio quality, it:
- does not record my message, or
- does not replay my message
I can hear the echo123 female voice message fine, but I guess "something is wrong with my audio settings...." as she keeps repeating to me.
Thanks for any assistance or other feedback.
Skype ? microphone not picking up my voice ?
Hi,
I can make calls and I can hear my correspondents fine,
it's just that they don't hear me at all .....
Why is the X2 microphone not picking up my voice when in a Skype call ?
The microphone works since I can make regular calls without a problem.
Please Help, Anyone got a clue ?
AudioSwitch fixes Speakers, not Microphone
Hi, while I wait for someone else to join his/her findings, I keep on testing.
Today I installed AudioSwitch.exe. Works great to switch Skype audio to the internal speaker. Didn't change a thing to my microphone not working.
How can I get that microphone to be used as the audio input for skype calls ?
I too await a skype app that works well with the x2!!
Look at the: skype in xperia x2? problem on nimbuzz - Thread. This version works fine. (I've posted the link but i'm not allowed to.)
I face exactly the same a.m. problems ! What is curious is that BEFORE MR2 - same cab Skype_WM3.0 was installed and worked flawlessly. Therefore my guess is that issue comes from skype itself - as they said in www.skype.com "everybody already installed will continue to work..." but after I make an update to MR2 - everything was erased and I have to install cab again, so I guess it counts as a new installation and that is why from skype they "cut" microfone etc...

I have been using the MSVC 1.6.21913 that came preinstalled. I also have the bluetooth setting for all sounds to go through the earpiece checked as well as the MSVC setting to only announce through the earpiece.
Still, I get random announcements of calls, etc through the speaker. Anyone had this problem? T-mo has no solution or record of it from anyone else (although, I didi have the same problem with my TP2 and reported it to them...)
Thanks,
