I recently installed the xm6r4 rom to my wizard. I really like the look of it. BUT it doese not have the HTC Camera. Where can I download it. The old camera of the MDA is a piece of trash compared to the camera in the TNT rom.

there's a program called CoolCamera....
That runs on some hardware, not all. It does run on Alpine but not om Himalaya. So no idea if it runs on Touch
Btw, Coolcamera ain't free but it does have a lot of good features. unfortunately, it's buggy on some devices.

I really love all the work that people have put on here it really exceeds some of the stock themes you get originally on the Diamonds and I would really love the ability to install some of these wonderful themes.
I have recently acquired an O2 XDA Ignito for those of you who don't know it is the HTC Touch Diamond from O2. I have tried installing themes on there, but it appears it is not fully customizing the look as it appears in the screenshots.
I was wandering if this is because that it is a branded device and rom so there maybe some limitation in that respect.
Can anyone be kind enough to verify this and possibly if there is any solution..

Ok.. I messed up.... I did research... Here is my problem...
I have a HTC Kaiser as my personal phone, my roomate has a Sprint Mogul, and my son has a HTC Polaris (We are an HTC Family.. lol).. Recently I fould an update for the Camera I was using on the Kaiser.. It required an album upgrade and then the camera cab... On my Kaiser it works great... My son wanted it on his Polaris, and again it was flawless... Now this morning my roomate wanted to try it out on his mogul.. .it FAILED... It says it can not caprute the image from the device... before I hit the button to take the picture I can clearly see everything on the screen.. it just won;t take it.. I found the cab's for the camera software, both the vogue and mogul... Neitehr of those work either.. I am thinking it has somethign to do with the album software... but I can;t find a cab for the original.. Please help!

There is another Camera you can use but you lose the Flash. It supposedly takes nicer pictures but I have not really seen too much of a difference. That Camera is the Vogue (Touch) Camera. If this works for you I will CAB that Camera up also so you can try them both.
I loaded the vogue camera on my titan a while back and it does take better pictures. They are less washed out and less blurry than the titan camera. I never really used the flash, so losing it doesn't really matter to me.

I'm currently looking into different camera cabs for the titan myself. The stock one sucks..I wish there was some way to adjust the shutter speed. I'm guessing that the vouge one is the only one out there..sucks that the flash wont work anymore..

I am bussy with a rom for the htc raphael.
The problem i got with the rom is the htc sense 2.5 camera tab.
When i press on the camera button on the right corner of the tab nothing starts or it will hang iff i push the camera button in the startmenu i got something about a certificate not signed or missing an application or some times it's just hanging.
I have tried out differend version of the camera files and other files what the camera uses.
I got differend result one time it works or it just hangs or i get the message certificate not signed or application missing.
I ask which programs in the ext. map do you guys use for the camera button and the htc sense camera tab?
And where can I download it or could you upload it so i can try it out in my rom and look if this will work?

You probably need the updated sdkcerts if you are using the camera hacked to support both sensor 3.3 and 4.x. I have attached a EXT package I took from Gen.Y kitchen. I ran into the same problem previously and just using the new sdkcerts fixed it.

I can say it works.
Only when i start the camera and push on the screen there's nothing happing no settings nothing it even makes no photos.
But so far the camera starts and also the album.
I only need know a good working camera file and album
