Hi,
On my sons Iphone, he gets stock quotes with a push on an icon...
Can this be done with a Diamond?

Something like this maybe? I'm working on it.

I'm not sure yet. I just started playing around with it a few days ago in my spare time. I'll probably post a beta within a couple weeks, or maybe tomorrow, who knows.

WOW...this may save me another grand (by not getting the HD) if you can get that running. I like the appearance and format, as well as the research options.

Right now, just using http://wireless.etrade.com. Not as fast, and interested in getting it into a tab in TF3D (see there is manila files from the HD already on this site, so may get my wish). I like the format of this one much better, so may run both (depending on final product, and visibility of all the markets).

I'm all good with competition. I was really just doing it for myself, but I saw a few threads like this one and thought others might enjoy it too. If you like it, help me make it better. If you like something else, that's cool too, post a link for others.

This matches my theme much better, so you are my favorite person today as well. I will run both yours, and the TF3D tab from the HD. I like your format much better. The HD tab will give me quick glance, but your tab will help me make decisions wirelessly before I buy/sell on my E*Trade account.

So I am very pleased with the great work there has been done..
Alas, I can not install it because my diamond refuses to install Net CF 3.5.
I get an errormessage about freeing space (lots of space left) and about a "errormessage" 2
Can somebody please help?

I agree the Equity Expert is very nice VGA stock quotes applications and its also ready to work with the Touch HD, Omnia and Xperia devices !

Actually screen shots would come in handy since the company I work for has blocked video sites like youtube and metacafe. So now I have to hold myself silly till I get home to check out the vid

xPect, ill try it out tomorrow! But my general ISP (at home) has blocked the link you gave me. lol our ISP is a tyrant. (nation wide too - look up Etisalat).
eAzYE666, I do and it did not occur to me to use it lol. I guess it didnt because currently I dont have a data package because my ISP (referred to lovingly above) charges U$D130 for 10GB which I think is too much since I am already paying U$D120 for a 4mb DSL line at home.

Thanks for posting that. It looks very promising. I just wish they would've gone into the non-professional part of the application. We briefly saw the widgets but he didn't go into it at all. Maybe that part isn't quite ready for public display.

It's always interesting to see how people can not respond to the questions asked.
The video linked to in 1st posting is a good example for that.

Naughty by Nature Theme + music Giveaway (wm6.1 Rhodium)

Some months ago, hoping to win a Touch Pro2 from Microsoft and Naughty by Nature, I entered a contest on facebook. I didn't win the device, but I did win a Naughty by Nature theme by xda-devs' own PROBEX. I didn't have anything to put it on, and if I had, I'm not a huge fan. So it has sat unused.
I figure someone should enjoy it, so I'm looking for someone to give it to. FYI, I believe it to be winmo6.1 only. I'm not sure xda-devs is the best place to find a TP2 user still on 6.1, but there is music too. Windows Mobile told me that the prize pack zip includes "Naughty's new single, the .cab file of the TouchFlo 3D Naughty By Nature skin, as well as the full Independent Leaders CD".

I do. You're first in line at the moment, though I do want to hold it open long enough that interested developers and cooks can get a shot. They've enhanced my WinMo experience, so I'd like to do the same for them. Do you have winmo6.1 still?

Yeah, I ended up getting the Verizon version a couple of weeks ago. I got a good deal, and I like the black better than chrome, but free would have beat it . I was really close to being the first post too. If I hadn't paused from reloading to go get a drink...

No problem, i understand, I am currently running 6.5 BUT for that theme I would change in a minute lol.

There's still time (maybe) to develop an award winning zoom bar hack to boost your ranking

Would love to but in the middle of putting together my Rom and putting the finishing touches on the dusk dialer graphics to work on the att dialer so I can cab it up for others that dont use my rom.

I do it freely. Trying to give back to a forum that has givin me so much. The rom in my sig is still in beta stage thats why no thread yet, working on an issue with mp4 playback. And of course the ATT dusk Dialer.

Yes the ATT version shipped with 6.5, but in the process of getting my Tilt 2 My wife went out and got me an unlocked one that has 6.1 on it still. I use that one for work while the tilt 2 is for building and learning

HTC HD2 - A Love story.

So, I've allways been a half way geek. Never to patient with learning to much of anything - and most of the time pretent to know more than i do.
Maybe more a Gadget Fan than a geek.. d;
So about 8 days ago i resived my HTC HD2, long awaited. And since i never had any other experience other than regular cells or Symbian OS, I figured it would a challenge using WM...
Cause I promised myself never to turn to apple.. NEVER!
SO about me thinkin it was going to be hard - God was I right. But never than less I had my play around with it, and looking at it now, im learning to love it more as the days go by..
Soo..
Thing's I like (+):
Huge screen (Bright and Beautyfull)
Sleek Design and great build quality. (Exept for the cam sticking out like that)
The posibiliy's for play with almost anything, and customize it as you like.
Thing's I'm not to crazy about (-):
Lags and failurs happent few times (daily)
The matter of time I have to use to find new apps. (I Blame MS)
And me beeing a noob still cant figur it all out yet.
To round up all this I just want to say that this is goin to be a phone Im going to hold on to, and love to start exploring to posibilitys in WM.
Im allready making some icons since I'm a great PS nerd. Going to share them at some point.
A few unsolved issues (I looked around to answer with no luck) to mention.
1. In the reviews the slidebar include Twitter AND facebook. But i can only add or remove Twitter for some reason. How do you add other programs to the slide bar?
2. How do I take a screenshot on the phone? (would love to share my scrren of the day )

Glad that you're happy, in general. I don't think that you can add Facebook to the "Slider" AKA Home Screen Tabs (although I wouldn't be surprised if there is a Registry hack somewhere on this site. I'm guessing that you know you can add it to your Quick Links?
I'm sure I read somewhere on here about a tool to do screenshots too. Seach and discover (hopefully).

Here is score and a few things it did not do so well on. Looks like its good for basic browsing.

Its kinda a taste to what I think android will become. The same Dev has a few other floating. Apps. Like a calculator.

definitely cool enough to drop a buck and a half on. I played with it for a few minutes and then moved on but when the time comes and I need a couple browsers at the ready Ive got an app for that!

If any developers are interested in how he's doing it, he's registering the app as a service and drawing to the notification layer which also allows you to intercept (and act upon) touch events.
Not saying this app is doing it, but beware of apps that request those permissions, they could in theory log every touch on your screen.

Chrome Beta does much better

Chrome beta scores 350 approx already... guess they might add such feature in the future

That is pretty slick. They have a calculator that does the same thing too. True multitasking here we come!

had this since i read about it on...... where was it, phandroid or android central, one of the two.
definetly worth the money. don't use it that much but its really nice when i do.
tip: leave browser defaults unchecked, so your tab prompts you to choose a browser and you can choose overskreen. its like window's "open link in new window"
