There is another, darker version available too. It's named HTC_default.

Both these files make your phone have the default black HTC theme as opposed to my default O2 blueish theme. Place in .tsk file the in \windows and use...

The default theme is a little darker than the default new.
Seems that the default new is a newer, a little bit overhauled version. It features more contrast and as I said, is a little bit brighter.

I have this theme (see attachment) which is much darker then the default one ..
Search for the WM6.1 Theme together with the glossy_black_bars.exe
Its very nice (also available in red)

Hi there,
on several ads you can see the MDA Pro (HTC Universal) with a green theme. Looks pretty nice so I would like to use it on my MDA Vario (HTC Wizard) too. The green theme I am talking about is like the standard blue Windows Mobile 5.0 theme just in green.
Maybe one of you has the theme and could upload it

well thats not the same theme. The background is different and the bars on the bottom and top are different.

Having tried the default orange E-TEN_M600_Dialer _Skin & Pauly-A_Skin_Grey I still find it difficult to read the shaded dialling box in sunlight.
A simple Back & White, without shading, Skin would offer maximum contrast. I have brightness set to maximum.
Any suggestions?

Try DIY The Eten skin is made up of multiple graphical files. Load this graphical files into your graphics editor (in your PC) and make it b&w.

Thanks for your suggestion: I simply opened the .bmp files& blanked out the grey shading in PcvDialerBkP & PcvDialerBkP_Inv
Copied them into the Windows folder, overwriting the shaded ones, and now have Black on White dialling!
When I have time I will 'play' with the rest

It appears that only the PcvDialerBkP is necessary - don't know the significance of the _Inv extension; initially I used the same file with the _inv extension.
This is only a 'rough' copy; those with patience and/or skill will be able to improve upon it:

Have reworked it:
One suggestion. You ought to use a better font. The TNRoman is good for writing letters and stuff, they aren't really pretty in most cases. Try using the Tahoma or Arial (as what the original comes with), it will look better and i think it gives you a better contrast as well (e.g. a small font Tahoma is better to look at than a small font TNRoman)

Any luck in creating the dialer skin?
I'm also searching for a clean Dialer skin. Thinking about taking the dialer from the new Treo 750v en modify it so it fits in the E-ten dial skin. Or maybe use the ZPhone as a template...

I agree with you. Although the colorful skins are nice to look at, in bright sunlight I need HIGH contrast. This link is for Zphone dialer skin and today theme.

If you want high contrast black and white, choose the "zphone_wm5_carbon_mm_qvga1.6.cab" for the dialer skin. This is the normal skin, not Eten, then get the Today theme "carbon_extrablack_blackbars.tsk" from the "zpv_wizard_dialpad_skins_w_tsk" package. They match, and the security code entry pad changes to the same black and white theme too. I've been using it for months, it is really bright. There are other skins in the pack also, but the ones I pointed out are the highest contrast that I've found anywhere.
That's the same dialer I'm using for a few weeks now.
Personally I also like the TiBlue dialer from paulya.com

Sounds quite interessting, is a screenshot somewhere available?
I might be interessted in a normal .theme file, I can use with Tf§D Config 0.67.
There used to be a screenshot in duttys Rom-Thread, but since he updated the Rom, the neon-like Interface was gone.... wasnt able to find a picture of it so far. think it was part of the TouchFlo version, but he changed for another one with the default theme due to performance issues.

Ah right. Don't know about the clock. I got this from the HTC Black Coloured.theme somewhere in the forum and the clock was the original one. If you find the neon clock/theme let me know.
I'm currently looking for the glass background clock. I will probably merge some themes together to make one for me.

Hi i got some questions about i780,
is there a bluetooth manager who allows to "browse" coupled devices like other handys? and who can send more than 1 file WITH a status bar?(in i780 you dont see a status bar),
second : i need a theme with COMPLETE BLACK bar up and down like htc theme, but if i install the theme i get a "default" backgroud and startmenu and the down bar is not complette dark. so i tried it by myself but nothing works! could you create such a theme for me??? everyting instead text ist black.
and my last problem every picture i choose for background ist "transculent" black is grey and **** like this so PLEASE HELP me

hello developers,
i install this lockscreen (win mobile 6.5 dusk-lockscreen) and i do my own picture in this and i think, its absolutley phantastic for me.
now when i go into the start menu i see the taskbar und the bottombar a little transparent. this is great and the picture is a little bit bigger & sharper.
my question is, how can i change the hometab background in the same stil with semitransparent task- and bottombar and with a little look of the backgroundpicture?
