Keylock mit Softpad

Hallo,
in der Schweiz habe ich bei einem HERMES (Swisscom XPA) gesehen, dass diese den Pin für das PPC (nicht Pin für SIM-Karte) per Softpad, welches nur Ziffern analog der Pin-Eingabe für die SIM-Karte zeigte, eingeben konnten. Beim Vario 2 geschiet die mit der Tastatur oder Softpad etc.
Wie kann ich die SChweizer version auf meinen Vario 2 aufspielen?
Mein Zielo ist es, das PPC-PIN per numerischer Softpad-Eingabe zu tun.

You can wait for someone to answer it in German, but then the French, English, Japanese (and whatever) people don't know what's going on. Maybe they have the same question.

Wenn du über die PPC Sicherheit spricht, dann kannst du Total Pocket Secure ausprobieren. Mit diesem Software ist es möglich den Softpad zu benutzen.

Aufruf an die Programmierer: HD2 OS Edit WM 6.5.x für Newbies

Hallo und noch mal vielen Dank für die zahlreich zur Verfügung gestellten ROM-Files, welche sich auf meinem HD2 durchaus sehen lassen, habe da auch einen Favoriten, welchen ich aber hier der Fairniss halber gegenüber all den anderen Programmieren nicht nennen möchte - dennoch, BigBusiness Leute!
Kurze Vorstellung:
Bin einer der Ersten, der schon am 21.11.2009 dieses HTC sein Eigen nennen konnte. Als gelernter Informatiker (Technikerausbildung mit Fachstudium) bin ich natürlich sehr am Programmieren meines Eigenen Windows 6.5.x interessiert.
Mit 25 Jährchen kann man mich ruhig mal ernst nehmen, und mir den jenigen Support geben, um welchen ich euch hiermit bitte. Zu meinen Fragen:
1. Wo habt ihr den Quellcode her, bzw. in welcher Programmierumgebung habt ihr es zu Stande gebracht die Anordnung der Sense Schaltflächen zu verändern?
2. Ich habe irgendwo schon mal so eine Art HD2 Emulator für Windows PC Betriebssysteme gesehen. Hoffentlich fällt euch ein, wo ich den vielleicht mal saugen kann.
3. Ist es möglich weitere Befehle in Menüs unterzubringen, bzw. um auf meine Frage zu kommen: Es besteht die Möglichkeit im Startmenü die Anordnung und Sichtbarkeit der Elemente einzustellen (Wabenmuster) - würde es möglich sein, eine Art Menü-Schaltfläche zu editieren, welche Optionen für das Startmenü aufruft, in denen man individuell festlegen kann, wie viele Spalten (3-5), ob versetzt oder im alten iPhone-Stil, das Startmenü beherbergt und welche Größe die Symbole der Elemente haben sollen?
4. Der Grundgedanke würde mir gefallen und Ansätze sind zu sehen, wenn man sich die unterschiedlichen Themes anschaut, welche unterschiedliche Uhren beinhalten. Ist es möglich zwischen mehreren Schriftarten zu wechseln? ich sags mal so, selbst SAMSUNG hat das schon geschafft!

Hello, and thanks for your ROM files, which are very great! One of my favorite (I don't want to call the name of the COOK, means fairness against all of U) looks nice on my HD2.
Short description of Me:
I'm 25 and one of the first owners in Germany, means I bought it on 21. Nov 2009. I'm Consulting Engineer (branch of technical informatic). Against you wrote I ment you could be "serious" with me =) an hope that you could help me with little support, because I'm newbie in Mobile Programming. I please you. So that are my questions:
1st- "YES I KNOW" but to clear and solve the problem with the translation - Where did you find the source of winmobile or what are you using for compiling and programming things like "Placement of Sence Buttons"?
2nd- "I thought i found an HD2 emulator somewhere, it looked like" - but now I know i'ts only the Device Emulator from M$ and a Skin which looks like - but what a pitty I did't find it again. if you know where I can load them It w'd be nice.
3rd- Is it possible to integrate additional entries in Windows menus? OR for especially - taking advance of make own decisions how much Cols are in the Startmenu without installing *.cab for each option (3 cols, 4 cols, 5 cols, ... or availability to move Shortcuts with your finger to your previous prefered position or in Subfolder - I saw it in one of the ROMS, but without handling of Subfolder movement)
4th- You all did good jobs, but everyone has it on taste, means I'm not OK with some Themes or Other things in the Custom ROMs. BUT is there also a possibility to change Fonts without installing *.cab files for each of the prefered font? Embedding of a LIST where you can change the font you want in the fontmenu (Manila-Settings-Personalize-Font), would be the first thing I want to do. I will saying could be no problem - SAMSUNG also does.

Just read only one of about 100 manuals "How to cook a rom" and mostly all questions will be answered.
I was cooking BlackBerry ROMs in the past - I used (how is the Framework called?) Windows Explorer and I think that is one of the essential things you really need!
I wish you good luck on the search for the HTC Sense and Windows Mobile 6.5 source code - neverending search I think.
PS: After your post nobody here will take anything you say seriously...

you have to read some manuals for cooking.
this will give you a feeling of work before a new rom could on a device - with no errors.
for optical design search for ready-programs that could make themes or equals.
if you dont understand my english ... that could be because i am german.

Keypadlight is always on!?

Hello!
I have a small problem with my Trinity (P3600)!
The button lighting is always on (below the Touchscreen). I think, it began after it takes unfortunately a little bit rain!
My successless troubleshooting by flashing makes no difference. Also I disassembly it, without improvement.
Does anyone have a idea to fix this? Or has anyone had the same problem?
I have scanned the half net but couldn´t find a similar case!

