I've got an older ROM and Bootloader and am wondering if there is anything I need to watch out for when updating my ROM to the newer T-mobile version 3.14. This device was a beta model I tested. I have been having problems all of sudden so updating the ROM seems to be the next step, they are not problems that I have heard anyone else having.
PW10B1
Wallaby Bootloader version 5.13
ROM: 3.05d.00
ROM Date: 6/12/02
Radio Version: 5.98
I'm going to update all the software and stuff on my phone with all the official HTC things so not a custom rom.
Do I just have to install the latest rom or will I need to install the older versions before installing the latest or does the very latest come with all the fixes the previous versions did?
Also do I need to have a specific rom upgrade since I am on o2 I've heard they stop certain things or what ever/
If you're on O2 UK then go to this page and enter your serial number:
http://www.htc.com/uk/SupportDownload.aspx?p_id=297&cat=2&dl_id=856
If it accepts your S/N then you can just install the latest ROM which includes all the previous fixes. If it doesn't accept your S/N then you have to wait on O2 to release their version of the ROM

You mean software revision? That is driverset - it probably didn't got updated as you flashed KH2 stuff.
You can try mine OEM package, that updates all OEM drivers, Radio and bootloader. Check out General forums, I posted it there.

Hello,
I'm using Samsung Galaxy S7 SM-G930FD.
PDA (AP) version installed: G930FXXU1BPJE
CSC version installed: G930FOXA1BPJE
Android version installed: 6.0.1
My currently installed firmware is obviously old and I would like to make an upgrade.
I searched for the latest firmware versions available for my device and I did found them (on "Sammobile.com", if it matters). Each firmware on that website indeed has a relatively recent release date.
However, I noticed that all the firmware versions have a bootloader version that is OLDER (!) than the one I currently have.
My current bootloader version starts with U (U1B), while the supposedly newer firmware has bootloader version that starts with S (e.g. S7E).
Back then, I was told to never install a firmware that has an older bootloader version than the currently installed one.
What am I missing here...?
I appreciate your help!
Thanks
Sorry, but "U" doesn't stand for bootloader version, but the next to it digit. You're on bootloader 1 and latest firmware is 7. I'd recommend you to try first nougat firmaware with the some bootloader version: 1 (- to check if you like it or not), if you try firmware with bootloader 2 or higher, you no longer can revert to marshallow in case you don't like it
