Need a Screen Replacement

Yes, I got the dreaded cracked screen after I dropped my device. Can someone tell me where I can buy another screen or a replacement one. I have been on EBay and that did not have any luck.

if its any of the xda's 1,2 or S, u can buy it from www.pdasmart.com . Efficent service and the cheapest ones as well.. but mate if its executive or jasjar..then u r screwed..cause i broke mine few days back..n i got a replacement from imate at a cost of $180.

ok today was a great day I found a place in US that will fix JasJars broken/cracked lLCD Screens. $250 = new screen and they install it.

250 sounds a lot. how much is a new jasjar over there?

I am not sure how much they are selling for, I am not even sure any of the couriers (Cigualar, Tmobile, Sprint) even have them on their radar to start selling them. I was one of the lucky ones at a Microsoft PDC and bought mine for $150. I can tell you after I broke my lcd I worked with IMATE for a repair and they wanted $200 for a new LCD, but they could not tell me what the labor charge would be and I would have to pay for shipping to and from United Arab Emerates which from the TNT shipping company looked to be $80 each way. So I saw $200 + Labor charge $50 to $100 + 80 + 80 = $410 or $460 and did not feel the device was worth that.
I did put in a "Want it now" search in EBay and everyone wanted $200 or more just for the LCD panel
My thought was I was having a heck of a time 3 weeks to even find anyone who would sell a LCD or fix the device themselves. I tried many places in UK and Canada with no luck. This place was in USA (so i could bug them easier on what was happen) and seems to have a good reputation on the web.

Kaiser Replacement LCD ?

My 2 weeks old Kaiser slipped from my hands and the LCD broke !! I am looking for a good repair shop in Belgium or any links from which I can procure a new LCD screen real fast! Any pointers would be helpful. Also, does anyone know if the LCD screen is covered under the HTC warranty ??

whipout ur htc carepack, call the number nearest you. They probably would fix it for you for a small charge. Keep in mind, repair shops aren't htc specialists.... So my suggestion is that you contact htc and see what they can do for you.

my girlfriend just got her LCD cracked from a roller coaster (stupid safety bars). probably going to take a few weeks for us to get a replacement screen since they don't even sell the kaiser here.
she keeps subconsciously trying to touch the screen on her interm dumb-phone... and sighs.

do it yourself! buy a replacement screen on ebay, and look for replacement instructions on this forum

how easy does the screen crack if you drop it? just for arguments sake shouldn't the phones be able to sustain a reasonable drop? After all you are constantly using it in your hands so it is likely you would drop it at least once.

Well, I've taken up a hobby of repairing all makes/models of phone that I can get parts for, so I'd be exceptionally grateful if you could provide some info as to WHERE and HOW you get them so cheaply....

there are a few shopping mall in china that sell only spare part for pc, mobile phones and all micro electronics part.
and because most of the oem and third party parts are all made in china, its always cheaper to buy from there, I travel to china a lot, and in search for some parts, I did come across some tytn II parts.
but then you need to live in china or hong kong just like me, so you can go back and forward.
I can also let you know that only micro electronics parts and mobile spare parts are cheaper in china, PC stuff are cheaper in hong kong, as well as back up service.
you need to go to wha qheung ( my own english translation) street along the china railway system, most of them do bulk buy and send overseas, but its best to be there in person, as you cannot trust them sometime.
next time i'll get the address when I go over again, but i'll don't think you will travel there.

I can sell you the main board and it has Black Majik already installed on it. It is 100% working and I will shipping is around $25.00. The other board has vp3G's WM6 v3.61 loaded on it. Both were tested and work great.

Hi, I'm really interested in the front assembly (buttons, front case, harness)...I got mine used, and it was not treated kindly One of the big problems is the 'mail' button doesn't click- I think that is part of the harness, but I don't know. If you have all (or some) of those pieces let me know. What is a reasonable price? Thanks!

Back battery and camera cover

Can i find this (as set or one to one part) anywhere cheaper than ebay?
I mean ,any chinese store or something else which support paypal and shipping to Greece.
I bought a few days ago the digitizer for 8.90 dollars (from chinese store ,no ebay) ,so i think that battery and camera covers is little expensive (14 dollars).

Broken Screen

Hi everyone,
This weekend, i destroyed my new G6 :crying:.
I'll look in a shop for change the screen or order it here https://www.witrigs.com/replacement-parts-for-lg-g6.
But i have a few question.
The phone is IPxx Can i or the repairer guarantee that the phone still waterproof or it's dead ?
And this site is a good one or i'll get a ****ty screen ?

Once screen is replaced no guarantee for the water resistant of it anymore.
It's a pretty easy job to do yourself.

If you go to an authorized LG service center, they will guarantee the waterproof after the operation. The double sided adhezive tape costs about 6 euros. At least it cost me here in Romania, at the LG Service. I had to replace my simcard/microsd reader last month. But the phone still has it's waterproofing.

In my country its 90€ the screen and windows, with frame aluminium or not is same price, on amazon France
If you are on usa you can order on amazon.com for 90$ no frame(grey and white, no black) , and 115$ with frame (grey white and black)
