Guys my Htc charmed was flashed with the vlodeck 2.1 final touch flo charmer rom. MY READINDS ARE IPL: 3.08.0001 SPL : 3.08.0001 GSM : 02.60.21 OS : 4.0.00. My proble mis no matter what sim i put in the phone it is not seen or recognized in the phone . .it still says sim card is missing . What have I done worng or is there something I have not done right ? CAN SOMEONE HELP ME OR SOLVE THIS PROBLEM FOR ME .. once the sim card network 'DIGICEL" SHOWED THEN DISAPPEARED AFTER A MINUTE .. WHAT IS WRONG ? Cnat figure it out . .checked the sim holder . .seems ok.. not sure what next to look for or check out
Try flashing back to WM5, see if it helps.

Your Speedy Response Was Greatly Appreciated .. On Closer Inspection I Found Out That The Sim Holder Had A Slight Problem It Was Loose And I Tightened It And Presto .. Everything Works Fine Now .. Thanks Again For Such A Great Rom..

I try to reflash my touch dual from NL to CHT, but.....
It looks I forgot to unlock the CID and the reflash programe has stopped on 14%, after that I only can get in the "3 color screen" ...
I try to down a lot of different version Niki's ROM ( also tried 'wizard_romupgradeutility_noid' ) but all of them has hand on 1% or even just report the Erroe [294] : invelue Ventor ID ...
As I learn from xda, it looks only reflash the ROM by miro SD can solve my problem, but I can't found any information regarding how to make the reflash function micro SD for NIKI ....
Anybody can help ..... :'(

As far as i know, you can't reflash your rom by microsd. The only option you have is to wait until valvarin has finished his unbricker. Still, I don't know when the unbricker is finished. Sorry for the bad news. Maybe the gurus have an idea. Keep your hopes high and succes!
What I can do now ???
At this moment, my touch dual only can start to "3 color screen" mode, and also can strat a ROM reflash programme but never can be 100% finish... ( Erroe [294] : invelue Ventor ID / system hang ) ...
Or is possible if I flash back the original ROM ???
Does anybody have the original HTC Dutch ROM from T-mobile ???

Hi , I have the same problem also would like to reflash from the sd card as my hermes 200 freezes on the win start screen , still running windows 5 . Hard reset does not work , just back to win start screen . Please let me know if you have some success . Thanks

i flased the tmobile rom with ur given link now it doesnt go past the initial screen
all it says is
ipl 3.08
spl 3.08
gsm 02.69.21
os 3.8.2.21
and stays ter all day until battery goes dead.
i can get into bootloder mode
please help me let me know hw can i get my phone up and running.

You say format failed? Then forget your Device. We have only one case of reported fix for that. But the fix has never worked again. So I think your Device is dead.
so no way of getting it back ??? plz there should be some way yea ???
We don't have any way reported to work more then one time. I'll do some research for you but I think it is hopeless.
same thing here on one charmer ... I can enter bootloader, can flash a rom - t-mobile english versinon WM5. but device hangs while booting and on hardreset format fails.
Is it possible to flash another rom that works? whitch rom?

It can be Hardware fail but I don't think so. At this moment we don't have a fix but I have some ideas. To test them I'm at the moment talking to an other person with that problem. Till now we don't have any good news but we are still working. Maybe there is hope soon.

Hi,
almost same problem in my HTC TOUCH. we got a Signal from SIM?
To me sounds like a software problem.
Hard reset will solve it. It´s not a sim prob. (it would fail to display the red and /or sim contact list).
Is it operator unlocked ? Did you upgrade your rom, uspl and/or radio rom ?
If a hard reset will not solve and your phone has a costumised rom flash it with a factory rom.
If still doesn´t work, well ... let the Technical Service take a look...

have you tried flashing a stock rom? maybe your current rom is causing the problem. If that doesn't work, it is most likely a hardwareproblem

i have the same problem,tried the wiki,running around the xda developers for 3 weeks now,reeding almost everything tried almost everything,...still on DOPOD boot screen (not HTC like urs but DOPOD and the numbers are different).

i tried to upgrade the rom and change it from german (or similar to german) language to english. since the percentage start moving i left the process and went to pick some snack downstairs.when i came back the phone was on DOPOD screen,the RUU was showing success.
now!!! did someone touch the process-i guess NO cause the RUU upgrade tool was showing success
was the phone CID unlocked - i have no clue (was sim unluck since i put t-mobile sim onit)
DOPOD-i start hating this because its so annoying since it wont boot my HERM200
