i hope someone can help me:
after softreset i want to do a hardreset but all the time the r 1.10.00 appears.
what i do is i press reset an then quickly push and hold record and media.
whats haeppen? is its neccessary that the hardreset ist "not supportet"?

can i do a hardreset with mtty task 0 ? i'm not sure...and i think i better ask before...
Hold the power button and hit reset (while holding the power button) THEN quickly hold record and camera.
i agree with twistit...
if that doesnt work it's because of two things...
1. most often they letgo of the buttons before the serial numbers...
2. one of the necessary button is failing.
just remember to hold them until the serial number appears...
or try the MMTY alternative if you have broken buttons.

hi, after instaling pretty much of applications on my wizard it just stopped respond. if u do a soft reset it boots but freezest on todays screen and thats it. there is a massage dispalied "low memory". i cannot do a hard reset, upgrade rom anything. is there any other way to perform a hard reset ?? (i tried comm mnr+voice+plus soft reste) HELP !!!

Some people have joy with - turn off - press and hold comm, record and camera buttons and press power on.
If that fails you should be able to flash your device with the same rom. Turn off, press camera button and hold then press power button and bootloader multicolored screen should come up. Connect via usb to pc and reflash rom.
OK, I know.... "Press and hold camera button and press reset"; however sometimes it works, sometimes no.... can somebody tell me the exact procedure?

- Press reset... for how much time?
- And now, release what? when? and in what order?

First, you have to have the phone on , then press the camera button till the end, meanwhile, do a soft reset, pressing the soft reset buttom with the stylus, keep pressing the camera buttom eh, and now your phone will turn off and then it will appear a screen with 3 colors. So easy like this

OK, by viewing the video, I think I understand....
the problem is with my camera button, which needs too much pressure to work! I saw in the video that when the guy presses the camera button he gets the camera working; in my case this needs extra pressure!

Hi,i have a problem..
Everytime i press the central button (between the 'green call button' and the 'red call button') i have to re-align the screen
I tried to flash and reinstall the PPC but nothing changed,evrytime i power off or i put in stand-by my device it asks me the same thing: align screen
Xtrange problem.....
Maybe downgrading again to an original can fix this

I have HTC ELF0100 need to add a french language ... but can't enter in bootloader mode to know the IPL and SPL ...and can't Reset too
i try this ways but not work
To enter the bootloader:
Hold down the camera button and reset device with the stylus. Keep holding the camera button until you see 'tricolor' bootloader screen.
An alternative way to enter bootloader:
Switch the device off by long pressing O/I (power) button. hold down the camera button while pressing the O/I button about 1 second. Keep holding the camera button until you see 'tricolor' bootloader screen.

As almost all htc smartphones with onboard camera, when you push and hold the camera(photo) button, and plug in usb adapter. Even a "stupid" usb power adapter will work.
To hard reset:
Hold down send/reject buttons (green/red at the front) and reset with the stylus; release the stylus but keep holding the buttons till you get 'this will erase all your personal data' message, then press 'action' (big front button) to hard reset.

How to hard reset I-Mate JAMA? It's stuck on second boot screen.
There are 3 way:
1) Start->Settings->System tab->Master Clerar->1234->ok
2)Press soft-reset for 15sec.
3)Remove the battery, Simultaneously hold volume(-) button and red hangup button, while still holding those keys, insert the battery and wait for the led to go out, release keys and device will hard reset.
