Hi!
Just got my JasJar.
Altough I have configured the machine for MMS reception, I cannot write them:
-if I try to write them from the "Message" program, can't find the account
-if I try to write them from another application which has images (as per the used manual), I get the "send as MMS" option, but when I select it nothing happends.
Anybody has the same problem?
Any solution?
Come on... I know someone knows about this... PLEASE

MMS settings with T-Mobile USA
Has anyone gotten this to work? Using the settings I had from the PDA2k, Himalaya, just don't seem to work when sending the message to a phone number. It just remains in the draft section.
I got my MMS settings working, and I'm able to send and receive. I don't see the error you mention. Although, after attempting a couple test mms messages, I can't get to add the photo or video clip audio clip, just the text. Time for a soft reset.
MMS is working fine for me (send and receive). problem is there's this annoying message that my phone is in Flight Mode whenever it tries to connect thru GPRS. I just ignore it. better than not working at all.
its strange.it works for me. try setting a "work connection" and configure outlook for using work connections

Hi,
Anyone know how can I use the camera (inside one, next to the screen) to record MMS Videos? I can only seem to use the outside one for MMS videos. For normal video/photos I can select either.
I want to record a clip of myself and it's hard to centre when I'm using the external one.
Any help would be appreciated!
(Using O2 Exec)
Hi
I have never tried to do video direct from the MMS soft. I always just record the video or photo then attach the saved video/photo to the new MMS message.
I just checked and as you i can not find a way to change camera if you try to import video direct from the camera into the MMS app.
I've been receiving MMS's with attachments, but i'm unsure how to view the picture thats attached. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to be in the EDGE area to get these messages? Can someone please guide me? Maybe the pictures are automatically downloaded somewhere else?
called cingular for support, had some setting wrong. all good now.
the always show up really tiny
I dont know what it is since the same pictures are sent to my brothers DASH and he gets larger images
the max size they come in is at 11K
I think I had the same problem on my Prophet with O2
See:

I tried it and it still receives small MMS files
can anyone help me?
Are you and your brothers on the same network? If not your provider may be compressing the data.
Have you tried saving the picture and opening it through your regular picture viewer app. When you receive an MMS you can save all the "objects" seperately. Like the text object, the picture object, the audio object. I do this with any picture MMS I receive. This will also allow you to zoom the picture if needed.
Yes we are on the same network
but i fixed the problem
i set the MMS registry to match his and now its working
thank you all!
hi i have a x1 on o2 uk.. whenever i recieve a picture message the pictures are very tiny is there a way to fix this?
yeah there is i downloaded 3 files installed to and it works now cnt remember what they are but there are links on here simwhere
when on SMS message screen
menu>MMS Options> Photo resolution: Original
i think that is it
i checked and the photo resolution is already set to original
I think these setting refer to when you send mms, and not when you receive. Did you ask the people sending you the mms, if they have some setting that compress the image?
its with anyone who sends an mms, ive got 5 different people to try
Hey, yes it's a problem that occurs when you change from the original rom on your phone, because the operator will normally customise the mms settings for your phone and their network. It's quite an easy fix though, look at the bottom 3 posts here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=531527
