Looking for 10-button comm manager - Mogul, XV6800 General
I've looked high and low but can't seem to find a fully compatible version for my PPC6800. Anyone have any luck?

I am always tinkering around and will likely be posting some more. I have .cabs for all (3) comms but I dont have the .cabs for these two above on my work comouter. There is a thread at PPCGeeks where everything is but of course the site is down...
Here is another I made last night.

Note: Regrdless of the comm manager you currently have (10-8-6 button, etc) this will give you the 10-button comm shown above. Fully functional with landscape...

hi, im looking for a way to change my start bar and soft keys bar to a black glossy xp bar. can anyone tell me how to do this. ive searched the forums and cant find anything, but I remember seeing pics of someone who had it. thanks

Using "Wisbar", it's possible to skin the start bars...
anyother way? i've used wisbar before and its the worst application ive ever used

well well look what i dug up when I typed glossy black bars in the "search engine".....perhaps it was "broken" when the first search was rendered....

Click to collapse I haven't seen such an application yet, but i think it's not impossible if someone edits a theme file for wm6. Like it's possible to change the top and bottom bars to simple plain black or green for wm7 themes so I think it's also possible to change them to anything you want to.

I tried installing the CAB for the Flick Menu from Verzio Envii (an O2 XDA Atom Life variant) on my Tmobile Wing but i can't get it to run. It installs but it won't launch, nothing happens when i tap /launch it...i guess there is a restriction where it would prompt to run or not when launched on a non Verzio Envii device, tried ResHack but i can't see anything related to it, I'm not into programming so thats so far what i can only do. I hope someone would hack this CAB file to run on any device or at least on an HTC.
Btw, the Flick Dynamic Menu runs like the finger friendly Task Manager from X1 Xperia where it would show the snapshot of any running tasks, probably would be the best task manager if hacked to run on any device!

Wont work for me either (Touch Dual), however on the today screen something flickers and shows all sorts of colors jabbered through each other really short (couldn't take a screenshot, that short) and it does change the left softkey (which naturally won't work). I'd love to dig into this but I'm kind of not knowing what to do, so I'll open the .exe in a hex editor and see
dont worry you posted this in the correct place. alot of things start off that way such as manilla 2d. now all i can suggest is too check this thread and wait. somebody will come along and get it too work.
I think you have lost somthing . My phone is Verzio Envii , I have installed the cab above, but it doesn't run.

No top or bottom bar is showing this is fullscreen application.

Screen position since flashing 1.48
Since flashing the new 1.48 wwe rom my home screen position is now about 3mm to high, which reveals the lock screen wallpaper underneath.
I`ve posted some pics to show it....

Which can be seen still showing in the bottom part of my home screen
In the image below you can see the Settings text is to high...
Its as if the manilla screen is to high position.
I have tried a hard reset but it comes back the same.
I can use the same background for both wallpapers but the text is still to high.
Can anybody shed some light on this problem
This also happens with the HTC bundled wallpapers...

You need to install version 1.0.1b, because the one you had was for newer builds of Windows Mobile and applies the so-called "position fix". These newer builds have different sizez of the top and bottom bars. Alternatively, you can leave the version you have but change the registry to cancel this position fix. See the Showcase thread to learn how to do it.

Or you can install 1.1.0 and edit the registry to: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\e-Natives Technology\Showcase] "SUITE_NewTaskbarSize" to 52. "SUITE_PositionFix_WinClasses" delete the value "Manila;RESCO_EXPLORER_CLASS", so this string will be empty. credits to barty22

You can also just make that icon invisible so that the clock shows normally, but you can press the area and access HTC Taskmanager.
