Problem when flashing new ROM

Hi!
I am facing a strange problem with my brother's Cingular branded 8525. Non of the new WM6.1(or even wm6) roms are working with his phone except the one Build 19949 released by PNT dated 02-06-2008 (CE OS 5.2.19949 Build 19949.1.2.0.PNT.Full.rar) & the official roms for Hermes.
The major problem faced after trying to put any latest roms is that we are not able to see any pictures in any of the application. (e.g today screen, dialer skin, WMP skin, even photos taken from the camera). Top & bottom bar are ok, Os is booting without flash/welcome screens. After flashing /during booting we get a white screen insted of flash screen/welcomescreen.
Please help!!

Ever occured to you that you are in the wrong forum? Magician and Wizard (K-Jam) are very different devices. So I am sure you'll have a much better luck getting your question answered in Wizard forum.

Original O2 branded XDA NEO(Prophet) WM5 Rom is badly needed

I badly need original O2 branded XDA NEO(Prophet) WM5 Rom.
Can any one please share it here, it will be very much appriciated.

Thanks a lot for your great helping mind.
I have tried with those, but both of the files are only for update existing O2 neo rom, not updates the prophet which is flashed once with other roms. So now the boot screen has been changed to Qtek, but I like the O2 boot screen, and now I can't get back that O2 boot screen.
So now is there any way to recover or change to the O2 boot screen?

u can change logo to not only o2 original but any thing u want... the main screen, the logo screen, and windows start up screen all can b changed via "splash screen change"....look @ here

Orange branded Jade question.

Hi all, im thinking of getting a Touch 3G (Jade) as a second phone, my first being a touch Diamond 2, and am thinking of buying one from E-Bay orange branded.
My question is if i get one, it seems i can get it sim unlocked easy enough, but once i get it sim unlocked can i dol the hspl and flash any rom i want as i have been doing with my diamond 2? Or will being originally a branded Orange one prevent me from doing this?

You can easily SIM unlock it via ebay, i did it this way. And after that when you do HSPL you can put whatever ROM you want.

Ok i have bought a Touch 3g that was Orange branded, i have purchased the sim unlocking utility from Olinex, got hard spl running and tried a few roms to see which suits me, but whichever rom i use i am still getting the Orange start screen before the rom loads up. Not to big a problem really but if possible i would like to remove it, any ideas guys n gals ?

i think it is called a bootloader screen their is a solution to change the same u need to search as i dont remember the thread look in windows development thread and development and hacking thread im sure u will find what u want

I'm using an Orange branded Touch, after flashing a 6.5 rom it changed the boot picture to the HTC one, then I went back to a 6.1 rom because I like the start button at the top.

u also have 6.5 with start button at the top chek tommys 1.7 series they have top start buttom

Thanks for that, I think I'll try that and PDAVIET V31, they're both built on the same core, but each cook put their own touches on them.

Help needed for my HTC HD

Hi Guys!
I just traded my iphone to a HTC HD as I love the huge screen and wanted to have a change.The problem is that every time I switch it on, the HTC logo is discolored and same goes with the Windows 6.1( the green screen ) All I'm doing is push the power button off and on again and it the screen will be ok. I'm not sure if the previous owner did with this HD but I would like to have it fixed?I tried hard reset already but still the same.
Anybody have the same experience before or knows how to fix it? There are no other issues actually aside from that.
Hope you guys can help me out

As far as I remember this display discolorment had to do something with bad flash..
Try to reflash the ROM or flash another one...
there are tons of guides on this forum so just google how to flash...you should be ok then...

I tried flashing with a ROM I downloaded at HTC website and still the color if off when i switch is on from off. Please help me out guys. I saw in one thread here that the problem was fixed by changing the Radio ROM.Any idea guys?

Hello, I have same problem. I tried 3 diferent original rom but no effect.

when i flash my handset ROM I had same problem and I almost got attack becoz i love my handset.... But I found one International HTC Touch HD ROM (Not From HTC site its crap). you can check with XDA ROM wiki it must be there only.
I forget name I'll let u know if i came across with my ROM Version.
after installing International ROM its back 2 normal condition and now its working awesome
