newbie..

some1 plse send me the extendedromviewer.cab for MAGICIAN.. the extended tools for xdaII wont work on my magician.. dont know y..tnx

i understand you right? you wan't to have a look in your extented rom?
i thing there is no cab file who can do this. the only way i know is to make a hardreset, and after you have setup the touchpad and so on the magican begins to count down from 3 and then want to install the soft out of the ext. rom. in this moment you have to make a softreset. when the magican ist up again you have read permisson to the extented rom and must install the cab's in it by hand....... search in the forum for more details
when you want to juse the place for your own things, you shoud have a look to the actual posts from "anansky"

i have completed a soft reset upon my mda compact,to remove the t-mobile(uk) rubbish
but now i have lost my msn messgenr and gprs settings

You mean hard-reset & soft-reset to skip ext-rom from loading?
Go to the ext-rom & pick one off the cabs (in 1.13 UK probably cab-customization-magician-tmouk-03jun05.cab) that customizes your magician or go to the TMO web-site & get the settings there.

Two months ago I just had delete all the UK stuff from my magician & now I'm almost uploading it. Very strange ....

If you go to the index of the xda forum,
You will find under networking all the cabs you require or I will attach the cab now, so saves you time. I am only attaching Tmobile cabs pay as you go and contact.

Saw that the complete 1.12.152 ext-rom is available at the ftp. That's the UK one & apparently the same as I got, sorry made a typo in my folder name. With this or the previous post by apple_power you should be able to solve your problems.

Copy to your device and run. Soft reset and when you go into files on your device, you should see the conrents of the extrom revealed, asuming it works like on the Atom. Good luck

how to install BS .cab

Hi I am newbie here.I am trying to install Battery Status .CAB to my Wing.looks like it loaded,but I don't see any change.I am doing wrong.this is what I did.download the BS .cab transfer .cab to wng and run it with File Explorer.I have read guide to newbie and very confused.any help greatly appreciated.

BS is a today plugin. You need to "turn it on" in start>settings>today>items

Thanks for reply L4N I just did as you said nothing new in the Today Item.I have tried keep installing,but I don't see any changes.I am not trying to be spoon feeding.it would be nice there is step by step howto and all .CABS in file section it would help out lots of newbie like me

Did you install the cab on the main memory as programs that are on the today screen have to be installed there rather than the storage card.

I did run it from the storage card did not see any changes so I tried transfer that BS .cab from storage to Program runs it still could not see any thing new in my Wing under Today's Item.when I run the BS.cab it start at 8kb and then a few second it complete fast by looking at the blue status bar.hope that tell you guys something if I did it right.

Help with instaling WM 6

I now have wm 03se and would like to install wm 6, can you tell wich is the best for installing. I was reading wiki but i still dont understand many things.. When i open HELMI_BA_WM6_R0_Public.RAR in that rar i have a few other files, what to do with them? Is there any other ROM, and whats the diffrence...? Can anyone write step to step what to do when installing wm 06.. please is very urgent... THANKS - HVALA

yes please would love an answer to this question, not sure how to install the files for the wm6 for the SX66.

just execute
HELMI_BA_WM6_R0_.EXE and follow the step,
for other lake cab.rar put it in folder EXTROM on your storage card it will automatic execute when your finish flash.
there's alot custom rom for BA, like Explode, Sun_dream, Swampy n PDA_Viet depend which one your like and added software in the ROM
