Need a motherboard for my 8525 - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam General

I have a unit that a co-worker dropped 8 months ago and I had it looked at, the chip was knocked loose from the motherboard. I am trying to find a broken unit cheap to replace the board. Not even sure this is worth doing unless I can find one under $100 since I can just buy a used one
Any thoughts?

Just search through the hermes thread ive seen people looking to sell phones for parts. Here is a quick one i found try sending a PM to these guys for help

want to buy jamin motherboard

I am looking for a used jamin motherboard (a working board) if anyone has one for sell. Mine is completely dead. Maybe some one here has a jamin with a broke screen and wants to sell the motherboard. or a board with something minor wrong but that still works.
Have a look in e-bay... there's lot's of spare parts for our prophet's there... Be careful with what you buy...
Yes. I have been looking on ebay with no luck yet.

Housing for my Universal

I've been looking for a complete housing for my universal.
But all the housing that I found does not have this:

:\
Does anyone know where can I buy this part?
Thanks a lot!
no one?
Sometimes hinges are sold separately on Ebay, but they are not cheap, if I remember correctly, somewhere around $25. Just have to catch them there.

Universal for parts...
After seeing several posts by members looking for Universal housings, I remembered that I have an old Universal in my closet. I had issues with the built-in WiFi when I stopped using it, but the keyboard, screen and case are all in excellent condition.
I have long since changed service providers and lost interest in troubleshooting it. If you (or anyone else here) is interested, I'll part with it for $80 plus shipping.
I have the original box and probably all of the original accessories as well (but no guarantees on that).
Send a PM or e-mail ([email protected]) with any questions.

Any HD2 spares sellers out there?

Hi all,
I have to admit I have a sneaky feeling this should not be here but I'm not sure where to put it... It's not strictly a accessory but anyway, if it is wrong, please do advise.
I'm after anyone here who has or knows of a someone that sells HD2 spares?
I obtained two screen repair HD2s - both have been tampered with previously and while the units both work fine, the front keypad ribbon is broken in two so the keys are not responding.
I have managed to source 2 LCD's but without these buttons, I'm lumbered with two units and two brand new LCD units.
Appreciate any help on this!
Thanks,
Akash

Not sure if this is much help but I did recall seeing a guy on Craigslist in Toronto selling an HD2 in mint condition except for the fact that the glass screen looked like it took a bullet. The LCD was perfect underneath and no scratches anywhere. Not quite sure how someone can do that to it and keep in mint at the same time but anyway it was posted in April and they were asking for around $300 CAN.
Thanks for that suggestion
I have actually been looking around Ebay UK (Where I am) for faulty HD2s but no one will sell them cheaply so...
Bit the bullet and requested a return on the LCD - the seller will refund me the full value back. Just wish I could get these parts as the rest of the unit is mint and given that I've already stripped the screen off (not the easiest task!), it would have been great just to put it back together in a working state.
Thanks again and if anyone does have any other suggestions in getting hold of the keypad, I would appreciate a quick note on it

Best Source For Replacement Screen/Digitizer?

Hi All,
One of my family members broke their Nexus 4; tripped and fell and threw the phone across the pavement... cracked front screen and no touch response. Thus, I need to find a replacement screen and digitizer with front housing. Does anyone know of a good place to an original part besides etradesupply (they have been out of stock for a while)?
Thanks,
Joe
Why not sell it on ebay for spares or repair and get another one with the proceeds (new or secondhand)? Thereby neatly side-stepping the problem by giving it to others!
I don't know how much I could sell it for. I think replacing the screen would still end up cheaper than buying a new one. Anyone know a reputable ebay seller?

[Q] Replacement screen ...

Damn and double damn! Took my S4 out of my pocket (front) yesterday and it wouldn't work. Tried to brush what I thought was a hair off the screen and realised that it was a crack .... So, a new screen/digitiser is needed. Can anyone recommend a seller in the UK (or, someone in the UK recommend a seller TO the UK)? Don't mind if it's Fleabay or elsewhere, just as long as they sell what they say they sell .... I've found a few on Fleabay who seem legit but you never know ....
Thanks.
So, after some messing about I found that a local repair shop to me could supply and fit a new screen/digitiser for £99.99. Took him about 10 minutes as I'd already taken the phone apart Yes, I could have saved some money by buying via Fleabay but the extra gives me 6 months warranty. Now got what looks like a new phone.
