Does anybody know if there is a small program that will enable pocket outlook to create a task from an e-mail. When I receive an e-mail for help from my desktop, all I have to do is drag the email to the tasks and it creates a task for me. This isn't easy with my Mogul. I didn't know if there was something that would help me with this. I know that PocketBreeze will do this inside of it's program, but I hate cluttering up my today screen with pocketbreeze. Thanks.

I've STF'd through these forums, and am unable to find what I'm looking for. I'm also not sure if this is the appropriate forum, but here goes:
I have the T-mobile MDA Vario II. I run Outlook/Exchange at work and use ActiveSync(Push email) to send/receive email.
I have a large amount of subfolders configured in Outlook and I have certain rules that filter email and deposit them in the appropriate folders inside of Outlook. These are all synchronized onto the phone.
And here enters my problem. The unread section on the today screen only shows unread messages in the Inbox and not the subfolders. Unless I drill down to the folder list, I have no outward indication that I have unread messages in those folders.
I'm hoping that there is a Today screen program or a plugin / registry change that will list all folders with unread messages or otherwise indicate that I have unread messages elsewhere besides the inbox.
I've searched all over handandgo.com, and the software sections of this website. Can anyone point me towards something that will do what I'm looking for? Thanks in advance.
Try Spb Diary, it has tabs which include messages and will show emails from all your accounts. I wouldnt b without it.
I too have the same predicament.. I'm looking at spb diary but I'm not sure about the subfolder notifications on it...
Its very frustrating that I have to scroll through my folders to see if any new mail has been received in them!
Any ideas anyone??
I've been looking for a solution for this for ages. No luck so far...

I tried searching everywhere but couldn't find anything. I made a new iPhone theme with Wisbar and I want to map the bottom Mail button to Outlook and and the Text one to SMS, tmail.exe works for text but how would I get to ActiveSync or Outlook?
Okay never mind I figured out.
outlook shortcut
hi can you give me the shortcut for outlook email.
Hello,
I am looking for an applications that is able to show the newly added appointments in Outlook Mobile.
The case is: My girl and I sync both our phones calendar to Windows Vista running Outlook 2007.
I would like to have an application that can show me the newly added appointments for the last x days (user configurable).
I've checked the appointments currently in Outlook and I think that when somebody can create a program that filters on the date an appointment is modifief, the program would more or less do the trick.
I am able to do a little programming in VB but I have no clue on how to create programs for Windows Mobile and connect to Outlook.
If somebody could try and make something or give me some tips on where to start please do so.
Thanks in advance
Nobody has a clue?? Or is nobody interested in this kind of functionality?
Possible?

I don't need this myself, but thought I could make a program to do this fairly easily. However, I realized that PocketOutlook doesn't store the creation/modification date, so I don't know how to do that on the Pocket PC.
However, if you synchronize with the desktop Outlook, you can define a view in Outlook where you add the field created, and you can easily see when the items were created. Maybe that can work for you?
Dear Diamonders,
Microsoft has a bug in the filtering of active tasks, right?
How have you managed to get it working? What is the third party software that just does the trick? I am not really interested in fancy PIM solutions that used color categories, etc. Just want the filter to work.
thanks in advance,
Tarmo
It works for me.
I'm synchronising with Outlook 2007, which does have colour names as default categories, but I have deleted those and created new categories for my contacts. The Diamond is allowing me to assign those new categories to tasks and filter them just fine.
I am also using Outlook 2007.
Are you saying that when opening tasks and selecting - menu - filter - all tasks/active tasks, you are getting only tasks from today and active tasks from the past. I am getting all tasks that have future date...
Or are you talking about contacts?
thanks,
Tarmo
I installed a trial version of Flexmail and later uninstalled it. Now, whenever I look at a contact's history in Pocket Informant and try to look the received emails from that contat, the program insists trying to call Flexmail, allthough it is completely unisntalled from my device (I mean registry keys erased, etc). I would like Pocket Informant to call just the default email program and not other. Any suggestions on how to proceed will be appreciated.
