Found it. It's HTC Task Manager app.

Duttys Task Manager for Leo or Touch X Taskmanger?

I would like to install a TaskManager in my Leo stock WWE ROM.
What're the differences between these two taskmanagers? They look like the same.
I read somewhere that this taskmanager makes the device slower and battery life shorter. Is it true?
Thank you.
ReX
Dutty's task manager didn't work for me, but the Touch X one did. That's the reason I used that particular one.
Touch X, people have had problems with Dutty's (can't uninstall for one), whereas the Touch X one is perfect (and can be removed if any undesirable consequences rear their head).
But it's true that after installing this taskmanager the device become slower? Today I see that Igo takes more time to start but maybe it's a placebo effect of what I read...
I have Dutty's and I have just uninstalled it (to make sure I could, now to reinstall it). I think it is great (doesn't slow anything down from what I can see) my only issue is that it doesn't show Comm Manager or Active Sync in Dutty's.

I've not tried anything other than Touch X but it works very well.
Man, I really love this phone
I tried both but prefer to stick to the original taskmanager which I choose to use Dutty's task manager.
Ok after having been running Dutty's for the last 2 months, then reading this thread I thought i'd give Touch X a go to compare the two...........
Uninstalled Dutty's, installed Touch X and nothing appeared in the task bar, did a couple of soft resets to be sure, so then reinstalled Dutty's and thats not working now either!! LOL
What have I done??
i'm sorry if i'm asking something I shouldn't..... but can somebody please point me in the right direction to download the cab file for Touch X Task Manager
I found it somewhere last week... installed it..... been very helpful
But i've had to do a hard-reset.. and foolishly I didn't save any of the tweaks/cabs/updates I installed.... so now i'm trying to find and d/l them all again
Touch X Task Man is the only thing I can't find so far
If not allowed to post links directly in here, please feel free to PM me a link......
Any help much appreciated

Sure is Dutty's Task Manager and Touch X Task Manager the same? Sure loks like it! However, what I noticed is that Dutty's starts much faster on boot.
Hi, just what to share, after installing Dutty's Task Manager on my HD2 i noticed it low's battery fast and effect the profermance, so i prefer to use built-in one.

Hm.. I tried an a-b test. I removed Dutty's TM, did a soft reset, full charge, then noted battery usage. Over not quite 7.5 hours - phone on, but no calls received - the battery went down to about 94%.
I then installed Dutty's TM, changed nothing else. I did start a couple of apps, switched among them with DTM, killed one of them, just to be sure that all of DTM's major functionality had been exercised. Then after another 6 hours, the battery had dropped to 88%.
So I don't see that DTM is increasing the battery load.
I will note that the HD2 seems to share a flaw with my previous HTC phone, the TyTN II: After using a GPS-aware app such as iNav's iGuideance or Google Maps, the GPS receiver is apparently not turned off unless you power the phone down (pressing and holding the red button). And the GPS drains battery like crazy. Perhaps the previous poster had GPS, or some similar once-on-always-on battery drainer, going on at the same he or she was testing DTM?

Better than Duttys Task Manager ?

I have tried WkTask on WM 5.0 and I was pretty happy with it...
I have tried Magic Button in WM 6.5 and been not-that happy with it.
Later on I tried Duttys Task Manager on WM 6.5 (on my HTC HD2). The program is good but it still leaves programs open. For example, I close all programs with Duttys Task Manager and then I go to HTC HD2's Task Manager and I find ActiveSync running...
I am using the version posted on this Forum. Does anybody know that a better version of it has been released? Or, maybe there is a better Task Manager out there?
Thank you, all!
I've been using WkTASK since my HD days. And so far no problems with my HD2 either.
doesn't activesync start itself when it needs to? I use a hosted exchange service and active sync always seems to start and stay running after the first sync to Exchange.
WkTask is the best so far.
x2 taskmanager
FdcSoft Task Manager is amazing! (and free...)
x2 Taskmanager didn't work with my HTC HD2 (wm 6.5) maybe because I had an older version??
Where do I download WkTask and FdcSoft Task Manager from?
Thank you.
Dutty's Task Manager!!
The Best !!!
Well, did you get yours, novalistic? Maybe yours really closes all open programs...
Thank you in advance for the link!

HTC Task Manager for X2? Sounds like a great idea.

Or perhaps somehow somebody can get the original X2 task manager working again..
Has anyone tried porting the HTC task manager and skinning it like the X2? Just an idea =D
sorry probably not the answer you are looking for
but i have found arkswitch to be very useful. i did not create this app i merely use it. here is a link http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-arkswitch.html

HTC Wizard Best ROM to use

I have a G3 HTC Wizard and I currently have 6.5 pro installed but I have found it to be very memory hungry.
I love 6.5 but you have to be constantly ending tasks in task manager to gain more memory.
I am looking for a slick fast running ROM preferably at least 6.1 and doesn't bring the wizard to its knees all the time.?
Can someone direct me to were I can get a list of all the available ROMS for this phone to download?
I have searched everywhere with no luck!
Thanks

For 6.1 i'd try the diamond clean fast by j.vd.spank, it is what it says.
