I have a problem with my SPV M700 this morning when wake up alarm went off at 8am. It has been fine for the past 5 months but for some strange reason, when it went off this morning it cannot be stopped! Usually, it will give me an option to dismiss the alarm but this option is no longer there. I thought the most obvious solution was to reset the device but after the reboot the alarm just keep going off again!
At the moment I'll have to set the phone on Silent mode as the alarm is driving be bonkers!
If anyone have any solution then please help me!

My Uni was synced to my PC via USB cable when a Reminder came up. I clicked "Dismiss" in Outlook's popup window, thinking it would automatically dismiss the reminder from the phone as well (like it usually does).
However, to my annoyance, IT KEPT ON RINGING! I picked up the phone to switch off the reminder manually, but, to my amazement, it wasn't there anymore! The phone kept playing an alarm sound for a reminder that had already been dismissed!!
Two soft-resets later and it's still playing! Is there any way to switch the damn thing off without a hard reset? Just installed a bunchload of new apps on it, don't want to have to go through it again....
I have the same problem with my Dash. I set an alarm for 8:40pm. The alarm went off, I turned off the alarm and even changed the alarm to a different time. Every day the alarm goes off at 8:40pm. its crazy!
in the morning i woke up by the alarm which was set to 7 AM, after i woke up i dismissed it and everything was ok.
the problem is, the alarm rang all by itself at about 9:30 AM without being set to that time!!!! it did it in the middle of the lecture which was soo embarrassing.
i got it out of my pocket (it was set to vibrate) and looked at the taskbar and there was no alarm icon or notification whatsoever, so i ended up shutting the phone down till i finished.
can anyone help me with that?

Slight problem my alarm sliders have vanished so when my alarm goes off in the morning I have to unlock the phone then access reminders then dismiss them what a pain first thing in a morning lol
any help out there to restore them ? other than a hard reset !
Hey guys, let me start off by saying thanks all the people who run and donate their time to this site. I have followed xda for many years now and for all the untyped thank yous I say it now. One issue I have had with the Vibrant is that my Alarm using the default Alarm and Clock app is not working properly. I will set it to a certain time but when the time comes the screen lights up but thats it...no sound, no vibration, nothing. I thought at first maybe it was because the phone was on silent but I checked my settings and had it checked to where the alarm would still turn on. I then also tried the Alarm without the phone being on silent and it was the same problem. Is there some noob thing I'm missing here? Phone is rooted, fyi. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
Got a very weird problem. The other day while setting up my alarm to wake me up, my phone crashed. I rebooted, no problems.... at least so i thought.
Now my alarm keeps waking me up at 06:00am every day, while in my alarm settings all three my alarms are off! The alarm works normally, i can dismiss or snooze it.
What i tried so far: soft resetting and changing all alarm settings. no effect.
What i dont want to do: reinstall
Can anyone please give me the registry key for the alarm and tell me how to fix this? Thanks!