Bei meinem Trinity geht die Tastenbeleuchtung (unter dem Touchscreen) nicht mehr aus!
Ist mir nicht bewusst aufgefallen, meine aber das ist so, seit es leider einen Regenschauer abbekommen hat!?
Hab schon verschiedene Versionen geflasht, macht aber keinen Unterschied! Habs auch aufgeschraubt und gereinigt, außer Wollmäusen jedoch nichts Auffälliges und keine Besserung!
Hat / hatte jemand das gleiche Problem und wenn, auch eine Lösung dafür?
Hab das halbe Netz durchsucht und keinen ähnlichen Fall gefunden!

Defecting Touch HD but keeping Warranty

Thats my first Thread ever... so i dont know if i can post this kind of thread here and if its correct here...
Status:
I have a HTC Touch HD from O2-Germany and ive send it 2 times to repair (once for low Battery and once for Bluetooth problem).
Came back fixed. Ive talked to someone of O2 and he said if i send to repair again, i can choose a new Phone (HD2 )
Problem:
I want to have that HD2!! ^^
But my Touch HD dont have anymore errors, so i cant send it to repair (must have an error! they check it 3 days long before i get an OK!)
I wanna know if anyone have an idea how to produce an errory but keeping the Warranty! (software problems wont help cuz i have to Hardreset before i send it to repair)

Hab das Touch HD und will eine Wandlung bei O2 beantragen. Laut O2-Partnershop ist dies nach einem 3ten Einsenden des Gerätes möglich. 2 mal hab ichs schon gemacht jetzt will ich es ein drittes mal machen aber hab leider keinen fehler mehr... Jemand ne idee wie ich einen fehler produzieren kann ohne die garantie zu verlieren? (software fehler helfen wahrscheinlich nicht da ich das gerät vor dem Einsenden Hardresetten muss)

I think that's nearly impossible, because if you cause an error it is probably not covered by warranty. It has to be an error that could not be traced back to you.
But think again: If you damage your device and O2 doesn't repair the phone, you have to pay for it. So that's a very high risk you take.
Now for the idea that is very crazy imho:
You could try do damage the device with water while its on.
That would cause an electronic failure and probably the mainboard has to be replaced.
But the trick is, that you doesn't wet the water indicator inside the phone.
Because this small water sensitive strip shows, if the phone was in touch with water which will void your warranty.
Just search for a disassembly manual and look there where the strip is located.
Now you just have to pour water over the phone without getting the indicator wet.
I know, weird idea, but also a weird question from you

Die Idee wäre, dass du einen Defekt erzeugst, indem du Wasser über dein Handy schüttest.

Das Problem hierbei ist, dass es einen wasserempfindlichen Streifen im Gehäuse gibt.
Falls dieser verfärbt ist verfällt die Garantie, da das Handy offensichtlich mit Wasser in Berührung kam.
Daher msust du schauen, dass der Streifen trocken bleibt.
Dazu suchst du am besten eine Anleitung, die das Handy von innen zeigt.
Dort müsste dann dieser Streifen zu sehen sein.
Nun kannst du versuchen irgendwie schief Wasser über/in dein Handy laufen zu lassen.
Viel Erfolg, aber denk bitte nochmal drüber nach oder verkauf dein Touch HD und spar die das restlich Geld zusammen

I think that wouldnt work, because its not just the one stripe that you can see the water on. Phones and every electronik devices which are destroyed by water can always be find out by the technicians. ( I've worked as a Technician for Notebooks by HP)

Ich war selber mal Techniker für Notebooks von HP, daher weiss ich das wasserschäden so gut wie immer erkannt werden können da das wasser bei einem kurzschluss verdunstet und somit auch spuren hinterlässt.

+ Maybe something thats to loud and destroys the speakers?
- destroys bluetooth (even after hardreset)
- destroys W-Lan (even after hardreset)
+ Regestiry entry which even stays after Hardreset?
+ deleting driver
+ Do anybody know the location of the Hardresets files, if i can delete something there (drivers, or important install files) and i hardreset that after that, it will never work (maybe after flash)
Some ideas ive already searched for and would have already used, but didnt find, so hopefully u guys know something. Thanks for any Help!

Irgendwelche Einträge in der regestry die auch nachdem Hardreset bestehen bleiben?
Kennt jemand die Hardreset-Dateien Speicherort (oder wie das mit dem Hardreset abläuft). Evtl. könnte ich da irgendwas löschen, nen treiber oder wichtige installations dateien.

yea ive heared about, great one!
but i still prefer HD2, they are almos the same, just different OS and prefer Windows Mobile.
Ja hab ich gester gesehen super.
Aber bisher kaum ein Unterschied zu HD2.
Natürlich die Betriebssysteme, die auch viel ausmachen. Android hatte ich noch nicht, ist bestimmt gut. Aber ich glaube Windows-Mobile bietet Variableres, d.h. man kann mehr installieren und etc. z.B. Dual-Boot womit man 2 verschieden Betriebssysteme abspielen kann

[Q] Suche Anleitung und Rom für Nand-Installation

Hallo,
ich benutze seit einigen Wochen die SD-Android Rom und bin vollkommen zufrieden. Jetzt habe ich mir überlegt eine Nand-Rom drauf zu packen.
Könntet ihr mir sagen mithilfe einer Anleitung wie ich diese Rom am besten installieren ohne großes Risiko und welche aktuellen Roms es gibt, die nahezu keine Bugs mehr enthalten.
Es sollte außerdem noch eine schöne Oberfläche haben und der Android Market, der auf der SD-Version nicht funktioniert auch funktionieren.
Und ist es möglich wieder die Windows Mobile Rom zu flashen ohne, dass bei einem möglichen Garantieanspruch, zu sehen ist, dass eine Custom Rom drauf war?
