Do you have a progrom that properly closes applications? like a task manager? if so add the text messaging program to the exception list.

i recently updated my GENE with WM6.1 posted here. it solved few problems like multiple SMS send to same contact, etc., in WM5(original). but now SMSs in my inbox are shown differently. some of them r show as a conversetion(group of few msgs from single contact) and some r show nomally. the left soft-key is set to delete option. when i send msg to some1 it does not show the sent msg in sent folder.
SMS Smiley(v1.5) is not installing on my PPC. not able to take backup of my Msgs.

I have a lot of my contacts setup with pictures of them. However, When I receive a txt message from someone I have a picture attached to it shows the picture which is throwing the text all out of wack. Is there a way to remove pictures from incoming txts? thanx

hey all, thanks for the time!
ok so i can not open my incoming MMS messages. on my previous phone i could, so i know i have the service. but when the phone notifies me that i have a new MMS message, when i try to tap the screen to open it it wont even open to show the message.
has anyone had this prob? is there a fix??? and it also wont remove the notifications, because it wont display the message...

Do you tap the taskbar notification bar? Does it ask you to download it and then wont or just wont open at all?
When i receive an image from somebody through a text my samsung messaging app will show the picture twice as two different messages. Is there a way to fix this???
