How can I assign the CommManager function to a hardware button?
After installing the latest official WM6 ROM from HTC (version 3.13.404.1 NLD) on the HTC P3300, the CommManager app does not show up in the "Assign to:" list, neither for hardware buttons nor for the Start menu.
Does anyone know how to change this in the registry? Thanks from a noob.
try using Hbutton - works very well and it's a great application...

I read from the user manual of Universal (Dopod 900) that we can in fact close the active program (rather than just minimizing) by "Ctrl + Q".
It works usuing the soft keyboard. But anybody knows how we can do the same using the hardware keyboard of Universal?

Is it possible to configure the hardwarebuttons in the Dialer Program?
In previous devices (e.g. S100) it was possible to start "Speed dial" or "call log" by pressing "left" or "right" on the "navipad". This makes using the device with one hand very comfortably.
On the s200 it´s not possible any more. Perhaps it´s a WM5 "bug".
Is it possible to change this by a registry hack?
Instead it would be also usefull to configure the left or right soft key in the Dialer program. Standard is Contacts and Menu.

Hi! I have a HTC TyTn and I have a trouble with the possibility to reassign the functions to the hardware buttons START and OK in the front of the device in the D-Pad. Infact, In my previous device, a Qtek S200, I was to be able to assign a different shortcut (for example, in replacement of the OK button, I put the wisbar lite task manager link).
I have also tried AE Button Plus, but che Start and OK remains hold on.
Is there anyway to activate this possibility?

I'm also interested in this. Is there any way to reassign the functions of the "start" (windows) and "ok" buttons to the left and right of the d-pad on the hermes?
AE Button plus, but I have found it twitchy on the TyTN. If you only map those two buttons, you should experience little trouble though.
Hi all,
I found a cab file which can be used to reassign the functionality of the Backlight Button on my universal to anything in Programs.
I was wondering if such a cab can also be made/already exists for the Sym button.. Basically what I need is a registry tweak which will make this button appear in the Start->Settings->Buttons aswell...
Coz' for someone like me, this button is a regal waste and i'd love to put it to better use..

Any one knows how to activate OK Button on my P3600? I have AX3L WM 6.
There must be a registry setting. Software button and Button setting does not include this button and the one on the left.
