Hello Everybody !
I would like to change the splash screen of my Trinity, not the windows mobile, but the ugly white one with the HTC logo when the pda is booting...
I know, everything is explain on the wiki but I never success to have a correct file to update my pocket pc... probably too much blond inside !
So if a king of th update could help to have a correct cab or file to update my spashscreen, it could be really great for me cause I really try to personalise my Trinity...
In this post, you can find find the image that I want to use...

le fichier que je dois lancer pour juste mettre a jour les ecrans avec mon image.... J ai essayé mais a chaque fois ca me fait planté mon pda et resultat hard reset dans le meilleur des cas

Essaye avec ça, j'ai compilé tous les fichiers que j'utilise pour le faire, ensuite tu updates avec la rom contenue dans le répertoire "ROM update splashscreen" (ça ne flashera que ton splashscreen, pas d'inquiétude !!). Tiens moi au courant si ça marche ou pas (normalement avec ça ça doit marcher à l'aise, si tu suis le tuto à la lettre mais faut bien que ton image soit en .bmp 320x240 65K couleurs 24 bits).
Si ça marche pas envoie moi ton image, je te fais le fichier et tu l'updates avec la ROM que j'ai joint (tu vas finir par le changer ton splashscreen, t'inkiète !! parole de Kinté Style !! lol)

Après 2 jours de recherche intensive sur le web je n’ai pas trouvé ce que je cherche. En effet je viens d’acquérir un HTC S300+ (P3600) et souhaite le passer en faman V4.02. J’ai donc cherché partout une procédure expliquant pas à pas la procédure à suivre, sans succès. J’ai trouvé des morceaux mais ils sont quelquefois contradictoires. Il y en a ou il faut unlocker la sim, d’autres pas, d’autre qui disent qu’il faut enlever la sim et la mini SD d’autres qui ne disent rien…..Bref, ne voulant pas détruire mon HTC tout neuf, comme certains ont dû le faire à la lecture de plusieurs post, avez-vous en votre possession cette procédure qui me permettrais d’installer le fameux Faman V4.02 sans faire de grosse bêtises?
Je suis sous Vista sur mon portable, peut-on utiliser Windows synchronisation à la place de activeSync ? Que faut-il sauvegarder du HTC avant tout et comment ?

il était en ROM donc impossible de le récupérer. Je ne crois pas qu'il y ait de solution en fait...
Epluche toujours les topics de FAMAN, il me semble qu'il en a été question.

En fait après être passé en Faman V4.02 le navigateur tomtom a disparu. je l'ai donc remis depuis ma sauvegarde d'origine, mais maintenant il me demande un code d'activation pour la carte ville gratuite. Problème, je n'ai pas ce code. Pour info je suis en Radio 1.29.00.01.

J'ai également un HTC S300+ SFR, j'ai fait la mise à jour vers WM6 Faman 4.02 et donc perdu TOMTOM.
Sur le site de HTC (il faut créer un compte pour avoir acces au download) tu peux télécharger TOMTOM v6.03 .
Ensuite il faut mettre à jour la version radio du HTC vers 1.50.xxxx, (j'avais trouvé le lien sur ce forum) pour que le récepteur GPS fonctionne.
Ensuite j'avais télécharger la carte gratuite et si je me souviens bien tu peux récupérer le code d'activation ou cas où tu dois réinstaller cette carte.
Si je retrouve les liens, je te les donnerais.

J'ai trouvé pour ré-installer tomtom et la carte, par contre le GPS ne fonctionne pas, je pense qu'il faut que je le configure car il ne detecte aucun satellite quelque soit l'endroit ou je me trouve. Problème radio? Dois-je installer la vers 1.50.xxx?

That's OK now I have set-up the GPS. with tomtom 6 you have to select "Other NMEA GPS" with Dauds on 4800, GPS is com 9. So GPS is now well running!!! I just have a problem with the map which is moving everytime. is it normal? I am doing additional research and keep you inform as soon as it will be OK.

I am coming back about the moving of my GPS. It was certainly due to the fact that I was inside the office and that the reception wasn't good. Outside and in my car the map is stable. So I would say: problem solved!
Just an additional question: i have with SFR a free month connection to internet and canal+tv, but I never get access to when I am connecting with internet explorer. The system try to connect and the connection stoped saying that the server has been de-connected. Is there some internet parameters to set-up? I have made some research on the web and try to create a new connection, but the problem still persist. Any ideas?

je lence le romuptade utility ou ché pa trop quoi la et puis je m'est next next et next mais normalement avant je recevez un message et puis sa passez en bootloader mais la je n'est plus le message et sa passe en bootloader puis active sync se déconnecte et donc j'ai un message d'ereur ( 260 je crois bien)
voila j'ai essayé un hard reset mais sa ne change rien
ma rom os faman 4.03
rom radio : 1.16.00.00
et donc je n'ai pas le gps a cauze de cette rom radio que je n'arive pas a changer

this the summary of my pb. I tried several ROM on my artemis and it has always succeeded without pb. until recently I used a new Rom entitled "Oops Black" and it has worked well. and I tried to install the radio ver 03.21.90. the installation is finished until the end. but when I wanted to restart artemis, the first screen that indicates the version of the Rom and radio ... appears followed by the splash screen and it stops and freez.
I tried to do a hard reset without success. it never succed to enter the bootloader. I use the correct method of hard reset. (pushing the two soft key and then with the stylus push the reset key). I also attempted to install a new rom directly from the sd card following the procedure described in this same forum. without success.
in the abstract artemis never succed to enter the bootloader to install a new rom. is there any solution for this kind of pb. or less if I understand what's wrong.

J'ai télécharger un antivirus pour HTC pour voir si un virus fait tout cela l'antivirus il marche parfaitement j'ai fais un scan et il n'a pas trouvé de virus vue que je télécharge rarement des fichiers
J'ai déjà fait un HARD RESET et rien n'a changé il continue de s'éteindre
Bon voilà je sais pas d'où viens le problème j'espère avoir une réponse le plus vite possible
