PPCTechs.com are the only ones I know of and currently, they do not show any memory upgrades for the Artemis.

Crearing the internal memory from u files
Is there a way to release some of the used internal memory? Say perhaps when you install something sometimes the .CAB files stay there. Can that be released?

No, unfortunately you cant use memory card as device memory It depends on given application whether you can install it on card or not... most of it would install some parts in device memory even if you've chosen memory card... usually link files. Your only solution is to find "big storage" rom for your device and flash it.

What's better: install system software on internal memory or ipaq file store?

depend on file size of the system software you would installing
coz storage on internal memory and ipaq file storage very limited
i prefered installed on my storage card
i believe storage card is a bit slower than the internal memory/ipaq file store, so i generally put them to internal for essential apps, ipaq file store for non essential but handy and storage card only for things that i dont use much or are rather large.
The ipaq file store is too small for proper storage so i might as welll use it for program installs.
I swap my memory card resonablly often though.
If I delete IPAQ File Store it's memory goes to internal memory?
I don't think so, it only stop loading the partition at boot.

Storage memory 97%?

I have a lot of storage card space (75%) and program memory (46%), but my storage memory is 97%? I have a lot of programs install, but can I change this percent ratio? Is this mean that I can`t install any new programs?? Anybody can solution for this problem?? I have HTC HD2 winmobile 6.5....

Your Programs Memory is RAM
Your Storage Card is the SD card
Your Storage Memory is your built-in storage.
You will need to install programs to your Storage Card, and/or uninstall other programs and reinstall them to the Storage Card.
All my programs are install on storage card. Only one or two programs I have install on my device....

In that case, try searching these forums for the HTC album cache tweak, and for clean up programs.
I find some junk in device space and erase it...

Differences between internal and external SD card?

Hallo everyone,
I just get my SGS and I notice that the memory structure is so defined:
- The internal storage memory (8Gb, but i see only 5,7) is called "SDcard"
- the phisical external Sd card is seen as a directory, called "SD" under the SDcard.
Now my questions are:
When I install big seized programs,e.g. Navigators, all the program data are by default stored in the internal memory, which is limited and fix (not expandable). I would install the navigation map on the exernal Sd.
Is this a problem of Android or just how SGS impemented it? Is it possible to make the external card be rocognised as primary SDcard?
- Why the internal memory is only 5,7Gb? ok 8Gb are theoretical but 2,3 GB less ....
Thanks
Bye
The reason it's so small is because the OS and it's apps have to go somewhere, also when Froyo is released you'll be able to install apps directly to the SD card but know that internal memory is much faster than an SD card so you may what to keep that in mind when you factor in what apps to install to SD.
Hallo Sebrina,
thanks for the answer, I supposed the 2,3 Gb were for the OS, in fact the space for application is 1,8GB, but I hoped the two memorys are separated.
So with froyo will be able really to install the app on the real Sd card, and not on the internal memory, whichist called "SDcard" by the os?
Thanks
bye
Paolo
is it possible to re-partition the internal SD?
