I'm really sorry for my English, but could you help me???
Best regards

No offence but just to make sure you've bought a genuine WEP200, not a cheap one sold on eBay?
There are heaps of fake ones in the market. In fact I think most of them are given the price tag is soooo low.

Hi John!!Don't warry! I work in a Italian Phone Center and we sell original Samsung products and we are a Samsung city point!!!
My WEP200 (from eBay) was working fine ever since I paired it. Then today, I get a call and I hit answer on my phone, and hear nothing, rather the audio was still on the phone, I was like WTF... I was just using this WEP200. Then I hit Menu -> Turn Hands-free on, and audio was routed to WEP200.
Before such incident, I'd always answer with my headset, so I guess although it's paired, if you answer on the handset then it won't route to the headset.
My 2 cents.

Ok guys and Gals, I need a Bluetooth Headset, as my Cellink doesn't seem to work.
Any recommendations or a list of BT headsets that are being used by you all
TIA
tt 5 seams run ok even with o2 active installed hasnt crashed yet
I have a bluespoon AX which is very, very small, and makes me look less of a tit than using other large headsets or the Universal itself.
Thanks for the replies, I've also sent an email to cellink regarding this issue. If I get a reply I'll post it here.
Ok finally after a bit of a wait I have a reply from Cellink. they say it should be able to work, and since my last attempt I have got it to be recognised.
Unfortunately when the xda rings I can only hear very faint sounds coming from the headset, I've tried the volume controls on the headset and on the xda.
Maybe I'm missing something! anyone care to comment?
I've got a Motorola HS-850 and it works really well. I especially like being able to just close the fold-in mic boom and it switching the headset off completely. Can last well over a week without needing to be charged.
Cheers,
Smiff.
I have a Jabra BT800, so i can see number of incoming callers without open my JASJAR.
Have Fun
Hi all does anyone know if the xda exec supports Audio Gateway Profiles?

Are you saying that you can read the number displayed whilst the BT800 is on your ear? I tried holding a watch up in that position but couldn't read the dial at all - so went for the new thin Jabra BT500. Perhaps its just my tired old eyes.
I'd like to see a picture of that lol  my eyes are aching just thinking about it

That's just what I thought. I couldn't see the point of having a display on the headset if I could only read the display before putting on the headset. Takes much longer to put on the headset, than it does to open the phone or lift the phone to your ear. And what would be the point of the display whilst you're driving?
There's another model, Sony or Motorola (?), that has a display on the outside of the headset - Just so that you can tell everyone around you who has phoned you. Duh! Seems even more pointless to me.
Will be the best... i suppose....

I use my old SE HBH 200 handsfree and so far everything is well. I use it cos the LCD display is not near my ear so I can see it very fast. http://www.infosyncworld.com/reviews/n/5488.html

oki doki, but to what extent functionality of BT 800 is for real ?
1. does it give you just the number, no matter, whether the contact IS IN the contact book already ? or it gives you the name instead of number ? assuming it is for already stored contact ...
2. what is the roughly distance between Exec and BT800 allowing for smooth operation and without strange noises ?
I am looking for good and fully functional BT headset for my Exec but as far as I am concerned there is a problem on BT800 with a/m functionalities

I have a Sony Ericson HBH 662, and it works fine.
does anybody knows a BT headset that use the same mini USB of Universal for charging?

Can you tell me if you can finally answer and hang up calls from a bluetooth headset for the exec? (No interaction with pda just hear it ring and click the headset, not pulling the brick out to smash around your head )
yes
which other models offer this suport?
how do you find the universal functions say compared to hp 2750 (which i cant find since yesterday may need a replacement)?
thank you
Hi guys,
I've been scouring the web for a number of days now with no success. Was wondering if anyone is experiencing the same problem and if anyone knows if this can be fixed.
I have a HTC P3600i, with ROM 3.00.707.18 (latest ENG ROM I could find) and have been using a Jabra BT8010 (firmware 1.33) for some months with no problems on A2DP or Handsfree (even switching back and forth is ok).
Have just got myself a new Dell BH200 stereo BT headset (for better bass) and while A2DP is working pretty fine (very nice), I'm finding that I can't use the headset for incoming or outgoing calls at all.
Everytime I try doing calls, the headset icon on the phone screen disappears after 5 or so seconds, and the headset itself switches off right after.
Am hoping someone can point me to the right direction, thanks..
Well two years later
I own a Dopod C730 and lo and behold I bought a Dell BH200 and I have the exact problem descibed above. I have the latest rom and I have tried reseting the smartphone all for naught.
Well I hope someone has figured this one out at some point or else I am going to be disappointed in my new Christmas gift
Well, I gave up and sold off my BH200 already. Am back to using the Jabra BT8010.
same problem here with my HTC Touch (3452). It's really frustrating to have to remove the headset every time u have to take a call. did anyone fimd a solution to this?

I am not using touch. Mine is Asus P535. WM6
Do double pairing. 2 diffrent mode
1) Hi Fi Stereo
2) Hands free
Music would mute when the call is recieved. When you end the call the music comes back.

