I've used this headset for about a year, first with an Eten x500 and now with the tilt. Performance has been near perfect. On the tilt, I've never had a dropped signal while playing music, sound quality is decent, works with MS voice command. I don't know much about the manufacturer or support as I haven't had any issues with the device.

Oh, I also assumed it was bluetooth, lol, I guess I should read more closely.
go to ebay.com & search 3.5mm usb adaptor for your model & when you get that purchase sony ericsson walkman phone ear buds.
till date i think sonywalkman phone has best in ear headset.
top quality & with extra bass.
i have tried & it works for me.
some thing like that

I'm not 100% sure, but i suspect it may be utilised by the replacement battery cover for the official HTC car kit, which charges the battery when clamped on.
Just a guess, though. I have been wondering about it myself.
Regards,
BHLC
its for the car mount
GG
does anyone have its pinout?
1 is GND
2 ????
3 +5V
Thanks.
And this plots (both sides), that seem to be connected by the back cover?

I suspect these are to stop the back cover from becoming loose and rattling. if you press them they are spring loaded.

I think the back cover is used like antenna. These plots are used to connect the back cover to the rest of the electronics.
It is most probably for the official car kit. It was supposed to have a different back cover that allowed for mounting on the kit and charging. This car kit however has now changed design. HTC have designed a kit that uses the usb port to charge. see here http://wmpoweruser.com/?p=12298

Did you replace the touchscreen yourself?
If so then I suggest dismantling again and:
1
Check the gold coloured spring connections between earpiece speaker and daughter board - these can get bent in and lose contact with the board. (speaker is the white block with two gold contacts sticking up)

I have found this kind of problem in the past. Sometimes the only solution I have found is a hard reset and re-entering all the settings again
Just sometimes I succeeded with an app called hitchhiker but I'm not sure it's still available. I used it to make the settings and then connect then after that I would connect normally.
Mike
i will try hard reset but my wifi was working perfect before change the earspeaker
This morning the uk 1.29 update arrived, I checked the bluetooth audio out to my amp, it now works perfectly
I left wifi on and connected, bluetooth audio works without a hitch. I even went on youtube to check the wifi being busy didnt upset it
Happy days, I love this phone
I just got the update but I am at work - Bluetooth is the most important fix for me - Can't wait to get home to try if it is fixed for me.
I had a few problems with the BT audio on my car with this particular phone, so I'll check again next time I drive. Thanks for the heads-up
I have a vast improvement on my hifi at home but still massive issues in my car as the other cannot hear me although I can hear them.
Anyone else having issues?
Does your car radio have its own mic? Mine has a separate mic for bt calls, that has always worked ok. Maybe check through the radio settings and make sure the mic is on and turned up if its adjustable, then delete the pairing with the phone and make a fresh connection. I think that would fix it, good luck
My bluetooth is broken. I have two, a Motorola and a Plantronics headsets. Both are either low on volume with distortion or giving echo to the called person. I opened a ticket. Will see what the issue is. I have 1.29.Xxxx, the latest build.
Mine shipped with 1.29.1540 and I have no bluethooth issues. The only time I heard it skipped was when I was walking away from the phone.
In my car it is perfect, I listened to 2hr of music today with BT and not a single skip.

Hi everyone,
Now we have holidays ( I love it :victory: ) and a lot of free time. During the school year I studied a lot but now I can play with my lego bricks
So a few days ago I thought about annoying problem with my phone and charging it.
All time I'd like to charge my phone I have to push away my bed, plug charger to the socket and then plug the phone to the USB cable. So I thought I could build a robot which would plug charger to the socket if I turned it ( my robot ) on.
I was building it for three days ( with long breaks for sleep, meals, etc. ) and I think it wasn't easy. I have built also a charging dock for (my) the best phone -> Samsung Galaxy SIII mini
CHARGER NXT 2.0 FOR SAMSUNG GALAXY SIII MINI

I'm really satisfied with the resuls To build I have used NXT brick, one servo motor, one touch sensor and a light sensor. I used a lot of varous bricks from 9695 and 8547 sets.
How does it work?
If you want to charge your phone you have to only put your phone in the charging dock and turn on robot. When you turn program on, the lamp will also turn on. If it is green, your phone will charge. If it is red, you have to click "PLUG" and then your phone will charge. That's all
Let's see what I have done
Some photos(they are really big, I'm sorry)

Hello! I own a Skoda Octavia mk2 2008/2009 and I would like to upgrade the stereos in it. Current ones do not include bluetooth, but thats something I would love to have in it. I have thought about android stereos and something else, but seems like android would fit best? What do you think? It should work with all dashboard buttons the default stereo also works with. I have seen multiple different chinese brands in aliexpress, but I'm not sure which has the best sound quality.
My current stereo:

Now to the real question:
What stereo would you suggest for ~150-200€ budget WITH bluetooth? Would be awesome if you also knew that it would 100% fit.
Thank you!
Hi, i bought this from European site for 85$:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000046636557.html?spm=a2g0s.12269583.0.0.4c041ae9COaKGp
I was quite surprised, it works quite fast, it is just sleeping (not turned) but does not draw much power when off (just like sleeping tablet).
Wheel buttons work, radio has strong signal. This version has only 1gb of ram, it is enough for preinstalled software but fe waze or spotify is a little slow.
Preinstalled Sygic works great but does not provide traffic info.
Beware different frame size as seen in picture, i bought used but if you are not as lucky, new costs around 1000CZK.
I also installed this launcher:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=altergames.carlauncher&hl=cs
I am sure you can find even more satisfying radio for 150+ USD, there are some models with 4GB ram and Android 10.
Is there any models you suggest for 150+ USD? I can't really find any.. :c
Hard to suggest something i am not familiar with, try to look here:
https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesal...&minPrice=120&maxPrice=200&page=1&groupsort=1
Take a look at this:
https://www.erisin.com/erisin-es272...b-carplay-for-skoda-superb-octavia-p0542.html
I have a unit for Mercedes and I'm very satisfied.
I bought mine from Pumpkin and its ok.
Make sure to buy a unit which will be delivered with an can-bus adapter for Skoda|VW!
As your car is a before-facelift model, be aware that not everything will work (parking distance, changing climate).
Also keep an eye on the battery, because on this building year the new radio can drain the battery empty.
