Hi guys,
Good day!
Can somebody help me regarding my Bluetooth?
How can I make it directly save to my external memory? Coz everytime I connect and receive file using my Bluetooth. I always go directly to my main memory.
Thanks in advance

it works well for receiving files it's great
The only sad thing is that it doesn't shows the progress of your 'file sending' to others.
but it's a great piece of software Go moBlue !
to change your destination file location
just goto the communication manager -> bluetooth settings -> -> services -> file transfer -> click on advanced button and in the screen select your destination directory....
hope it helps
thanks man!

For all those who has problems with the new dopod wm6 network error you can now copy these files into your windows folder it will ask to overwrite select yes to all and then you can reset (optional) go into settings again and you will see another network icon which can be used for all.
You can use total commander which i think is the best file explorer

Cheers for that duttythroy.
I had done it manually before, but prefer the automation of the wizard.

Hi... I've a problem with bluetooth... i can send file but I can't receive files from other device... they said failed... uff... what can I do?
go to start-settings-connections-beam and enable the options that you see. then go to the manager comm-bluetooth-ftp and activate bluetooth explorer.
Bluetooth Error
I have same problem with mine. Changed settings as suggested but still can't receive files. All help is appreciated.
What's the other device?
I think it might have something to do with an OBEX regedit needing to be done...not sure what it is exactly but check the wiki...

Hello Guys, i wonder if we can set receiving file from BT to go into Internal storage? because as I know the default memory for the receiving files is on the phone memory.
Is there any registry tweak to set so it can refers to Internal memory?
sorry for my English
thanks before
Me too loking for the same thing. Any help please.
use this app: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2663961&postcount=139 to set the incoming bt files to the internal storage
You can do the following steps so as to do it :
1) go to start-->settings-->connections-->bluetooth-->ftp
and enable both the 2 checkboxes there. down there push browse button and select internal storage or even a folder in your internal storage that you want to save the files that they send you via bluetooth.
2) push ok and you are ready
3) if you don't want the bluetooth sharing then you just go to the menu start-->settings-->connections-->bluetooth-->ftp and you uncheck the 2 checkboxes. the bluetooth folder however stays the same and it works.
check this if works to you too.
Thanks 4 the util info

[Update]

Hi I upgraded to 1.66 and since doing so I no longer have the Bluetooth program available to add to my quicklinks. This was available when using 1.43 so seems a bit weird that it's missing from the more recent ROM. Is there a way of getting it back as its a pain having to go through settings - all settings - bluetooth everytime I want to look at my paired devices. If I go through Com Manager I can obviously turn it on and off there but if I click on bluetooth from there it only performs a search and asks me to repair everytime.
I did do a search and couldn't find anything that answered my question.
Thanks
I asked a similar question but then sorted it myself.
Copy the shortcut for the BT manager from windows programs to the startup/progroms folder [so you can select it via the windown button] and you can then add it to quiclinks - but might not need/want to as it is just a windows-button click away

I've just tried to do as you've said but couldn't find it where you've stated. After searching on the phone found BTManager is in the Windows folder itself and needs to be copied to Start Menu/Programs I then put it in the tools folder to keep it together with activesync and the other tools just in case anyone else needs it.
Where exactly does a file get saved when I recieve it via Bluetooth?
Using the standard Bluetooth app that was in rom ver 1.66...
If it saves it to the phone memory, is there any way of saving it to the starage card?
Any help will be appreciated!
Regards,
Alan
PS Thanks for the replies!
look in my documents. possibly in received files. if you set up the transfer yourself it usually gives you the option to set thee local file to whatever you like.
