Not receiving text messages after registry tweaks/rom upgrad

I haven't received any text messages since I've done some registry tweaks or maybe its related to the rom upgrade? spoke to cingular support but they were unable to fix it right then and are looking into it.
Anyone else had text issues or have any suggestions on a fix? Any help is
appreciated. I am able to send text messages and they are being received by the recipient.

Are you talking about SMS or EMS/MMS? If you are expecting to receive MMS, then you must configure that account on your Outlook. If it is plain SMS, then you should be receiving them automatically. If not, then something is indeed screwy on your system.

Forwarding SMS

When I receive a SMS, there's not option to forward it to another phone number. Is this normal in WinMo?

Same with mine. I've been searching for a way to add forwarding to my sms system.
I've searched and searched. Came up empty.

if you have the threaded conversation sms option turned off (via xperia tweak) then you can easily forward text messages..
but i guess you have conversational style text messages on?

if so, open up your text message
use the up button to highlight the message

: forward

Bizarrely you can also find it under REPLY in the menu:-
REPLY includes the options Reply To All and FORWARD

sms inbox

Hi,
I couldnt find another topic about this so i made 1.
In my touchflo3d i can only see 25 texts and when i go to windows mobile texts i can only see 1 for each day up to 15 texts in my inbox and i cant find my other texts i received. i can see all the texts i have send.
Anyone know where i can see these.
And does anyone has a program to put a password on my texts.

Did you ever find a solution to this? Or at least a way of copying old messages to a folder perhaps?

Its a simple program to lock certain areas, like SMS, Email, etc. There are also a number of solutions that automatically move incoming SMS to a secure location, so your SMS stay accessible, but not the ones you want to hide...

still no solution to show more than:

-99 mails

forwarding a sms

hi all
i have tried searching for the answer but cant find it in the forums,so excuse me if this has been asked b4
when i receive a message which i like 2 or 3 text msgs long when i goto forward it it only displays the text that can fit into 1 msg,the only way i can do this is to use copy and paste!!
is there a setting to change or is this the only way to do it?
using standard wm6.1 from htc

Unfortunately there is a limit to amount of text you can send in one msg (160 characters).
If you want to send more than 160 characters it'll need to be 2 or more msgs. Alternatively you could send a mms using a word document

I am currently working on an application that will auto reply to text messages when enabled. Reason behind this is in Canada it is illegal to use your handset while driving. I plan on expanding the pre-defined messages.

Have you checked out MagiCall at all? Doesn't have a very nice interface, but it's very powerful and versatile. You can use it to change outgoing dialed numbers (ie:for calling cards etc), auto reply to incoming SMS messages, as well as run commands and programs on incoming SMS messages.
I use it to auto-reply to anyone in my "Friends" categories if they call or text me during an appointment in my calendar.
