Hi, try this file !!

Can this build be installed to the storage card - and just as importantly, run midlets from the storage card?

I think this is made to be installed to storage card so try installing there..

I've tried that cab and it works. But every text from the java machine is replaced by '<unknown>'. Sometimes I don't know what amd I choosing...

same problem with the unknowns

I was able to get around it (somewhat) by copying over an existing 3.1 installation (using the original extract). but the caveat was that I could not get security settings to stick (tckmax). Noted there was a typo in policy.utf, but fixing did not resolve. I'm sure someone used to working with jbed will come up with a working install shortly.

UPDATED 30.06.08 - Diamond Random Access

Here is updated files to random access, its not system files, just the graphic files.
copy to your sd-card, then use total commander to copy them to windows dir on your device. (will not work properly on "older random access")
It is not the random access from diamond, its just a skin of the "good old one"

In greek Language
I have been trying to find a greek translation for Randomm Access for ages, can you please help me and make one, as I dont have any idea how to do this. Greek alphabet:

Thanks so much for this, looks GREAT! The only problem is, after installing it, I am no longer able to scroll through contacts, unless I use the D-pad. Any idea why this would happen? Any suggestion how I can fix it?

PS: The same thing happened to me after I installed the actual Diamond random access, which is why I went back to the original random access.
EDIT: Okay, I discovered that it is the black RS_Bar.png which causes my phone to stop scrolling contacts. If I replace just the RS_HL.png and RS_ind.png, then it works fine, does anyone have any idea what could cause this? I am able to replace RS_Bar,png with any RS_Bar.png with the white one fine, and it continues to work, it is just the black one which causes scrolling to stop working.

Hi guys,
Generally, this is ideally for chef to cook this with their rom.
However, you can ActiveSync the msim.96.dll to your phone. Here are the instructions.
Step 1 - First you copy the msim.96.dll from your phone back to your laptop/desktop (any) folder.
Step 2 - Then you open this with ResourceHacker. Under Bitmap>15361>1033
Click on Action>Replace bitmap(choose the one you like)..follow the step.
Step 3- Once you replaced the bitmap. Click on File>Save as(make sure you click on Save as) then pick the same folder, and msim.96.dll and overwrite.
Finally- Transfer the finished msim.96.dll back to your phone va ActiveSync.

Windows don´t let me copy this file and paste in other site. Tried by actsync to pc and creating a copy in SD. Windows says it is no possible. What need i to do that?

Yes, you can do it without having to cook the rom.
Just follow the steps.
ps. I don't have CAB maker program.

yes, they will probably work with this, except it uses keyboards in the file 'msim.96.dll.409.mui' (this MIGHT be the difference between WM6 and WM6.1, but I'm not sure), so you MAY have to edit the 'kbs.mscr' file and change al instances of 'msim.96.dll.409.mui' to 'msim.96.dll'.
Then you have to rename the keyboard files to: 'Descriptivename.skin', and add them to the 'Skins.zip' file (or create a new one since the old one contains 'msim.96.dll.409.mui' files instead of 'msim.96.dll')....

Official Custom Car Home (now out)

Car Home is now standalone and fully customisable. I've been using it for a week or so now in the car. All the buttons can be changed to what ever app you like and the black can be changed to colours, wallpaper etc.

Uninstall the old carhome first, reboot then unzip and install both apk's from your sd card. Can't remember which one first. Should work fine using this method.

Can someone confirm that when you 'Add (a) shortcut' you have the possibility to add a direct call?
I installed the latest version downloaded from this thread, but I do not get this option. I had it with a previous version, but cannot make it work again!

I don't use google maps as an navi as an example... i am useing copilot. Would be great to add it insted of google navigation.

This looks the same as the one installed with the Oxygen ROM, and you can on that.

TIPS TO USE IT :laugh:
1. Make sure while using any option move your cursor onto it, to display its information.
2. If toolkit suddenly doesn't respond, make sure you first End its process from task manager then contact me from the toolkit - that why this happen (log)
3. Do not jump onto the options quickly, wait till the first process gets over.
4. That's it, ENJOY
Please install the ToolKit to the root folder on your PC if possible.
For example C:\MTK-Tools or D:\MTK-Tools
If you install it to a folder with brackets or special characters in the filename such as C:\Program Files (x86)\ then it may cause certain processes in the ToolKit to fail.
If you already have the Toolkit installed and want to update it, just open MTK Tools.exe and then Select Help tab to check for updates. If updates are available it will be automatically downloaded.
There have been reports of the Toolkit not working properly if the User Account name is very long or contains special characters so be aware if you have problems.
