If its the HTC Touch IM client your running on your Mogul, its not going to work....The software only runs on the Touch.
Do a forum search, there has been a lot of discussion about it.

I am currently running Schaps rom and love it. The only problem is my apps (skype, aim) will not connect over the 3g network, only wifi. I am assuming I overlooked something stupid. Any ideas?

If you give a little more information, including which Schaps ROM you have, someone could probably help. But first read through the whole thread dedicated to that ROM, cuz chances are someone else has experienced what you have.

I am using the Schap's 3.54b and I was not able to find the information I am looking for. I figured out how to load the bootloader and ROM without any questions but this mundane detail has me stumped. I also cant figure out why my applications are defaulting to my 3g connection when there is perfectly good wifi available.
Sry I was just laying the groundwork for someone else to help. I've never used Schap's ROM. Although did you post in that thread too? Because that would be a better place.
I have been searching everywhere for an OZ Client for the Mogul, I had one that installed ok, but it gave me an error whenever you logged in. Has anyone seen a version of the app that works on the Mogul? This would be awesome if we could find one, I liked the app on my 8525
For those interested, the OZ client Coinstar99 mentioned is in this PPCGeeks thread. It is reported that this client does not work on the Mogul (I've tried) or the Apache, but works on the Touch. I've also attached some files I've looked into in the same thread. Please look into it!
Man, we are meeting everywhere aren't we? Like I said at Sprint Users, I was just hoping to find someone else that maybe has seen it, got it working, etc. Do all Gadget Geeks frequent the same sites?
Haha, I just want the app as bad as you do. Have you tried PDAPhoneHome.com? BTW, it's been confirmed that the version posted on PPCGeeks is in fact from the Touch.
I havent tried pdaphonehome yet, i got the email notification this am that it was from he touch, i was wondering if it was a dll or something like that , thats missing.
The error seems to indicate that a MD5 sum somewhere isn't matching the one they have at the server. The app is working, it just won't connect. It's probable that one of dll's in the folder (IM.dll or im.res.dll) could be the culprit of this MD5 error.
Anyone successfully get this to work on the Omnia?
I've tried the ICS cab + WMWIFIROUTER with Verizon's Touch Pro and that easily worked with out issue.
With the Omnia and I think or suspect it has something to do with the JAGUARGSP chipset it uses vs what HTC uses, the typical ICS cab flowing around isn't working for it.
I've tried all sort of tethering method, including one method here on Tethering with Wifi doesn't seem to work either.
Any insight to this?
By the way, on the Omnia HKLM\Comm\ConnectionSharing\PrivateInterface is blank, there is no value in there if that means anything.
These are the threads I look at so far.

Can you post what the answer? I have an Epix and I haven't tried tethering because I've read that people have had problems with it. I know I'll need to do it soon.
There is a discussion on another forum about tethering on the Epix that might help you out if you still have problems. I don't know what the policy is on this forum regarding links to other sites so if you are curious, please PM me and I'll send you the reference.
Yes, that would be great to see the discussion. I am sure most Samsung will or might have similar issue. I think it has something to do with they using a different WLAN chipset. The JAGUARGSP isn't compatible with that HTC using the most of the cab floating out there are built to use what HTC uses.
This is the WIFI Network Control Panel I have. I think I need the intshare.dll that is compatible wifi driver I have I guess.
I managed to use the tethering with success on the omnia.
I also am using the ICS cab + WMWIFIROUTER on the omina.
First of all, I'm new to this forum (Hi!) and I know this is probably posted in the wrong section, but I don't have enough posts to post it in the appropriate one and I don't want to go spam random comments.
Anyhow, I have an HTC Touch (Either a Vogue or an HTC Elf, I can't see the difference). I've been trying to get Android on my phone using this tutorial (+ the file in the description "Android Eclair for HTC Vogue")
www youtube com/watch?v=XftzWJW_TyM&feature=player_embedded
All goes well until I try running HaRET, it says "Jumping to Kernel" after running it, gives me a grey/black screen, then a white screen and then it sort of freezes.
Now I know I need to use the right default.txt, but for some reason I can't find the right one anywhere and I think that's my problem.
Thanks in advance!
This is the way I got Myn's Warm Donut working on my OKTA Touch (HTC Vogue).
Just follow the instructions here and you will be fine. Also don't skip any of them out either as you will just brick your phone
It's by far the easiest way to do it

There's a critical difference between the CDMA Touch (Vogue) and GSM Touch (Elf) - their chipsets. Vogue is MSM, Elf is OMAP. there is no Android port for the Elf.
Thanks for the answers, but here's a small update, I'm 99 percent sure I have an Elf now, since I just tried what this post (/thread) said:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4430936&postcount=551
It works, but I can't make calls, can't take pictures, ...
Any ideas what I could do or where I could download non-outdated files?
Thanks!

Twonky. They have an Android Application and a Desktop Server Client.
You'll need Wi-Fi to make it work though.

perfect thanks ill check it out.
ohm that seems to just be used for streaming music, video, and pictures....what i need to do is show my android screen up on to a projected screen and show people how to do things on the phone. Kind of like what they do at Google IO when they give live demo's from the phone and the phones screen is projected up onto the large screen so everyone can see it.
check this out...
never tried it.. but it might be what you are looking for

you might have to recruit google's help to find the jar file as it is no longer available in the link provided