This didn't work for me at all, on my HTC P3600i with the Dell BH200 headset. Pairing was ok, but as soon as there was an incoming call, the Dell headset would ring, and then silence.. I'd also notice that the headset icon on my phone would disappear and the headset itself would turn off.
My Jabra BT8010 headset, on the other hand, paired just fine as both handsfree and wireless stereo device. In fact, I've ditched the BH200 and am using the BT8010 till now.
Well how come i aint see this thread . Ok now BH200 works fine and it has no issues ( as you guys should understand if it works with ASUS , NOKIA , SAMSUNG phone ).The problem is HTC's coding . It doesnt support AVRPS, thats the service which is necesary for Phone to switch to calls when received and switch back to music. Now jabra uses a different technology ... But you will have to compramise on the quality of music in BH200
( its awesome ) and more over it looks like a music head set any ways .
damn! is there any workaround? or is AVRPS hardware specific? after A2DP and AVRCP, no we have another acronym to add to the lexicon
Same problem here, tested BH200 with Universal WM6 and Touch HD, headphones switch off seemingly when they receive handsfree request.
Tested them with WM5, lo and behold, it worked. Now I wonder - how come that they work with WM5 BT stack and not with WM6? Any ideas?
Well, from what I gather, at least the good news is that AVRPS is not hardware-specific... so there should be a suitable workaround to this problem for anyone using WM6.
I bought my pair of Dell BH-200 headphones yesterday and while I'm absolutely thrilled by the perfect (at this price) sound quality when playing music, I'm rather annoyed by the fact that I have to take off my headphones every time I want to receive a call. After all, that's what a headset is for, right!?
In any case, here are the specs of my phone:
HTC Touch Elfin P3452, running an up-to-date Windows Mobile 6.1 (Onyx ROM)
I'm considering upgrading to Windows Mobile 6.5 these days to see if that would do the trick... has anyone of you guys tried the Dell headphones' headset compatibility when running WM 6.5? Going back to WM5 is definitely not a option, since I didn't quite enjoy the looks & ergonomics of that OS...
P.S.: Upgrading to WM 6.5 didn't do the trick, unfortunately So I'm pretty much stuck and I don't want to return the headphones since I really enjoy them, of course once I ignore how they don't actually function as a proper headset... Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I just found this fix for the situation:
http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/...s/thread/368efd50-ce24-453a-a31c-e6747c698082
Try setting the registry value:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Bluetooth\AudioGateway\UseESCO = DWORD:0

The best part is, it seems to be actually working (I'm with Touch HD with Win 6.1).
Hey all, I'm new to the site. I've been reading a lot on everything about the Kaiser and I absolutely love it. The information on this site at times can get a little bit confusing but I still manage to get everything done.
My problem is that I can't seem to pair my bluetooth headset (Plantronics 520) with my At&t Tilt. My tilt is not able to discover my headset :-( I was wondering if there is any problem with my phone or just that my bluetooth headset is not compatible with my device
btw I have L26 V10 installed
Thanks in advanced to all those viewing and offering their help (and sorry in advanced for my English as it isn't my 1st language >.<)

I think it is the settings off your BT Headset i think. It is a common problem for me with other BT Headsets.
Use the powerbutton from the BT headset till you get blue light without interuptions.
Then phone must "pair"
I had the same problem.
>.< even when my bluetooth headset is in pairing mode i can't find my headset on my phone :-(
Does anyone on this site use a plantronics 520 with their Kaiser?

Samme problem with 320 Plantronics & TyTN 2
If I push pickup call on headset the voice commandor start
Hello guys!
I purchased this BH-501 headset today for my Defy to listen to music and to use in phone calls. The device pairs properly, the audio quality is good, buttons are working however during calls it seems that voice is breaking up and the volume is low (I can hear the other person perfectly however he can barely hear me and it breaks up every few seconds).
I would be grateful if someone could give me some advice or maybe should I return the headset and get my money back?
---
I've tried the headset on a Nokia phone and the issue did not occur voice volume was good and no breaking up.
My problem is that I can't figure out why this is happening. Is it incompatibility with Defy hardware or is it a problem with my Android version?
If it helps I'm using 3.4.2-177-5 nordic deblur:
-System version: Moto_Version.34.177.5.Retail.en.ND
-Firmware: 2.2.2
-Baseband: EPU93_U_00.59.01
-Kernel: [email protected] #1
---
Thank you!
I have identical issue whit Bh-104!!
i use WM 6.5 and HTC Blackstone
i have the same Bluetooth Headset myself. the audio quality is horrible when you pair it with both my motorola XT720 and Defy. probably motorolas way of making people buy their over priced headsets.... >_> though they do look cool...
I tested it on another Defy and it acted the same so I returned them and got my money back.
Thank you for the input guys!

This is not a solution
I have the similar problem that voice call is half-duplex when Bluetooth handsfree, Jabra Wave is connected.
Is there any ROM or SW version that don't have this problem??
Nokia phones are working normally, full-duplex with Jabra Wave so Jabra is fine!
How to make DEFY Bluetooth voice full-duplex??
I have tried all firmware versions, NONE WORK! and-developers.com/sbf:defy
