While that rom wont install on the mogul,it would certainly be possible to make a custom mogul rom that had most of the same features.

Not extremely smooth but at the moment is the best workaround.

I was really hoping nobody would reply to these kind of threads anymore, one of these seem to pop up every week and it's always the same responses.
What's the leanest ROM out there for a Sprint Hero? By lean, I mean no Sense UI, no Sprint apps, but still full Android, all the hardware works, Market works, etc.
Is there one? If there is more than one, what seems to be people's faves?

That would be AOSP 1.6, and you need to flash the google bits as well.
ROM here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=5195520

The most current, leanest rom is Darchdroid, it's about as vanilla as you're gonna get.

But really, Regawmod is pretty good with the lack of things installed and being lean with still having sense...
Try Ic3Rom. It looks exactly like AOSP but has the speed of DamageControl and the stability of a HTC rom.
I just finished installing darthvanilla. it's pretty slick. thanks

So far it's pretty sweet. Been using it a day now. The only thing it seems to be missing that is of any consequence to me is the voicemail downloader app. There is no YouTube app either, but the .apk is linked in the thread for the ROM if you're into that. Myself not so much.

Hi all,
as the title says, will samsung apps (as far as i'm concerned the SNote and Action Memo) work on CM based ROMS?
Regards,
Zaid
If they would, don't you think they were included ?

This is not. I'm in the community since 4 years now and i know very well how it goes, but if you are like me working 16 hours a day as a civil engineer i'm sure you wont get much of a time for developing/hacking something yourself .
but thanks anyway for clearing this out.
